Spot on! My ex treated me horribly and when I confronted him, he would say “I’ve never even laid a finger on you”. The fucked up part is he prided himself on that

They know! They fucking know! When I asked my NVX why are you treating me like shit while you’re treating others courteously, he said “If I be disrespectful towards them, they won’t tolerate it. Also you don’t deserve respect.” Thank god, I didn’t waste my entire twenties with him.

I didn’t know that disproportionate rage from my father made me terrified of conflict. Thanks for enlightening me

Effing moron. Sex selective abortion is criminalised in India. And it is one of the strictly implemented laws. Also, if a guy in an arranged marriage setting asks for “labia” pics, I’m gonna name and shame him to the family. With Sex Ratio being 812 females to 1000 males, the scrodacity is too much

This! I wish I had known this as a teen. My father takes good care of us. It's not like I have unreasonable expenses. My ex constantly spoke ill of my family. He constantly berated my father. I am to this day livid!!!

very true..there was once a lady in our community who was so drained out and mentally wrecked. When her alcoholic husband died she bloomed and started teaching music to children in the community.

Yes...if I am offering myself in a platter, who is going to say no? Maybe the degree of damage will vary depending on HVM/LVM/NVM. At the end of the day AMALT.

Really true. I was once with an abusive guy. When I brought up the fact that I wasn’t treated well by him, he said at least I don’t hit you!

OP, I can relate to this. I am from a similar background. I am also trying to work on my issues. It really sucks that we Desi girls aren't allowed to have enriching life experiences. I am thinking of an arranged marriage right now. At least then the guys in it are marriage minded?

Being attracted f* boys comes from our deep seated patterns and belief system. If we had an abusive household, we tend to get attracted towards abusive people because our brain knows how to respond to abuse. Conversely, with the HVMs we may find them boring because we are so much used to 'drama'. So I am confused whether I must keep dating a person who I find boring?

I find lady gamers to be considerate but men go as far as yelling at you when you merely come into the vicinity of their 'play area'
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/05/20 05:26 AM

I agree that having money doesn't automatically make him HVM. But I am kind of on the fence on what she said about 'limiting experiences'. For instance, I have been burned too many times by gamer guys. I won't date them. It's imperative to have boundaries right?

What to do if you have a LVM family member who constantly treats you like shit and you aren't in a position to move out?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/05/20 06:45 AM

Once again proves that LVMs value their friends’ “opinions and approval” over you. I suffered a lot because of asshat friends of his. smh

The level of propaganda to promote anal is disgusting. This is from an Indian TV show. There is a party going on and people are randomly chatting. And then out of the blue, a grandma is asking a couple "have you tried anal? it's very pleasurable". Like wtf. There wasn't even a context to talk about sex other than the fact that they were a couple. Leave alone, anal.

In a way I am thankful for those horrible times. If they didn't happen, I wouldn't have connected with FDS principles at a deeper level. All the knowledge in the world is worthless, if we cannot intuitively make sense out of it. Being hurt gives that intuition.

My past relationship was inter-racial. At the beginning of the relationship I asked him if his folks would accept us. He said "All that matters is that you are going to be my wife, you need not worry about them". In the end problems arose because of the very same thing. It's just a card they play to get a coochie. Thankfully, you didn't proceed.

Please ask these libfem to come to Sonagachi or Kamathipura in India where these sex workers are living in squalid living conditions, dying off STDs without decent medical access. Hell, their kids get stigmatised because of their mothers’ work. Upward mobility my ass!

maybe that’s also a way to gain sympathy from others. Eventually when the breakup happened he portrayed me as a cold b**ch.

I experienced this as a teenager. He was sweet, he didn’t do anything wrong at the beginning of the relationship. I wasn’t physically attracted to him but I went on dates just because he was nice. He kept on accusing me that I would eventually leave him and made me prove my faithfulness over and over again. These insecure guys simply don’t deserve our company.

I once read that men in Pakistan had sex with Female Indus river dolphin because their genitals look like vagina. That’s when I thought let climate change get those dolphins rather than this sick kink.

Not only potential love interests, even my own brother used my insecurity as an ammunition against me. That's when I decided to keep my insecurities to myself, my mom and my trusted girl friends.

The last line sums it all up. The break up happened 5 years back. The trauma consumed me and I self isolated. Life has practically washed over me and I am still the same person. I didn’t explore new things or have new experiences. The worst thing that I can do to past me is to not level up. I am trying to improve now.

Giving him any other explanation about the relationship makes him perfect his act and will make him land the next victim with finesse. Just block him girl.

Booktube is my favourite part of YouTube. They have loads of bookish content like book reviews, recommendations, reading vlogs etc., Some of my favourites are Ariel Bissett, Merphy Napier.

Most of the comments in the original post say so. What seems iffy is that they both grew together and suddenly he has money. The moment he gets money, he somehow re-evaluates her? Although it’s unclear whether she wants a new pre-nup.

most of the comments in the AITA post says so. Idk, she built with that man. Now that he has inherited new money, she seems dispensable? Correct me if I am wrong

ikr, i am a south asian. Though there is an anti-dowry law in place, scrotes & their family demand it in the form “gifts” or fully paid grand wedding ceremony from the girl’s side.

what’s appalling is that when the guy was with a rich girl, he wasn’t a gold digger. But if the situation is reversed, she is called a gold digger.

You just opened my eyes. My ex would cause needless drama by rehashing what his friends said to him. He would expect me to act according to their standards.

I am a Desi too. Normally here in India, parents ask if we like the guy within two or three dates. How to complete vetting within such a short time period?
