Because it entrenches problematic old gender belief. Why is sex a favor from the women to men? And it's used to trade for financial compensation? C'mon, keep saying this is not fucked up. And don't tell me this is just entertainment and whatnot, celebrity's influence on lots of people with no strong belief system is immense. Cardi B has always been promoting toxic pseudofeminism and she needs to take a seat and shut up

okay, how do you respond to that?

How to respond tho? I think it's better to be mysterious

Stop reading books or watch PUA videos. The vast majority of the female population does not respond to these carefully planned "playful" texts. Be funny but don't try too hard. Otherwise you come off as weird, off-putting, or a pain in the as to deal with

But if assuming everything is a decent A-, and she alluded to future reengagement without me prompting, what could possibly be the reason of her dropping off the map?

The sleeping with the girls and not keeping in touch part is saddening. If it's enjoyable to both parties I don't understand why it can't happen repeatedly.

Seriously bad advice. People come in here asking for feedback and you tell them "you go gal, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you!" To OP, ask yourself if you are being too flippant at times, you could come off as being untrustworthy. If you can't hold a real conversation that's a problem.

Maybe she’s a 10 but people don’t take her seriously at work or school. Maybe she wants to do some extreme sport but has never had the chance. What can you do to fill the void for these two examples besides making a joke about it and risking looking like an ass?

At this point inner game no longer holds me back, I just wanna consume technical stuff to get good and I'm sure lots of people can relate to that

"hey man, life as a hard working American ain't easy" But honestly, if you can't take a shower before going out the door, you need to get your shit together first. Don't get butthurt when someone calls you out on basic etiquette issues.

that's an insult not a joke, you'd just laugh it off if someone says that, it's not worth a come back

nah you wanna think on the spot, you can't be like "wait let me msg this dude on reddit and i'll give my come back"

Why not share it here? I can think of a couple routes to go from there, 1). play along with it and add something even more ridiculous along the same line 2). pretend that it got to you but say something that plays along with the joke 3). shrug it off, e.g. "hey it is what it is", "you gotta do what you gotta do", "yup that's what's up" P.S. If anyone want to see what 1) and 2) are like, you are welcome to throw me some punches r/roastme style

I try to get close with some and they give me the cold shoulder or show no interest back IMO many people are either pre-occupied by their existing relations, distracted by personal issues, or just straight up dicks. Whatever the case might be, just brush it off and move on, don't dwell on it.

Hmm, it could go both ways, OP's response is safer

My question is, how to compliment someone you meet on the street. You can't be like "hey I want to meet you coz you have a big heart. Yeah I know, I see right thru you."

If you don't mind could you elaborate on the escalate, cool down, escalate again part? Like what exactly did you do.

Agreed, I can't imagine if you are being a nice normal person (which you should), anyone would respond to a suggestion to hangout with "no thanks", but that tells so little about people's actual intent

If you place your self worth in physical contact with other people you will lose confidence eventually if you hit a cold streak, and you will. Try to invest in yourself and be proud of who you are instead of whether you fuck.

In the same boat, I feel like if you just say you are allergic it'll take some heat off you though not completely. The rest of it is dependent on your personality, as in if you can steer the group to have fun then you could get off almost completely

I know this sub is all about encouraging and supporting, but being here for too long gives you a warped line of sight in social situations. This is not a bad thing but keep in mind that normal people don't go around with that flirting mindset. It's just weird that girl did what she did, unless there are other things going on that OP didn't mention. People who downvote me should work on their critical thinking instead of accepting every story and cheering people on in an undiscriminating way. Tha…

Don't put cute girls on the pedestal, that doesn't sound like a thing normal people do. Not saying you shouldn't pursue, but keep in mind she's weird.

table Com'on dude, just trying to get a sense that's all since I will likely be in your shoes in a few years. The nature of NYU dictates that going there is not all that indicative to each individual's intellectual prowess. I am telling from personal experience that there are plenty of dumb people from ivy schools let along NYU. Your point about KISS is on point tho.

How does the relationship work? Is your girlfriend an exceptionally smart model or do you just not care about having an intellectual match?

I get a sense that well timed and adequate touching really showcases your dominance and confidence, but it's so hard, for me at least, to practice in the field (it's always that fleeting moment that I lagged for two seconds and realized what I should have done but it was too late). I would really appreciate if someone has a systematic guide of some sort that break down touchings into different categories that convey different msgs and how to integrate them into conversations.
