I’ve reached my breaking point and now I’m truly committed to getting over anxiety. Open to suggestionsCut the video games and divert that time into a varsity sport (baseball, football, soccer, basketball, etc). You’ll not only make friends this way but also up your smv (assuming you’re in HS/uni). | /r/askTRP | 19/08/19 12:38 PM
I’ve reached my breaking point and now I’m truly committed to getting over anxiety. Open to suggestionsStart by talking to randos (uber rides, grocery, gym, etc) daily. The more you do this, the more comfortable you’ll be just talking to people. This should help you build momentum to approach. Btw killer physique, brother. | /r/askTRP | 19/08/19 11:15 AM

Quick reality checkSee the thing is, very few adults are going to take advice from someone they see as a “kid.” He raised you, so he’s always going to see you as a kid. If you get him to the doctor and have the doctor tell/show him the benefits, he’s more likely to take that advice and adopt your lifestyle. Why not take a more proactive approach than trying to stick to a method that hasn’t been working? | /r/askTRP | 17/08/19 04:31 AM
Quick reality checkI’m not sure what you’re asking here, buddy. Why don’t you take him for a physical exam/blood work and compare results to SHOW him the benefits of working out rather than arguing w/ him about it? Maybe you’ll open his eyes and get him on track as well. He is your dad after all. No need for the hate. | /r/askTRP | 17/08/19 04:14 AM
I am doing starting strength from 9 months. I want to be jacked. I am not sure if I should keep bulking or start cutting next?Athlean X does have a video on it too. Regardless of his use of steroids or not, his videos are largely backed by scientific studies. I personally find these more reliable than other claims with anecdotal evidence. It’s up to you, really. Just offering a suggestion to OP that might offer a midway between his choices. | /r/askTRP | 17/08/19 12:41 AM
I am doing starting strength from 9 months. I want to be jacked. I am not sure if I should keep bulking or start cutting next?Or you can try a body recomp. Jeff Nippard has a good video on it, where you drop slightly below maintenance (~200/300 calories) and still continue to progressively overload. Works mostly on individuals with higher BF% or newbies. | /r/askTRP | 16/08/19 04:10 PM
Conflicted about ending an amazing relationshipAs strong as ever. If you keep all that up and are ready to walk away when needed, then you should be absolutely fine. | /r/askTRP | 15/08/19 11:29 AM
Conflicted about ending an amazing relationshipI was in a similar situation (4-year LDR w/o the luxury of seeing each other every week). I used the time away to work on myself (lift, study, meal prep, plan career, discover new hobbies etc.) I suggest you do the same. Never stop keeping your game on point, which doesn’t mean you have to cheat. Just make sure you keep approaching and gaming to not get rusty. In doing so, you’ll also have a few lined up in case something goes wrong. | /r/askTRP | 15/08/19 09:13 AM
