Perhaps men just think they are losing out when in reality the playing field has been made more equal. Wut, in order to get custody as a man you have to overcome social and legal obstacles that are almost impossible to take. Yeah, if you'd be a stay-at-home father, your chances of custody would greatly improve, but try to find a woman that a) lets you stay at home while she makes the money and b) makes enough money so you all together can live a good life. Good luck on that. I would like to be a…

That's the theory. Just look around in this sub, you'll find that this is rarely the practice. Men have pretty much no chance to get custody in most countries, but they can be easily forced to pay a lot without being able to take a big part in a child's life or even see it at all. So, often the only responsibility for men is to pay, without any chance to turn the stick around. That's not fair at all.

If a woman wants control over her reproduction, she can take the pill/other methods. If she doesn't do so, what happens after is her own fault. Nope, she can still abort. Or not abort and force the father to pay for it while giving him (almost) no share in his kids life. So either you make women take the same consequences as men, which means no abortion at all (at least without consent of the real father), or you have to give men the same opportunity to opt out like women do when they get an abo…

Exception: When the woman fails (on purpose or on accident) to inform the father of the pregnancy, then it's automatically assumed that he opted out and every support he offers is voluntarily and can be cancelled anytime (with some exceptions to the "anytime" at cancelling if there is a reasonable expectation/promise that he would pay for some time, like: "I'll send you 200$ a month until you find a new job [requirement: she has to be actively looking for one]").

Source? And how should that work? They'd have to give him the antidote, right? Let's assume that is the case, my counter-strategy would be to take something that only reacts to the antidote so you notice when someone is tricking you into taking it (like a reaction that makes your pee blue or something).

Going through pregnancy vs. having to pay for (almost) the rest of your life a fuckton of money and therefore having to pretty much enslave yourself in order to get that much money and still be able to live a somewhat decent life, with a good chance that one day she will just leave you and take the kids while you have to continue paying while hardly being part of your children's life. Yeah, where can I sign in for the pregnancy part? I don't wanna say that pregnancy is an easy thing or that it d…

Someone in that thread mentions a big Askreddit thread that was about this, has someone the link to it?

There's a certain bathroom(s) at my (extremely feminist) uni that I sometimes use that's very small (both the men and women bathroom). There's often a line standing outside the women's bathroom and it occurred to me twice that while I was in the (men's, naturally) bathroom, a woman would walk in and use one of "our" stalls because she didn't want to wait in line for the women's bathroom or go to the next bathroom (a minute away). I have no problem with this (if any, she's the poor one as the men…

To which I'd reply "if you really love me you'd want me to have equal peace of mind and the same rights" and "what if the child get's sick and needs a transplant and I can't donate because it turns out I'm not the father? If we find it out right after the birth, you can stay in touch with the real father so you always have a potential donator when something happens to your child. Think of the child! A good mother would want to know who's the father." Emotional bullshitting works both way. If she…

You get two q-tips and containers for them (or hair or something like that), that you can send in to a company that get's them tested. It's more like when you buy a download license for a game. By buying these test kits you get the right to send them two samples and they'll check them in their lab and send you the results. (afaik) If I'm going to get married, I'll set up a marriage contract that will contain as the first point: DNA test after every birth. I want the same security that the child …

We have to consider some things here. First of all, this self-defense claims come from the one's that killed their husbands. Well, that's not a too reliable source, pretty much anyone would claim things like that to get out of jail, etc. Remember, they had a trial, and they were convicted of murder. Considering that the justice system is very often in favor of women, there's a good chance that they really aren't the victims they claim to be, which would be point two. Third, let's not forget that…

I was thinking of getting a quote engraved in the iPad I'm about to order. So I was looking for the best quotes, and Ayn Rand has awesome ones. Well, except for the ones about economics, I don't share her opinion on that. I'm actually thinking of building a time machine to travel back in time and getting her to marry me.

Except for her view on economics I really love her.

Here's the Wikiquote page about Ayn Rand I was looking at (link is at the bottom). The organization that published this document is the Independent Women's Forum (IWF). They may be a bit too conservative for some here, but I think they do a great job. They have well written articles, are up to date and I like their style.

Ok, I thought with criticism section you meant the discussion page. If it was really juvenile stuff and not real criticism, it was (of course) justified.

I have removed a lot of bias Not knowing what exactly you changed, but it sounds to me that you ensured the bias of the article, rather than removing it.

Well, in many articles there is a criticism section, so why not post the criticism there? Having an article without criticism is biased bullshit and disqualifies itself. Naturally, the criticism has to be justified (which shouldn't be that hard).

Just because others do things that are wrong and stupid doesn't mean we should do the same. As I said in another comment here: The sentence is good to illustrate the stupidity of feminist claims in discussion, but is nothing we should run around yelling.
/r/MensRights18/09/12 05:43 PM

Well, as women can also rape, they are also all potential rapists. And murderers. And kidnappers. And next Hitlers. And... The list is infinite. It's just useless to make any of these sentences. I acknowledge that you sentence has it's worth in showing people that ride the "all men are (potential) rapists."-train how stupid and useless this is, but apart from that, I don't think we should go down on such a low level. We have arguments and facts.
/r/MensRights18/09/12 01:54 PM

That's like saying that all men are (potential) rapists. It adds nothing to a discussion and tells nothing about an individual person.

We don't know if it's a fake case (yet). Also, "DNA in condom doesn't match" is (technically) incorrect. Your whole title is very suggestive and imo not appropriate.

As someone who's not from the US, can someone please explain to me what exactly selective service is?

Yeah, but by now, after thousands of generations, this is also about 0 percent. That was a really long time ago. That raises a question: It's totally plausible/absolutely likely, but do we know for sure that the people that left Africa back then were black? Or could it be that they were yellow/red/white/something in between and the people that stayed back in Africa turned black later?

Awesome. I can not thank you enough for this! I often have arguments with people about "the" gender wage gap, this is great to show them how stupid and misleading these raw gaps are.

I'm sorry to hear what you've been through in your early life. It always saddens me when the people closest to someone, that should help and protect you, hurt you the most. Every child deserves good, caring parents.

If women say no when they don't want to they're strong and independent. If men say no when they don't want to they're oppressive. Just the usual feminist double standard. + Lots of men are evil and oppressive. Need to go puke.

That's definitely not the impression I got from them. There were some controversies, and they sure done something wrong (like banning a serious discussant), but I don't think any one of these claimed to be a feminist, or at least not a feminist of the kind of style that most of us reject.

Now you're being exactly as those who implied that a serious MGTOW is misogynous. We should stop that name calling on both sides and start discussing again. This isn't /r/kindergarten(which is actually about helping non-German speakers to improve their German, but everyone knows what I mean), get serious again.

I've read many of her comments and links, and I feel so too. She's definitely a good person and does a great job, even if some of us don't agree with her on everything. I like /r/LadyMRAs, and it's discussions and I will continue to do so.

Why is a serial false accuser even taken seriously without checking very accurately if there's anything behind her claim? And why do such people get away with it? They should go to jail for a long time. False accusal is disgusting, it ruins lives.

I just want to point out that there is a huge difference: While you need to be one of the best to get in a top 100 list, there's no such requirement for politics or management. Don't get me wrong, i am in almost any cases against quotas, but sometimes a quota can be necessary, but definitely not such a high one, and not in these two sectors, since women already have proven that they can be great politicians and managers, the reason that there are so few are manifold, but a quota would be just un…
