Except when you try to file a criminal complaint and they laugh your ass right out of the station and refuse to investigate. Source: was assaulted pretty bad by a big woman in my teens, went to the police with broken glasses and bruises, police refused to press charges. She contacted police and said she did it because she felt intimidated. She hit me about a dozen times and all I did was turtle and run away. Police said I'd better leave before they press charges against me. Fuck this system.

I think we should look at this ass glass half full case. She set him up, police did an actual investigation and determined it was fabricated and she was charged. This is how false reports should be handled so that real ones can be taken seriously. On a side note though, maybe not all that smart to meet a complete stranger to fulfill a rape fantasy. Schools love power and they'll find any excuse to make themselves the authority. When I was a kid I got into a fight with another kid from school, at a park on a Saturday. On Monday his mother complained to the school and they tried to suspend me. My mother fought tooth and nail especially since her son attacked me.
