I get that and it’s hella annoying. A good advice would be to cut down on the interview-like questions and go more playful like also suggested by another on this thread. For example, instead of rejecting her offer on your drink, you could’ve replied something like “are you trying to get me drunk?” Or “wait, how do I know you havent put something in that drink to take advantage of me later?”. But please remember to say it in a sarcastic/playful tone of voice, otherwise it could just come out weir…
