Interesting you mention that you're in Toronto because I just visited friends there for a couple weeks! We hung in the area around Dundas station, basically just Korean food, karaoke, and sitting bars though. "The Fry" has some delicious chicken.

I basically agree with this, but the caveat is that clubs and bars are not two separate entities. I'll ramble about this for a bit. Venues are all on a spectrum. I personally prefer venues that are right in the middle, neither a bar nor a club. I'd probably categorize them in ascending order of chaos as Sitting Bar --> Standing Bar --> DJ Bar --> Lounge Club --> Dance Club. Sitting bar: A long bar with many stools and a few tables. Yeah I'm curious where tf OP lives that 5'9" is some kind of issue. Maybe in Northern Europe or the Netherlands? But why isn't he using centimeters? If OP is actually 5'9" then it means he's going to be taller than virtually all of his partners, so if they get snarky he could laugh, pat them on the head and ruffle their hair around a bit. Couldn't disagree more -- though it's just a difference in philosophy. The number one mistake I see most guys doing is simply not going out enough, not talking to enough women. Every guy these days seems to be on some "monk mode" shit where they just work out, read, obsess over their careers, etc. which are all great but actually going out and engaging is where the gap is.
