Should you lift and be in great shape? YES. Should you read in a way that hones your intellect? YES. However, those two are just the baseline. There may be only one reality (and infinite fantasies) but that reality is complex as fuck. Anything worthwhile is going to take you years of study and trial and error. That's just to map out the activity properly so that you can operate effectively. That's a really hard process already. Never mind the social aspects. Most people aren't willing to go …

You've hit the nail on the head. I think the art is less important than knowing how to absorb shots. Because when that first clean punch cracks you on the chin and you weren't ready for it, you'll panic. Everyone does. Learning to keep yourself in strong positions during a fight is key to staying composed. From there you can do whatever you want to the guy. Unless you're brawling with Deontay Wilder, the guy won't hit that hard.

She sounds like any other woman over 30 trying to lock down a baby daddy and start a family. The fact that you can't see this nor see where that road leads means you're a dead man walking. I read elsewhere that she earns a fair amount more than you, yes? And she's been very upfront about wanting kids soon? She's desperate. And with you, she's scraping the bottom of the barrel. That's really harsh to say but I think it's true. Women who want kids go after the man who can best provide for them. Th…

Jeez she's really playing it safe. Yeah sure, she sounds great. I say propose as soon as possible and get to raising a beautiful family. You'll experience domestic bliss in no time.

Did she tell you she wanted kids before, during, or after you stuck it in her butt?

"I want to carry on jerking off to her pics but my ego won't let me admit that to myself, what do?"

It's about proving that you're past your blue pilled ways? Not the strong feelings you still clearly have for her? Listen, it's possible to have a lighthearted flirting sesh with her. If you can treat her like just another girl. I think you've got a long way to go before you could do that. Ignore her.

Speaking softly is fine if it's natural to you. Speaking timidly is an issue, one without a clear solution. The confidence with which you speak is a symptom of your self perceived value. You could try and fake that value, or you could build yourself into a more valuable person. The former is surface level, the latter is the permanent fix. Of course, the issue could be systemic underestimation of your value. That's pretty common for young guys who are headed in the right direction. In which case …

What about this article by Venkatesh Rao? (long read warning) It tackles the breakdown of external domain boundaries in post-modern society and how that affects one's journey to mastery. Rao advocates abandoning external frames of reference in favour of internal navigation systems. External references are becoming less useful by the minute, that's a premise that this community is built on. Some are still intact, but most have become a shambolic satire of what they once were.

The greatest irony is that if she was in there with the same dude mauling her boyfriend, she wouldn't last a minute.

I'd recommend pouring over the original Dunning-Kruger study. There's A LOT of useful information in it concerning the delusions of the unexceptional. You'll need your thinking cap handy to apply the info to your life, but if you're introverted, intuitive, and perceiving it'll be a breeze. Essentially, everyone walks through their lives thinking of themselves as a bit above average. This is true from the blithering idiots all the way to the exceptional. Which means you can't trust the way people…

That's a very thought provoking piece, as anything involving Zizek often is. Thank you for linking it. However, what do you think of Buddhism proper as espoused by Evola in The Doctrine of Awakening? He too trivialises the religious and ethical tenets of Buddhism, but for very different reasons. Evola wrote that ancient Buddhism (based on the Pali cannon) offered a sure and direct path to pure spirituality for an aristocratic soul. He contrasts it to the plebeian Judeo-Christian faiths based on …

I've tried both Supple Leopard and Relax into Stretch, but I got better results from the latter. They were pretty instantaneous too, which leads me to think Tsatsouline might be on to something with his central thesis. I'd recommend anyone to check out the book if they haven't. The writing style is very down to earth, although he tries a bit too hard with the Russian lingo at times. In fact, I just found a pdf of the book online so you don't need to pay anything. Also, there's a Youtube video of…
