I actually know this one. It's due to the word's association with other people's bodily functions.1 The more disgusted you are by them the less you like the word because it reminds you of situations where you were exposed to them (i.e. stuck next to a sweaty man/woman on the subway).

And it is somehow much much worse to call a woman a cunt than it is to call a man a dick. 30 Rock had an episode about it where the main character lamented that there "is no male equivelant of that word". There is, it's dick, it's just not as offensive for some reason.

Right. It's probably easier to exonerate people in rape cases where DNA is the central evidence. As opposed to, say, a robbery or something where they aren't leaving fluids everywhere.

Yes a boston professor. But she's a she and black so it would be racexist to get rid of her.

Yeah no kidding. "How can we prove him wrong and prove his opinion is sexist? I know! We'll do exactly what he was saying we do!" I think his opinion was sexist, but this reaction is way too far over the top. There was a better way to handle this.

How should she be allowed any time with her son? If the roles reversed the father would be in prison right now with no hope of custody.

A great response to this is to mention all the transgender men this person wants to massacre. How progressive of her. Murdering trans people because of their gender.

Some are. Not all, but some. But really prostitute=/=slave by default.

Both are horrible. It's not a competition.

My old school used to have a women's resource center. Now it's a gender resource center.

It would be nice if someone would tell him its not his fault for being the victim of a pedophile.

Honestly I don't really care. I think it should be done away with unless you are some loon who wants it done to yourself as an adult. But it's never really been an issue for me.

Yeah, it sucks that the judge said that but 17 is at the age of consent.

Its consensual at 17. Should she have? Probably not. Is it creepy? Yup. Is it illegal? Nope.

I get that a lot. I just said they can be dicks, not that other people acknowledge that they are.

Women can be dicks and men can be bitches though.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
