1	Dating after divorce I did the whole bottling up emotions thing during the tail end of the marriage. Problem was when I would try and tell her I felt the response would be “well it’s because you do…” so I got to a point where I said fuck it I’ll just keep my mouth shut. I need to pick and chose my battles- my feelings are going to be invalidated anyway. Knowing what I know now it wasn’t the proper way to handle it but at this point it is what it is. 3	Dating after divorce Agreed. Most women don’t understand the sanctity of marriage especially in the US. Once my ex said she wanted out I said fuck it and booked a trip to South America. Women here are always on the lookout for their best option. I won’t put up with it AT ALL. I’m a lawyer by trade and have developed a keen sense of smelling bullshit.
