Until you're 36 and still haven't met someone and figure you may as well just give up

Dear god, kick him out now before you waste the very last of your best years with a suffocating leech who convinces you that you are the problem. He's pathetic. You're pathetic if you stay with him. Go tell him right now that his free ride is OVER.

And I guess I'm in the ditch behind it at 34 :|

I don't all the time, but I always feel and look better when I do.

Well, it's not what I always imagined... But I guess there's no real reason NOT to adjust my expectations

Well it's a little discouraging when all women I know are married or in LTRs, and there's definitely not an RP woman amongst them. I do my best and it doesn't really matter. By this age all the men who wanted to get married have already done it. Meanwhile, I hit the wall years ago, spent a depressed and anxious lifetime accomplishing nothing much and... now I guess I just complain on the internet. Lost my motivation, I guess.

One thing I like about vintage-style hair and makeup is that anybody can look polished and put together even if they're not a "natural" beauty. Being well-groomed and well-dressed can do so much for anyone's appearance. I really don't make the effort to do a pincurl set on my hair very often, but for a special occasion that and a great outfit definitely takes me from average to fricken knockout (relatively, anyway!). Just on regular days choosing flattering clothes, a little makeup and a bit of …

I'm 33 and my friends keep telling me there's "lots" of time... They don't seem to get that guys who want to get married have pretty much already done it by my age.

The shoes are quality, too! I've had some bad experiences buying shoes online (crappy, painful shoes!) but modcloth seems to hit the perfect price-performance point.

Taking advantage would be manipulating him, this is an arrangement freely made. You said you've had lots of conversations about it, so I would think he would feel comfortable asking you if he needed you to contribute more money-wise. You're making it easier for him to go to that time-demanding job and make a lot of money, he's making it easier for you to keep studying and save for your bills. This sounds like a reciprocal relationship to me!

Don't be embarrassed, I didn't learn much about makeup until I was like... 30 :( haha Thebeautydepartment.com is a great site with tips and tutorials for hair and makeup, I've learned a lot from them!

Not really relevant to the point, but PhD's were the first "doctor," physicians are "allowed" to use it out of professional courtesy! Obviously anybody behaving like how you just described is a total jackass though, female OR male. Wow.

Well I can tell you that what I can glean of your personality certainly precludes me from dating or having sex with you, no matter what you look like or how much money you make.

which razor do you use? I've been looking into getting one soon, probably the parker 29L, but it's hard to find reviews for use on legs since so many fewer women use them!
