I do have to offer an alternate take on cis men who become radical feminists. Not all of them do it fro self flagellation. Plenty of them do it because it give them a socially acceptable method of punching down on people lower than them without any impunity, so they're not "weak", they're actually sadistic.

I'm not American, I'm from Kazakhstan lol... Eastern Europe and Central Asia aren't very tolerant of gay people... Also the smaller dating pool aspect of it applies to even the most queer inclusive place in the world, because most people aren't gay/bi...
