You're pretty much me. When I was a field technician I too dabbled with alarms and security. It was good enough for a few resume bullet points I won't lie but it wasn't for me but I am glad you enjoy it!

I mean have issues dating as well but I don't have any problems with engaging a female in conversation or have that much difficulty going on dates but yes as I've figured it would be IT is the common ground.
