Realizing that you shouldn't care what others think because nobody is watching you or cares what you do is probably one of the biggest realizations that you can have. This quote from the movie "Synecdoche, New York" sums it up perfectly: "What was once before you - an exciting, mysterious future - is now behind you. Lived; understood; disappointing. You realize you are not special. You have struggled into existence, and are now slipping silently out of it. This is everyone's experience. Every si…

With that being said though I do agree that it's not for everyone. Too many people go to college just to go. If you're passionate about something that can be learned in trade school then it's a great option. But I think it's hard for an 18 year old to be that sure of a career at that point in their life.

Yeah but ultimately I think it's difficult to label it as blue pill or red pill because you can meet the feminist majoring in sociology and then you can meet the fraternity member majoring in finance. It's all about finding out what you believe in personally which I think everyone starts to figure out when they go to college.

Just having a degree makes a person more valuable. It's a fact. (Yes some degrees are much more valuable than others) Also being in college offers a ton of networking opportunities as well that are so easy to take advantage of. Just by being in a club and going to career fairs or events I had many interviews. I ended up having three different job offers when I graduated. Obviously you're not going to be friends forever with the friends you made in college, however just having a few good ones you…

Same with pretty much any business position.

You may have met a very small sample of people that go to college. However both professionally and socially going to college has a ton of advantages. Going to trade school isn't a bad option but you're pretty much limited to that career and you'll only meet a handful of people.

Great post, I definitely agree, I just graduated college and I am so grateful that I got most of my wild partying and debauchery out of the way by the time I was 22. No part of me is saying damn I wish I woulda partied or socialized more, instead my mindset is now more like "I had my fun, no more screwing around, now it's time to get to work" it's true that people either regret having too much fun or not working hard enough, but my biggest fear was always being the 27 year old trying to party li…

I mean that's true, however being a younger guy, (Early 20's) its hard for me to rationalize it. I see it as I'm not trying to have the time of my life in 40's. I know its short sighted thinking but to me and I think to almost everyone, nobody wants to be the rich 45 year old who hangs out at bars and clubs trying to slay slutty 20 year olds. (Lets be real any girl in her 20's that fucks a 40 year is a slut) Even if you are successful in doing so, that is not a fulfilling lifestyle. (Unless you'…

Yeah I'm thankful, the whole situation could've been much worse. I don't have an STD, I didn't wife this chick up and lose half of my net worth, and at the end of the day I'm 21 and learned the value of TRP at a young age

Yeah sending that text probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. But I don't like to keep things bottled up, and she had strung me along for too long in my opinion for me to just say cool and go on with my life like nothing happened. Yeah she might think I'm some emotional pussy but fuck it, I don't care what she thinks of me anymore. What she did was wrong and I wanted her to know that. Albeit maybe she doesn't care, (personally I think she does at least somewhat we were really good) but I thin…

I get it, sending that text probably wasn't the smartest thing to do. But I got my point across and I don't like keeping shit bottled up. She knows I bang other chicks somewhat regularly so it's not like she's the only one I get at. Anyways your right, I lost frame with this chick, I did choose not to use game anymore. But at the end of the day fuck it, I wasn't about to go the rest of my life having someone think it was ok to step all over me like that, I don't intend to ever get with this girl…

yeah we had been talking alot and had been really close friends for a while (alot of mutual friends as well) then we had sex, then i guess she wasnt feeling it, honestly i know i could never just be her friend which is why i just cut contact completely but it bugs me that shes so sad about it when shes the one that rejected me. lol yeah i definitely dont put her on a pedestal anymore but what do you mean by keep me on her team?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
