1	Is it generally normal for people in your culture to talk to strangers? The English language itself gives a sense of freedom, because you don't have to think about how to address someone older than you for example. It's "you" no matter who you are speaking to. When a language have separate structure for formal and informal speak, then the culture itself becomes more formal in my opinion.
