A fail would be zero approaches. Don't beat yourself up too badly.

If you don't touch the woman all night then suddenly lean in for a kiss you are taking a massive risk because you have no idea how receptive she'll be to it. This is why it's scary. This is why you'll hear so much advice on this forum telling guys to kino (touch). If, throughout the night, the physical contact has been escalating (and reciprocated) she'll be far more receptive to you kissing her and you'll be far more confident about whether to kiss her. Plus I don't want to ruin what we have go…

A lot of guys need to improve their confidence in order to become successful with women, but this confidence doesn't come until after you are successful with women. It's a catch 22. A lot of seduction advice is basically teaching guys how to act like they are confident. If they get it right, they become successful with women and the confidence becomes real. You may have heard it referred to as "fake it till you make it". Sure, it will feel fake at first, but that's just you breaking out of the c…

If the guy is the type who'll beat up a woman over something like that then all the more reason to get security to get him away from her. She can call a taxi and have security walk her to it if she's worried.

Maybe you need to start with something a bit easier. Try starting conversations with people you aren't attracted to. Once this becomes easier start conversations with people you find vaguely attractive and so on. Think of it like weight training. You start off with a small weight and when it becomes easy you move on to a heavy weight.

I'm not planning to take it to "asshole" levels, just widening the gap between approval and disapproval. I think this is a sign of confidence, being able to tell someone that you don't like the way they are behaving shows a lot more strength of character than someone who dislikes someone but doesn't have the balls to say anything. With retrospect I've been doing more of this recently, but it wasn't till I read that text in Rustoof's post that it occurred to me what I was doing and why it was a g…

Basically asshole game artificially widens the difference between how well you treat the people you approve of (based on the rules of your frame). and how well you treat the people you disapprove of. Additionally you generally raise the standards of what you approve of. A very interesting post generally, but that bit in particular caught my eye. Obviously I'm friendly to people I approve of, but I'm fairly tolerant of the people I don't approve of too. I've just done this without thinking, but n…

Great post. Something I see a lot is guys trying to keep the conversation going to long. They'll start off well, but then slowly run out of things to say and the conversation will become more forced. This becomes very apparent to the girl and she realises that the guy is trying too hard and she loses interest. A far better approach is to quit while you're at the top. The conversation is still fresh, you're both having a great laugh and then you spot an old friend across the room (or some other e…

Just remembered something else that's important about cologne. It will react with your body's own scent. A cologne that smells good on someone else might smell like crap on you and vice versa. This reaction can take a while to kick in. Don't just spray the stuff on yourself and instantly take a sniff, the reaction won't have happened and there will be a lot of the alcohol in what you smell. Spray a sample on yourself and leave it on there for a while, go and do something else and then smell it l…

I'm pretty sensitive to smell and I really hate it when I encounter someone who seems to have poured the stuff on themselves.
/r/seduction11/02/11 10:09 PM
2

Here's a useful technique. Hold the bottle slightly above your head in front of you. Give it a squirt or two and watch the particles of scent drift down till they range from head to waist. Then walk forward through this thin cloud of scent. This gives you a very even and subtle distribution of scent. I think with cologne less is better because your body creates pheromones which will attract genetically compatible women. If your cologne is too strong then it will drown it out. It's better to have…

"Talk to everyone" is a common bit of advice. Approach anxiety doesn't just apply to hot women in nightclubs. Starting up a conversation with a stranger on a bus has some element of AA too. If get good at starting entertaining conversations with random people in everyday life then it will build confidence in your conversational ability. Think of it as practice for the real thing.

My advice is to shrug off any of her complaints like they aren't worth considering. Some great advice there. As a general rule of thumb, don't pull anything out at first that's too dirty/racist/mysogynistic/offensive. You have to try to be clever and witty without pushing the envelope too hard. Pushing the envelope too hard is a bad move because by overstepping the mark you are showing that you are socially clumsy and lack the ability to correctly read the situation. However it's great if you can sail very close to the wind and get away with it because that demonstrates finely …

Depends on the humour. You might hear the phrase cocky funny used a lot on this forum. It's when a guy has a laugh with the girl and isn't afraid to mock her because he's confident and isn't intimidated by her. Good humour is reactive, stuff that you make up on the spot that cracks everyone up and demonstrates you have a quick, clever mind and good social skills. There's also the painfully awkward loser reciting jokes to a girl in an effort to impress her. This kind of "humour" demonstrates noth…

I think part of it is how the guy does it. Some guys do nice stuff for their women, but they do it like they are trying to get her approval, like she is their superior. That's what sets off the alarm bells in a woman's subconscious. Some guys do nice stuff for their woman just because they are nice people. They are generally nice to everyone and their girlfriend is no exception. They aren't grovelling at her feet offering gifts in an attempt to please the goddess. :)

I think it's down to evolutionary psychology. Theoretically men can have hundreds of children by many different women, but women are severely limited as to how many offspring they can have so they are waaaay more selective about the quality of their mate. They want the best possible dna for their children and the perfect result is for her to catch and keep a man that is of higher status than herself. Sure, buying her chocolates, flowers and generally treating her like a princess will give her mo…

You can treat someone well without treating them like they are better than you. A good way to visualize it is consider the office kiss-ass who is constantly sucking up to the boss. They agree with everything the boss says and they go out of their way to please them at every opportunity. This is very flattering for the boss, but they come to see the ass-kisser as inferior and contempt sets in. That's some really useful advice. Luckily we live a fair distance apart so we won't be seeing each other that often, maybe once a month. Your idea of having multiple fwbs to ensure a fairly regular supply of sex is a tempting one. the key is communication, and if you start falling for her, or she you, you need to have that discussion right fucking then, to avoid people's feelings getting trampled. I've got a really high IQ, so I guess it would be good to pass that on, but when I see the huge amount of retarded chavs knocking out loads of kids while living on benefits it seems a pretty hopeless task. Currently laziness and stupidity are no barrier to reproductive success and I feel like the human race is getting more stupid as a result. I simply can't create enough kids to combat this. Maybe I should consider sperm donation as a way to get my dna out there into as many kids as possible.

I'm a tall guy and one thing I've noticed is that shorter guys do better in the gym. I went training with a guy who was about 12" shorter than me and we were doing similar weights. After a while he was rippling with muscle and I still looked like a wiry bastard. My advice is to use this to your advantage, go to the gym and get yourself a magnificent body to impress the women.

Personally I'd not chat up a girl at my gym. If it goes badly, then I'll still see her at the gym and it will be a distraction. If it goes well, then I'll still see her at the gym and it will be a distraction. Either way it messes up my training.

I'm tall (6'4"/1.93m) and most women are way shorter than me. I tend to keep myself in a comfortable upright position as much as possible. there was this beautiful girl who looked to be about 6'0, and I told her "WOW you are tall!" In my experience a lot of tall women have a bit of a complex about their height, best to avoid mentioning it. If a tall woman does bring the subject of her height up you are tall enough to tell her that you hadn't really noticed it. If she believes you then she will never feel uncomfortable about her height with you.

I tend to not want to hook up with drunk girls, at all. Very wise . I've had a similar occasion where I suddenly realized that the girl I was in bed with was actually way drunker than I had realized. Luckily this was before any penetration took place, but it still scared the shit out of me. "Nice guys" are normally guys who pretend to be a woman's friend when secretly they really want to have sex with them. I think the female counterpart to this is the woman who pretends she just wants casual sex when really she wants a relationship.
