Here is a source: Expert Claims Women Are Happiest Unmarried and Childless - Oxbridge Applications

Yup. There have been studies that show single, childless women are the happiest demographic.

I give women a little grace if they're young and inexperienced. Some women are raised in toxic environments and think terrible men are "normal" (I speak from experience). I think a lot of women in those situations have at least one toxic relationship in their lives. However, after a certain age/going through the same thing before, they should know better. The people you surround yourself with says a lot about your character.

Hey come on now, you know for a fact you'd cheat if a 17-year-old made a move on you.

Good look keeping "lasting relationships" if you're always lusting over and comparing your partner to younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:54 PM

Okay, so what happens when your partner ages? Will you just divorce them and keep leaving them for someone "young" over and over?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 02:03 PM

People who say stuff like this should never get married. You know everyone ages, right? People don't stay young forever.

Men who don’t care about pleasuring their woman are useless and don’t deserve sex.

I don't care what type of car it is, what I care about is that a man at least HAS a car because I don't want to end up being someone's chauffeur.

Just because someone is attractive doesn't mean they want to constantly be in a relationship. Also, looks have very little to do with overall relationship success.

There's nothing shallow about wanting to date someone you're physically attracted to. If you date people you're not physically attracted to, you're holding yourself back. Learned that the hard way. And why do people assume that people can't be both attractive AND have a good personality? I don't understand that. Such a weird misconception that "all ugly men are nice". If we're being honest, I've met *way* more ugly men with bad personalities than attractive men with bad personalities, but no one…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 08:35 PM

A lot of times, ugly people have a chip on their shoulder and a victim mentality, sadly.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 06:34 PM

Wow... You don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about, and you're projecting and creating made up scenarios. It was really just as simple as them not being a good person despite their unfortunate looks, that's all there is to it. It's clear that I won't be able to reason with you, so I'm going to stop going back and forth. Take care.

I’m not proud of it, but I’ve dated people I had zero physical attraction to. I’m talking maybe 2/10 if I’m being generous. I only liked them as a friend and shouldn’t have dated them. But I was super young and didn’t know better at the time. And once we started dating they completely changed and were controlling, insecure, jealous… I could go on. Again, the idea that ugly men will automatically treat a woman well is 100% not true whatsoever. There’s literally dudes out there with fucked up defo…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 04:25 PM

In response to your second point, when I was young I went through a phase where I tried to not care about looks. Huge mistake, because I learned the narrative that "less attractive men will treat you better" is completely false. Just because someone is ugly doesn't mean they have the personality to make up for it; more times than not, they don't. There's no shame in wanting to date someone you're physically attracted to, within reason. I might as well date someone I'm attracted to AND who treats…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 04:13 PM

This hasn't been my experience. The guys who've treated me the worst were all unattractive guys... which is confusing considering you would think they'd be thankful a woman was giving them the time of day.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 03:38 PM
3

I will never understand where the whole "ugly people have the greatest personality" idea came from. Some of the worst people I've ever known in my life were ugly. I went through a "give an ugly guy a chance" phase and they treated me worse than the attractive guys I've been with. Just because someone is ugly doesn't mean their personality will make up for it. People just need to date people they're attracted to, within reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 03:35 PM

Well, considering the first thing that comes to your mind is suicide, it sounds like you could work on your mental health. A victim mentality is not attractive to women.

As a woman in her late twenties, I have never agreed more with a post in this sub. I wish it were easier to make friends as an adult. Makes me wish I cared more about making lasting friendships when I were still in school.

It's just a really unhealthy mindset to think that having a partner will be a "magic fix". I can guarantee that with the majority of men who have a one-track mind in that regard, finding a partner should be at the bottom of their priority list.

Here's my comment somewhere else on this post that got buried that explains my thoughts better: Why is it bad advice to suggest someone does some self-reflection to figure out things in their life that they can work on? Doing so will greatly increase your chances of finding a partner. The truth is, if someone has struggled their whole lives in the relationship department, there's probably a good reason and it's worth trying to work past it to try to overcome it.

Great comment. Any man who revolves their entire life around finding a partner and that's their only hobby, and they believe they absolutely CANNOT be happy unless they have a partner... That's a problem. Can you really blame women for not wanting to date men like that?

It honestly depends on the person. Autism effects everyone on the spectrum differently so it’s a case-by-case basis type of thing. I’ve known autistic guys who had no problems getting girls and others who’ve never been with a girl in their life

I don’t care what someone else does. However, it’s pretty cringe and pathetic when people complain about how lonely they are and how they hate being single yet they’re a 4 and only go after 10s. But then again, their choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 04:12 PM

I agree. There's nothing wrong with having standards. I've already had unfulfilling relationships where I settled for less, and I don't wish to repeat that again. However, on the other hand, people should also be realistic. A lot of people don't bring much to the table (whether it's looks-wise, personality-wise, or both) while simultaneously wanting someone who has "the full package". I think people would have better luck finding someone if they sought out people on their level.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 03:50 PM

Exactly. I think a huge problem is that most people try to date way above their league. There's a difference between having standards and being unrealistic.

I have really niche interests, and I want someone who likes the same things as me. I get along best with people who share my interests. I don’t know how people can have a fulfilling relationship with someone they have nothing in common with.

This is by far the smartest comment on this post. Perfectly stated, and thank you for your input. Men need to realize an "oh poor me" attitude will dig their hole deeper. It's just easier for them to blame others for their problems instead of doing some self-reflection.

Not trolling at all. Despite what the internet has fed you, relationships aren't exclusive to "attractive" people. Anyone who leaves the house and goes in any public place can see that plenty of "ugly" people are in relationships.

You can’t compare the 1950s to 2022. Things have done a 180 since then. Marriage was a lot more common back then because a lot of women depended on men financially so they could stay at home to be a “housewife”. Also, there was a lot more pressure to get married in that time period. Both men and women have to work full time now, and women no longer have to depend on men financially. And not to mention, being single as a life choice has become more socially acceptable, thus resulting in women rai…

Autism is not a choice. In another comment I explained my thoughts on this topic. However, no matter what has happened in your past, self-pity is not going to make things easier for you and will send you further down the rabbit hole.

That doesn't make sense. Women know what we want and what we consider to be off-putting in men. I think it's best to listen to women on this issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 03:45 PM
1

Exactly. That's why I hate seeing guys say "women only want muscular men over 6 feet tall". They can't speak for all women. Different strokes for different folks. I actually have a preference for shorter, scrawny guys lol.

Having autism is a tough one. I know a lot of adult autistic men and most of them are still virgins. My longest relationship was with an autistic man. I was young and put up with a lot of things in it that I shouldn't have because I didn't know better at the time. Ultimately, I broke things off because he couldn't meet my emotional needs. Having autism is no one's fault, but the truth is that some autistic behavior will be inherently off-putting to women. I met up with another autistic man from …

I do agree that sometimes women won't be interested in a man, even if he is the typical "full package". It's crazy to expect every woman you meet to be attracted to you. However, if a man has approached/tried talking to women hundreds of times and pretty much every single one of them was repulsed, he is the reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 03:06 PM

They're so "basic and common" because those are insanely common issues that women deal with constantly... there's a reason they're a meme. And I see those type of men in relationships every day of my life. Anyone who has ever gone outside can see that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 03:02 PM

Not projecting at all. I was just giving some examples. It’s silly to say that relationships are exclusive to attractive people. There are plenty of short, balding, ugly men in relationships.

I just gave that as an example, but I know plenty of real-life people who are in relationships. Relationships aren't just exclusive to "attractive" people.

The reason I brought up hygiene is because even if someone isn't the most attractive person, hygiene and being well-groomed goes a long way. Men severely underestimate how much having clean hair, smelling good, a good haircut, keeping their facial hair in check, etc. can go. It can even bring the most "unattractive" person up several points.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 02:22 PM

Looks don't matter as much as people think. I know plenty of ugly people in relationships... just go on TikTok. Confidence and game go a long way.

Dating isn't supposed to be "fair". Discrimination is okay when it comes to dating because you simply can't force attraction and it's okay to have standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 01:48 PM
15

Exactly. It's much less about looks than most people realize. Those guys are mainly attracted to the immaturity and the idea of a power trip.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:50 PM

This is the side of it that people don't want to discuss. If an older man exclusively dates women much younger than him, there's a reason. And most of the time it's because younger women have less dating experience and are more likely to put up with toxic behavior because they haven't "been through it" yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:43 PM

Yep, that gives "men's rights" vibes. Men's rights beliefs are cope. Statistically speaking, men and women are not even close to being abused at the same rates (it's incredibly more common for women to be abused).

At a bus stop (while on vacation). This has happened multiple times. It freaked me out but I handled it the best way I could. This is why I'm glad I don't have to use the bus in my town. So awkward.

I just checked your post history and you made a post that says “Most incels are great people”… That right there makes you lose all potential credibility. Being bitter towards women won’t make them magically want to fuck you… unless you pay them. Take care.

If there's a huge financial and attractiveness gap... no. If you're an ugly man and want a hot woman, expect that it will be a transactional relationship.

The main reason foreign women marry American men is because a lot of people from foreign/poorer countries assume every American is a millionaire. Check out the show 90 Day Fiance and you'll see what I mean. So if you're cool with being used for money, go for it.

If a man is 30+ and specifically seeks out women barely out of their teens, they are just looking for someone who's naive and who they can easily manipulate. It has nothing to do with attraction. I will die on this hill.

Men who have nothing to offer but money are to blame. They help the woman out while the woman helps him out. Nothing wrong with it as long as both parties are honest.

If someone has a pattern of struggling with romantic relationships, there's a reason. I think they need to do some self-reflection and figure out why that is and how to fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 03:03 PM

Thank you for your insight. The sad reality of why this is so common is that in order to sustain relationships and sex, you have to have the ability to connect with people on a deep level. A lot of people on the spectrum inherently lack that. When I was young, I dated someone on the spectrum at a point in my life where I had low self esteem didn’t know what a good relationship was so I have some insight into this. During that relationship, there was such a lack of emotion, empathy and disconnect…

My comment wasn't meant to be snarky, I just didn't think this was a real movement. In all honestly, regardless of gender, everyone is worked to death for very little reward. I hope that changes in the coming years.

It makes no difference and is such a dumb myth. I've been treated like garbage by ugly men and treated like a queen by attractive men. I think this is a myth created by incels who say things like "WhY dO wOmEn Go FoR tHe ChAdS aNd LeAvE tHe NiCe GuYs BeHiNd".

If a man has a shit personality, is ugly, and has no worthwhile characteristics whatsoever, he needs to accept that he'll likely need to pay for women. It's not being a "gold digger" if the transactional relationship has a mutual understanding. That's what I meant.

I don't think Elon is a great example for this. Although he is a multi-billionaire, he seems to have a decent personality and is decently attractive. However, as harsh of a truth as it is, some men only have money to offer and nothing else.

For me it’s the opposite. I got my heart broken by ugly guys and now I’m looking to settle down with nice good looking guys. I like to have better standards now. Attractiveness doesn’t determine whether or not someone will fuck you over.
