Girls often are very receptive at parties moreso than they usually are, So it is natural sometimes that they flake after giving out their number if a powerful connection hadn't been created. Physically this can be done by k/f-closing, but at college parties this can often lead you to just a one night stand/hookup. Emotionally you really need to connect with the girl in order for her to want to continue to get to know you, through common interests, passions, similarities, etc. It's good to always…

You should look up the kino escalation ladder. In general i will always save the face for last unless it's clear she's into me enough that i can escalate drastically like that. I know you thought you built up but there's more layers beyond arm/shoulder such as sitting w/ legs touching, touching her thigh, arm on small of her back, arm around her, etc.

Haha that's crazy, the character approach is exactly what I've been using to fuel my interactions to good success recently. I still need to work on maintaining that frame though.

I think what happens is after my questions, etc, I sometimes end up at a dead end. I know of conversation threading, etc, but naturally in the moment sometimes my head draws a blank. How do you react during these silences?

I think my sticking point at the moment is that I struggle after having isolated the girl. In initial conversations where it's just small talk/joking around I do great but after isolating the girl I'm often at a loss as to what to say. I genuinely want to get to know the girl but I think what holds me back is a fear that the questions I ask or the way I talk to her in isolation may place me in the friend zone. I'm not scared to kino and I know when to, but I just struggle with building up the co…

Haha it's just to keep it simple for you, having a convo plan laid out never really works. And since shes new offer to show her cool things in the city.

Ask her what she's listening to.

Since you can't really exercise all that hard on a bad ankle I'd suggest getting a really healthy diet.

One of the easiest ways to friendzone yourself is to talk to them about their issues or ask them if they see any cute guys at the party.

Work out over the summer as much as you can. Read some books. Start looking into dressing nicer. Wherever you go try to make small talk with whoever is there, whether it's someone at the gym, a cashier, a waiter, etc. It can just be small stuff like "busy day today huh?" or a light joke, but it will slowly improve your confidence with talking to people you don't know. Texas guy is on point with body language. In college SO many people are so uncomfortable and insecure about themselves that guys …

ShootTheRat is definitely on point. Something to add though is that I personally don't like to directly compliment on looks or physical features because there isn't much for the girl to say in response: "oh, thank you!" is really the best she can do. You can go into something else from there and it can work on more sexually aggressive women, but it can also push away a lot of others. One thing that stuck with me is a quote I read somewhere that basically went along the lines of "Compliment a gir…

May I ask what your current situation is? City you're living in, what you are doing as a job or if you are studying, etc? Because I think those things could be a huge factor in this. Generally though I think it's not so much finding that certain type of girl but finding an environment where it IS relaxed and allows more room for talking. Even at a club, if the girl is relaxed etc. it'd still be annoying to yell over music and the other loud people, etc. With that said I would recommend places li…

Hey man, I'm guessing it's the fact that you're not very comfortable with the shift you had in your environment. I'm actually a lot like you in that in high school I was very comfortable but now in college where you're constantly meeting people I'm a lot more overanalytical. And similarly I would use weed as a crutch to avoid social anxiety. Hell I'm even a second year too lol. But my input as to how I personally overcame it is that I stopped worrying so much about what people would think of me.…

Hi, this is great advice and I'll definitely keep that in mind. To be specific though I was wondering if there were certain ways in conversation with these sort of conservative, less outgoing girls to be more subtly sexual since they usually don't pick up on overtly flirty/sexual comments or get creeped out by them. Any example conversations or things like that would help me out a lot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
