Well, personally I find that it is possible to produce one's own "program" with pretty basic equipment + a computer (most smartphones could probably handle the whole job tbh) but you could literally spend unlimited monies gathering equiptment to make the "perfect" audio track. My point is that it doesn't even have to be a perfect "program" to work to your advantage. And to risk over-simplifying, how often do people make great realizations and have epiphanies about what's "really important" in life to only forget these things a few weeks later? Plenty of techniques for "programming" although the most effective is to shut off the TV and stay off Facebook and just relax or take a walk.
