Seeking out studies to affirm women's in-group preference would be committing confirmation bias. I may make another post discussing (wo)men's in- and out-group preferences, but I want people to stop flocking to this extremely poor-quality study merely because they want to capitalize on its findings without investigating its methodology.

Women choose to get pregnant during the years of critical career development, and we all have to save them from their own choices. Granted, I do not care that women take paid maternal leave because the last thing I am concerned with is that a multi-million-dollar corporation has to relinquish a portion of its millions to the employees who rake in the cash. Of course, women on maternal leave are only draining resources, but the company will survive.

The study lists childcare expectations as promulgating societal gender bias, but I honestly deem it to be a privilege. Imagine that you are an employer and you hire someone who works for a while before vanishing for months or even years on end; you are forced by the government to pay that employee's salary as if work were being performed, and it is illegal to fire them. But wait, the employee is a woman and she recently became a mother. That makes it fair...?

That sounds like a lie. Medical staff are trained to run tests to ascertain the cause of reported symptoms. For a nurse to attributable a woman's chest pain to pregnancy without knowing whether the woman is pregnant is incredulous to me. The fact she says that multiple doctors have done this is even more of a suspension of belief.
