you do understand that you arent supposed to rape people, right? knowing that forcing yourself on someone doesnt earn you an attaboy. I hope you meant this as a poor attempt at a joke because its the most idiotic thing ive ever seen.

Reality often doesnt meet expectations weather you think your perfect or not. People tend to adjust and adapt. what I'm curious about is why you find it problematic that these women see themselves as 10's? You have no idea what their expectations are or even if they have any expectations. They never even said they thought they were perfect , they just so happen to think that they are physically 10's.

and its a problem because.....?

I dont think Im a simp and what's wrong with a woman thinking highly of herself? Why would you consider that a problem?

"But… how did we come up with those numbers? And why can temperature be measured in three different units? Someone had to assign values at some point and then we had to agree on those values." I don't know, never thought about it. Its something that had already been agreed upon long before I was born. Attractive ness unlike temperature has no agreed upon value which is what I'm getting at. Your scale has no 10's that doesnt make those women any less beautiful in my eyes.

True but its not my opinion that its 75 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Thats the temperature. Temperature measurement has been agreed upon weather you use fahrenheit or Celsius. You can argue that you feel 75 degrees is too hot or too cold but the temperature is going to be what it is. Attractiveness has no such agreement. When you give someone's looks a number rating , you are giving your opinion not a hard universally agreed upon assessment.

Maybe, I think rating people numerically is kind of stupid and inaccurate since people have varying criteria for what they deem attractive. Each one of those women, in my opinion were striking and in my brief assessment, flawless at least physically. A longer look or getting to know them could change that opinion but thats all numerical rating systems like this are.

Why not? Physically, ithink they're all beautiful.

Those women were all gorgeous! What was wrong in how they rated themselves?

that it would be difficult and awkward is much of the reason that a lot of women dont like male friends trying to engage with them romantically. The friendship rarely survives the rejection.

If she were to reject your romantic efforts for whatever reason, would you still want to remain friends with her?

Why would you want to manipulate and belittle someone you are trying to have a relationship with? Do you actually like or care about the women you date? I'm asking sincerely because going by this discussion it seems that a lot of people don't have a very favorable opinion of the people they might consider pursuing a relationship with. If you like someone , wouldn't behaving as if you like them be a more direct and less creepy bananas way of going about that?

Most People that get a cancer diagnosis tend to have sought out the opinion of a doctor. Do a lot of people ask your opinion on their marital status? Also, maybe you're right.. .oh look! It's still none of your business. People can figure out what they need/want/desire without your input.

Why do you think they need to be told? why did you take on the job of matrimony enforcer? People tend to already know what makes them happy. Why would they need you to let them know that statistics say that they better partner up or else they'll never be content?

In my experience mist women only state that they dont need men in response to someone that claim that they wont be secure/ happy/ fulfilled etc. Unless they have a man to make them feel complete. People sometimes tend to treat women as if they are constant on the hunt for an additional human that can give meaning to their lives. It also happens when a woman states that she doesn't want children, people almost always reject the idea since desire to be a wife and mother is a given to a lot pf peop…

Are you addressing me? I din not refute any study. I think I might even be agreeing with it. People can be rude, women are guilty of rudeness and indifference towards men , for sure. I was just offering an additional perspective on the issue.

So, they're disgusted by men? A lot of people in thsi sub seem to b disgusted by women adwuld rather not deal with them right now. If someone's rude to you, now you know not to bother with them, everyone wins.

I didn't mention fear , compare treatment of men and women or night time alleyways. I said sometimes people just don't care about you and see to reason to try to pretend that they do.

Often people, men and women , don't feel the need to be open and friendly with some random stranger that happens to want a conversation with them. A lot of times women are considered rude because they don't want to engage and state that immediately and succinctly. It happens with men ,with women with everyone sometimes. People are allowed to be dismissive and indifferent when they don't want to bother with having to be careful with someone they didn't know nor have given any indication that they…

There's a good chance that it's not your virtue that she cares about. I mean, how would she even know until you tell her. If you are offering a woman your going out with your virginity and she immediately dumps you over it, thats fucked up, but she just may be uncomfortable being the person you have your first time with. If it's a person that you've just asked out and you were rejected once you shared that you were a virgin and never had a girlfriend, maybethe oversharing and sense of expectatio…
