3	Why is there so much misandry in society nowadays? Particularly in pop culture and social media? A few reasons: 1) If men are all bad and the reasons for all bad things, then women automatically get off the hook and have to take no responsibility; 2) Feminism has become (perhaps always has been) a brand. 9	The gap between men and women in universities is worse than it was in the 1950's, except it favours women. If this meant that the 1950's was a "Patriarchy", exactly at what point do we get to say that we're living in a "Martiarchy" that's just as bad or worse? During a State of the University address to the faculty, the president (male) of the university discussed the decreasing number of male students and their lagging overall performance. 7	Boys in my class were given less food than girls to show the unfairness of the "wage gap" on International Womens Day If this happened in the U.S., this seems like it could be a violation of Title IX which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities.
