She didn't murder this man. I'm not saying it's a good enough reason, she should've used the police as retribution instead. Regardless, as rape would put someone in an emotionally damaged state, they may not act rationally. I understand and sympathize if she was truly raped in her sleep

If I were writing an article or we were in a court room, there wouldn't be reasonable evidence based on what we know in the article. If I needed to bet on what happened with a friend or on reddit, I'd bet that this dude raped this woman in her sleep. She didn't do the right thing, but I don't blame her. Rape does some pretty fucked up shit to people dude

I'm allowed to express an opinion on what I think happened. That doesn't mean that I think it's a fact. I was just saying that, if this woman really was raped in her sleep regularly, I wouldn't blame her for doing what she did. I have no idea whether or not it was true.

Let me get back to this after work. I understand how the justice system works, I'm a journalist starting my career with crime reporting. I think you misconstrued what I said. I'd also like to go through your post history Remindme! 12 hours

Look, we aren't sure what happened but if he was raping her while she was sleeping, I understand why she acted the way that she did.

I'm actually a woman. Also, based on the fact that the writer had quotes from this guy and there was no evidence of him denying the claim, im pretty sure it happened.

I can't condone what she did, but her husband was raping her while she was sleeping. I assume that they probably had a conversation about it but he ignored before hand. There was probably a reason that she couldn't get out of the relationship. It was shitty of her to do, but I need more information before I blamed her.

Why is it "pointless"? I'm not a red piller at all (I'm a female, and would be a "blue piller" if anything), but I understand why she's reacting that way. While it's immature, if she feels that there is an issue (which would've been a misunderstanding), it makes sense that she'd want to talk about it immediately. Asking directly for her faults, even in a silly "list" format, is her way of trying to fix the problem. Adding the things that OP likes about her is a way for her to verify that he does…

Not a frequenter of TRP, don't really agree with you all to be honest. Why is it wrong for OP's lady to also ask about the things that OP does like about her as well as the things he doesn't? This just serves as a reminder of why the couple IS together along with the reality of the constructive things, and a buffer against the assuredly painful latter list.

Can someone explain to me what "hamster" is? (Just to clarify to anyone going through my comment history, I do not endorse or support TRP at all)

He makes a good point regardless- minorities get charged more often for crimes across the board. No one likes assholes who tell people that "no one wants you on [their] sub". Keep doing you /u/offendedboner

While creep isn't gender specific, its connotation is usually very different (and more severe) when it is applied to men; it tends to specifically describe a man who has made a woman feel "lesser" by overstepping sexual boundaries.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
