Hopefully the numbers of like-minded docs and nurses are growing. As a side note, my current boyfriend is my first uncircumcised partner, and while I was always very much against circumcision, being with him has given me a whole new perspective on exactly what circumcision is taking away. I'm sorry for your loss. :/

It hasn't yet come up for me in a professional (read: paid) patient situation because labor and delivery and maternity are specialties that I don't currently work in. I hate to break it to you, but the cellular structure of cervical tissue isn't markedly different from any other mucosal tissue in the human body. There's a reason you can get gonorrhea in your dick and your mouth. We're talking about strains of the human papilloma virus that cause cancer in the mucosal tissue that they infect; having a dick doesn't stop that.

That'd be valid if Planned Parenthood's bread and butter was abortions, but that's blatantly untrue. The vast majority of their business is birth control/OB-GYN/cancer screenings. It requires a reckless disregard for the massive benefits they offer for a wide scale attack on the organization.

Obviously a certain amount of personal responsibility is prerequisite for prosecution. If you choose to rely entirely on your partner to protect you then you accept the risk it entails, but if a woman lies about being on the pill AND sabotages her partners condoms, that's most definitely grounds for prosecution.
