Thanks for the comment. Reading through these comments has helped me gain some perspective. I don't want to change him, I want to bring out the alpha I already know is inside of him, and to get him to work on getting the body he himself says he wants to get. When I met my man he was quite nervous and I initially dismissed him as beta, but that was actually just lack of experience as he was only 21... I was very quickly made aware that he didn't take any shit, he is incredibly intelligent, quick witted, socially competent and is very much an alpha at heart.
