That is something else I'm missing, is just trying to find new guy friends, too. I had some that I played darts with, but my STBXW three APs were all fellow darters (and the one she's currently with), so it's hard to go do that now. Maybe golf is the answer... It's been nearly 15 years since I last played but never just went solo.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. I recently went to a showing of The Goonies at my historic, local, downtown theatre that was a lot of fun. I've been forcing myself to go out, and it's just been costing too much. I also need to get motivated to try new hobbies, though, but it's been hard to do so.

We were going to do mediation, as we thought it would be quicker and cheaper, too. Since we had already pretty much agreed on everything anyway, I just grabbed the pro se packet from the court and we did it ourself. Well, it of course fell on me to really be the one to fill/type it all up, but "we" managed to do it fine. Under $400 to file it, which we did last Tuesday and our Zoom court date is a week or so later than the minimum "cooling off" period for my state. However, it took about a month…

Finding absolutely no motivation to clean the house right now, instead I come to Reddit to find this. Lol. Although, mine is less cleaning and more getting organized to start splitting the things. STBXW is moving out next Saturday.

I am probably simping, but what if we already do fundamentally agree on 50/50 custody, an equitable division of our assets, etc. I hate the thought of spending "our" money on two lawyers who are both putting things in our head that we should fight for, drawing up their billable hours, and then we're both left with less than we otherwise would have if we just had a couple of hours of mediation with the documents drawn up and filed.
