Or the baby grows up and learns their father put this message out in public.

Hol up! No they don’t! If your man is driving like a maniac - that’s not normal!!

Should FDS have a Vibrator Reviews thread? My friend just told me a bunch of stuff about new vibe technology that I literally knew nothing about.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/20 10:33 AM

Yeah, men would rarely dare to speak to me like that. My ex told me ‘women found him attractive all the time‘, but men who date me would just not dare to speak to me like that. I think it’s the look on my face. It says I know I don’t have to put up with that kind of shit.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/20 10:22 AM

Lol but - I spent enough time in gyms to know that most of those guys started training out of feeling inadequate. Then ego kicks in, and god forbid, steroid use. This crisis will show us all that surface things don’t really count for much. This will be about character.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/20 09:29 AM

Yep. I’ve told this one on here before, but it’s worth repeating. I met a great guy but my gut always told me not to go there. Eventually I found out that he had been to jail for murder. ALWAYS trust your gut!!

What happens next is he sends a bunch of signals that make it seem like he is a HVM, and gradually over time he turns it around and trains you to be convenient to him.

A man who gives you his number is lazy and doesn’t really care if he ever speaks to you again. Avoid!!

Yeah, I wonder if Mr No Kiss eats pussy. I doubt it.

Or eat your face ☹️

I never liked kissing much either - until I met a guy who was good at it!!! Most guys are absolutely terrible at kissing!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/20 04:54 AM

Yep, the tough times are when we see what people are really made of.

OMG that sounds horrendous and I feel for you! I’ve been sexually harassed, gone through the whole reporting process, independent investigation, and then... nothing. I really hope you get some fair treatment, but... just get out of the toxic environment if you can. Get another job - or take any deal they offer you in terms of a new position or hush money!! The chance of you winning is small, the chance of you becoming demoralised is high. Cut your losses and move to a place where you are treated…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/20 04:38 AM

Never treat a man like a child. No-one wins.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/03/20 04:30 AM

This is entirely accurate!!

OMG my alarm bells are ringing.

Yep, I had a missed call from a guy I haven’t seen for over 10 years. He’s single because he’s rich and selfish. Good luck with that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/20 10:19 PM

He is off his head.

Lord ain’t that the truth.

Good for you. Your ex husband sounds like trash. You’re already lifting yourself up. They sound gross, tbh.

All the Tonys I’ve ever met have been creeps.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/20 12:23 PM

I had a call from an old ex. I didn’t answer and he didn’t leave a message. Just a lame attempt at finding some comfort for himself during this weird time.

OMFG
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/20 12:06 PM

My ex once shouted at me that he only rented a house BECAUSE I WANTED ONE.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/20 12:01 PM

I agree. I basically don’t smile or make eye contact with anyone because men read it as an opening to try to get something off me. Attention, money, a disgusting joke, whatever.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/03/20 11:31 AM

I know exactly what you mean! I would like to see a post on women managing social conversations for men. Yet more unpaid social and emotional labour.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 11:06 PM

My ex monstered me for months, then posted a bunch of anti-domestic violence stuff on his social media. Image management.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 11:00 PM

And... gloves. Srsly, need to bring those back.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 10:14 AM

Ask yourself - do I really want to risk being stuck with this man 24/7 for 2 weeks or more?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 08:54 AM
53

Yes, but seriously - why are they so gross? I am educated, I have studied people and society... but why do the majority of men live like pigs??
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 08:53 AM
5

My undiagnosed, mentally ill father had 5 children. My unmedicated ex has 4 children. They use children to trap women into caring for them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 03:44 AM
6

That bears repeating - ‘love’ can’t cure mental illness.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 03:38 AM
13

Lol - I’m off antidepressants and the sleeping tablets, now that I’m single.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/03/20 03:33 AM

I’ve never seen any appeal to OLD - it’s just the same lame ass dudes you see in bars and supermarkets. Meh.

Yep, LVMs are predictable as hell.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/20 09:49 AM

I agree. OP needs a facemask beauty moment more than she needs this needy confused dude taking up space in her brain.

Let them stew in their own juice.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/20 09:45 AM

I am sympathetic to her. She’s confused because his behaviour doesn’t make sense. She thinks their in a relationship. He doesn’t give a shit.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/20 09:37 AM

I understand that, but redirect your generosity to the appropriate people - kids, your family, and YOURSELF.

OMG the men whose financial plan is to get inheritances.

I haven’t heard the term mantrum before - but gee I’ve seen a lot of them. Thanks for that word!

Same for me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/03/20 10:36 AM

Me too! He ‘forgot’ your birthday!?! He is utterly unworthy of you. He’s not even a friend, and he has zero capacity to provide anything beneficial. Choosing better for yourself is powerful. Go OP!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/03/20 04:28 AM

Spot on. Men’s expectation that women are entertainment gives me RAGE!! Do not do it for free!

Yes men really do think women are a single creature with hive mind.

Based on on the chat logs my ex husband left open on my laptop, I find this believable.

Y’all ain’t doing nothing wrong - except picking bad partners. All women can come. It’s not rocket science, it’s not brain surgery, it’s animal nature. If you can come by yourself you can come with a partner. It’s not a performance, it’s your life.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/03/20 09:55 AM

I remember being young and not wanting to ‘hurt someone’s feelings’. This is heavily socialised onto little girls, and it needs to stop because it exposes young girls and women to being exploited in countless ways. You may have to work pretty hard to learn how to stand up for yourself, and you WILL be criticised for it. But it is totally worth it, and could absolutely save your life.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/20 12:52 PM
7

OMG please don’t feel bad about that! A normal person could never foresee that abnormal people could behave like that. I know what it is like to have a male humiliate you at a young and tender age. It’s not you - it’s them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/20 11:42 AM

I have not heard of that reference before, but I totally felt this before I left my ex. I would like to see a post on this topic.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/03/20 11:48 AM

I can’t wait to hear his concocted ‘reasons’ for lying to you about the rent. I’m guessing maybe: “I wanted to surprise you with a holiday / dream honeymoon / puppy / investment of some kind. I did it for us.” Or: “Poor me, I was ashamed to tell you someone else took financial advantage of helpless me and I didn’t know what to do, please comfort me.” Or: “I thought it was fair, because I bought you all those coffees / sodas / car miles driving you places and those things add up. Why are you bein…

What a dick.

Yep, triangulation is the red flag gift that keeps on giving. It’s basically men putting women against each other for their own gain and I would LOVE to see more women learn more about identifying it. It’s toxic AF!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/03/20 08:40 AM

Some days I just think that men have just lost all their self-respect.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/03/20 04:13 AM

I worked in motorsports and high maintenance sports cars have plenty of dedicated male fans amongst those who can afford it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/03/20 03:44 AM

My spidey senses tell me he certainly does have a diagnosed mental illness and was shocked that you had picked it immediately.

I have definitely had men derail my fitness. My mental & physical health greatly declined during my last toxic relationship, and I won’t feel like I have fully recovered until I am back to where I was before I met him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/03/20 03:39 AM
15

It happened to me too. We got engaged and moved in together about a month later. The sex stopped the day we moved in together. And the mistreatments started. I was so confused by the bizarre change in his behaviour but we got married anyway. The day we got back from our honeymoon, he left his emails to another woman open - on my computer. He was a truly psychologically sick person, never violent, but clearly filled with hate.

I’m older and grew up during the spread of HIV and the publicizing of condoms to protect against it. I really can’t believe that the younger generation are resisting using them. Seriously, it’s just a no-brainer to me.

Wow, looking back - coffee date men DO have bad social skills. I went on two coffee dates with memorably odd guys. They were both nerdy, and not my looks match. Yikes!

I second the Bingo card suggestion. All those in favour?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/02/20 06:28 AM

I am also proud of OP.

I second this. It’s IMPORTANT.

The mention of undoing in the first point hits me hard. My ex did that. It’s such an insult to my efforts.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/02/20 07:39 PM

I met one guy once and his behaviour was so bizarre I never did again. Now it looks to me like the only people who benefit from dating apps are the companies who run dating apps. Be safe out there ladies!

Do report stalking to the police, but don’t expect them to do much about it. It mostly happens to women between the ages of 15 and 27 years old.

I for one was legitimately surprised that such a retro concept got a run. I was not surprised when I read that the creator of the show concept was accused of abuse by his wife. I will look for a link to the news item about that...

I love that show!!!

Quite possibly has a woman already. So if you just ‘happen to be in his area’ and come see him, and ‘something happens’, it wouldn’t be his fault, it would be yours.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/20 08:59 PM

John probably has experienced a lot of drama and hysterics from women, because only an unstable person would willingly get involved with a self-confessed prick.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/20 11:41 AM
17

Well spotted. My ex-husband had enrolled and dropped out of three different universities. He didn’t have the self-discipline to learn anything, and honestly he was just... uneducated. His parents paid for everything.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/20 11:35 AM
51

My ex also did a 180 turn. I went from the desirable girlfriend to the ball-and-chain on the FIRST NIGHT.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/02/20 10:52 AM
30

You are absolutely right. My ex husband broke his arm when I was away and did not go to the hospital for over 24 hours. His arm was ballooning, purple, and moving sideways. Would you trust that man with a child, your emotional well-being, or your financial future?? Yeah, don’t.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 09:18 AM

This is me. I never want to do this again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 09:10 AM

Don’t give men gifts. They buy everything they want for themselves. Weed, video games, booze, whatever.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/02/20 08:37 AM
3

He may do it to other women as well.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 03:43 PM

Yep, it is the modern equivalent of calling OP a witch.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 02:39 PM
7

‘Closure’ was probably him explaining everything about her that wasn’t good enough for him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 02:14 PM
9

A guy gave me a lovely item a few years back. When I found out he was seeing other women, I realised that he had received it from one of them, and re-gifted it to me. He had made a speech to me about how “when he saw it, he thought of me”.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 02:03 PM
3

I doubt that it has great value to him. But ditch it if you think he might use it to manipulate you. Toss a coin and decide, don’t put too much energy into it, or him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 01:58 PM
3

Wow. I recognise a female acquaintance in this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/02/20 01:28 PM

Check out the recent post on Triangulation for more details on this kind of behaviour. It’s the psychological term for playing two women off against each other. I’m so happy that women are wising up to this bullshit.

Please learn how to celebrate and enjoy holidays for yourself, because YOU DESERVE IT!

I am also enjoying the lack of suffering. ❤️

You know, I’ve basically had this day, and I look back and I barely even know just how I got there. I tried to be ‘good’, I tried to be ‘nice’, and I just ended up exhausted, undermined and unhappy. Men don’t respect self-sacrifice. Don’t do it. There is actually, literally, nothing in it for you. Just poor health and a lack of respect from within and without. Stay strong!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy15/02/20 01:41 PM
9

I’ve had a few men tell me I need to communicate better. I just point out that I have a degree in communications.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/20 10:40 AM
9

You may be right about him being passive aggressive. My ex-husband was passive aggressive, and it is some seriously twisted shit. I’d like to see a post on it as a topic actually.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/02/20 10:37 AM
6

After my divorce I realised that all my life, I’d dated selfish men, because my father was so selfish, it was what I expected. It’s very hard to shake. I’m single now and well, things are going pretty good!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 08:53 AM
13

I believe in warning other women. They may or may not heed it, but silence doesn’t serve us, it serves abusive men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 08:45 AM
14

100%. It’s the same mentality as a boy punching you in the arm because he likes you and wants your attention. He’s at child level in communication. I’d never bother speaking to him again.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 08:42 AM
7

You make a really good point here, that nastiness is his zone. Yikes.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 08:37 AM
27

Yep, they are raised to see women as a resource to be harvested.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/02/20 07:51 AM

You do need to put yourself first enough to get plenty of sleep, and prioritise time to take care of your health and your appearance. I let all these things go during my last relationship, and I regret it! Don’t burn yourself out taking care of a man-child!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/02/20 07:15 AM
5

Will there be a Valentine’s Day thread??
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 09:23 PM
3

He will.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 11:30 AM
7

Yep, valuing yourself cuts out 99% of men, because they are losers that you don’t want.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 10:56 AM
10

The safest bet is to ignore him and go and get yourself tested. Then you can sidestep any possible drama he might try to direct at you, and you’ll also protect your own health. Then use condoms every time for evermore, and chalk it down to learning a lesson! Also talk to your sensible friends and female family members. You don’t have to worry about this stuff alone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/02/20 10:53 AM
16

I am just shocked and appalled. Who TF thinks it is ok to speak like this? Can he hear himself talking? He is now literally a joke on the internet.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/02/20 08:44 AM
16

Less dishes. There it is ladies. The summation of the depth of male appreciation of you as a person. This is why I am single.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 09:13 PM
6

He sounds like hard work. Give him a break and pursue other interests for a month or two. If he doesn’t pursue you, you don’t want him. Get yourself free for other opportunities.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/02/20 09:07 PM

Can confirm, have worked in motorsports and there is nothing men wouldn’t do for their favourite shiny toys. Expensive purchase? Yep! Expensive upgrades? Yep! Running costs? Yep! New purpose-built equipment to shelter and transport them? Yep! Travel? Competition costs? Hours spent cleaning and maintaining them? YEP YEP YEP! There is nothing men won’t do for their sports cars, motorcycles, etc. So look after yourself before you look after a man. You can see what a man values by where he puts his …
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/20 07:54 AM
23

It’s insulting. If he can’t identify his emotions or... feel them, I doubt he’s worth persevering with. Men feel love. He just doesn’t have it for OP. She should do herself a favour and move on. He doesn’t deserve her time and attention. Bah!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/02/20 07:44 AM

And they say romance is dead.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/02/20 10:42 AM

Dirt bag!! NOPE NOPE NOPE!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/01/20 12:08 PM
25

Absolutely this!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/01/20 06:27 AM
8

Absolutely agree. I’ve seen men spend money on drugs and toys long enough to know that this is 100% true. They spend on what is important to their self-image and ego. That’s who they are.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/01/20 09:15 AM
4

Don’t feel bad about your past or upbringing - it honestly all sounds pretty normal. Neglect, abuse, bullying - all normal and common things. They shouldn’t be, but they are, so never feel alone or different. I am sorry you miss your boyfriend so much. He might have missed his moment with you. There’s a common belief that partners can hold a career back, and I am not convinced that it’s true.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/01/20 08:08 PM

Yep, all chefs are crazy. They never get a weekend, and they are angry.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/01/20 10:14 PM

Sometimes in life I ask myself “What would a man do (in this situation)?” It gives me a different perspective, without all the layers of self-sacrifice and concern for other people and values that are socialised onto women from birth. The answer is usually a variation of “don’t worry about it, you’re still the best thing ever”.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 01:27 PM

A male hippy friend of mine went to cuddle parties. He lived in a very hippy town though.

Get massages if you can afford them. And pumping iron burns a lot of edgy energy off.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 01:11 PM

Yep. If they are really motivated, they will ask you out and make a grand gesture. If they have personal issues or insecurities, or complicating factors such as long distance relationships, wives, S.T.I.s, etc, they aren’t ready and you don’t want them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 12:48 PM

Hello I am living a lame old-person version of this right now. Just keeping records may not be enough to get rid of this fucker. These guys literally have nothing better to do. I really suggest you talk to sensible trustworthy friends and family about this guy and research stalking behaviour. I really want you to be safe and learn how to make these idiots leave you alone.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 12:08 PM

I’m betting he is taking another woman out on a date. Don’t contact him, see what happens.

100% this. You don’t want this guy.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/01/20 08:18 AM

Also obesity was rare in the 1990s. And women’s fashion had not been ‘pornified’. People didn’t send nudes, or even take selfies. The camera phone has created a ton of anguish.

Men framed me as a dominatrix from when I was about 16 because I am tall and was punky looking. So-called ‘submissive’ men can be just as objectifying and oppressive to a young female.

In theory I agree but - when I was in my teens and twenties my libido was something fierce. So I do sympathise with all the women out there that just want to satisfy their human needs, and cannot find one decent man who is up to the task.

This is absolutely sexual harassment. I suggest you show it to whoever is in charge of the environment you’re in with this guy. Sadly, they may or may not back you up, but I still recommend at least trying to take action, in order to better learn how to get action on sexual harassment. Seriously, I’ve seen some shit, but no man in his right mind could think this is appropriate. I’m not surprised to hear that you didn’t know what to say. The guy clearly needs to have appropriate behaviour explain…

Quick story. When I was at college I met a nice, slightly older guy there. He liked me, but I never had a ‘green light’ feeling with him. I got to know him very well, and eventually he confided in me that he had done jail time for murder. It was ‘an accident’. He was smart, good looking and had his shit together. He had been in the military when he was young and later got into bad shit. Served time, did a deal, got into college where I met him. Last I heard he had completed a PhD and was success…
