I also know of women with very high libidos (in their 20’s and 30’s) the thing is that there’s no men advertising that they cant get it up or that they just don’t like sex that much, the others would ridicule them …

Idk man, I’m a women and I have friends (also women) going through dead bedrooms, when I read the female perspective on that sub sounds very obviously female and similar to what my friends go through. There’s lots of men out there who cant get it up, either because of physical or psychological reasons, others are just plain asexual. Not all men are the sex machines you guys think you are in here, and many women out there love sex. Also, men don’t automatically get vilified in that subreddit, if …

Op, go check r/deadbedrooms there is just as many married women complaining about their husbands losing their libido as there is men. This is NOT a women thing only , I would even dare to say it’s 50/50 , is just that women are more embarrassed to talk about it.

I would say being spontaneous it’s what does it for me. Like planning activities that are not just going for food. Of course I would also suggest things but the guy gotta match my vibe too! I also like memes and people that can laugh about any situation, like turning an awkward moment into a funny joke and etc.

As a woman who wants to have kids one day, one of my biggest insecurities is that my husband will cheat on me when I gain pregnancy weight, I know how bad I can look if I’m fat and it just freaks me out. I am conventionally attractive, my body could be more fit but my face is what get’s guys attention, I do care about how I look but I feel like my sense of self worth comes from a combination of things. I used to care more about my looks then I got better looking and now I feel like it’s whatever…

Omg this happened to me, one of my friends sets me up with this guy who looks ok , I guess (I wasn’t excited but wasn’t opposed either). We went on a “date” where all he did was talk about his family trauma and how he is taking anti-depressants and how his dad is to blame for all his issues and when the time to pay came, we go dutch and then he asked me for cash because he wanted to leave a tip and didn’t have any.... Edit: I just realized after commenting this that some people thinks a good man…

Can’t really offer advice but can relate to a certain extent since my “polyamorous” narcissistic ex likes to proudly say he is a feminist, human rights activist and what not when all he likes is to have a constant rotation of women every so many months, makes them all his “girlfriends” , love bombs after 1 month, psychologically abuses women to an extreme, turning each one into a crazy mess and then after enough sex, he gets bored and dumps (And I still feel resentful with myself for falling for…

I had an ex who had a lot of family problems, we were both in our early 20’s and still living at home with our parents while going to college in order to save up as much as we could. The problem with him was that his mom was incredibly manipulative and psychologically abussive. Our relationship was long distance and I remember that the last 4 months of our relationship were based of my ex calling me everyday to express his depression to me and usually cry. He couldn’t handle the psychological ab…

I guess I should’ve said “would feel more free” because although I know I’m free to do whatever I want, I’m not 100% sure if I’m ok with the outcome/reaction from others if I always do whatever I want. IMO sometimes you have to play the game stablished by society to advance in life, not everyone is as brave or as capable to just say fuck it and live in their own terms always, specially when you live in a 3rd world country (which is my case).

This is a gem! I’m still so brainwashed with some lib beliefs that I feel a little guilty/sex negative for agreeing with basically everything you said!

I feel this deeply! Beauty is a tool and if you know how to use it you can get ahead of a lot of other women (sadly but true). What you said about not connecting with normies but still being an ornament omgggg that’s meeeee lol I’m sorry for being extra but I just relate to this so much.

I’m one of those who grew to like it cause it was expected from me and I agree that a lot of time and effort in my life is being put into looking good. I’m happy cause now I like it and don’t see it as a chore but I understand women who feel frustrated by it and have a hard time trying to fit this standards. We’d be more free if we didn’t have all this expectations.

I do think beauty is kinda performative for me, the whole style, hair and make up thing is a performance that is expected from me BUT I enjoy it. When I was a kid/teenager I was definitely a fat ugly duckling and it really took a toll on my self-steem, I dreamed about being pretty and it felt unachievable till I hit my 20’s, lost weight and acne, found a style that works with ny body and personality and learned about make up. Now I’m one of those girls who wakes up 40 min earlier just to choose …

As a woman I will say that I agree on the sentiment! If done respectfully and with confidence I feel very flattered by being approached :)

I don’t think I fake anything. Just don’t pursue men, I’m pretty sure they know I’m outgoing as soon as we talk right away.

Thanks for the advice :) I’ll do the “I know this is awkward...” I feel like if I say that first it works better. I also think they are worried I’m just trying to get free dinner or something like that (my ex told me he thought I was gonna rob him, because I was a pretty girl asking him out) but tbh I just work on my phone and computer all day, I don’t enjoy texting that much anymore I get bored. Anyways the psychology part is right and that’s why I’ve been more softer and use clear hints.

I approach men and I’ve been rejected, so it burns a little but I go past it quickly. I also think I look good and I know I am attractive. Some men do see you as easy when you approach and they love the chase. Is not all men but a lot of men do. I’ve told guys from apps to meet up like the second time we text because I just get bored of texting and they get puzzled about it and disappear, I imagine that in their head is like “why was this so easy?” So now if I really like someone I only throw hi…

This is the perfect first date. One time a guy took me to a path were there were a bunch of flowers and we walked around the path in front of a lake and sm*ked weed (we both enjoy smoking, which was discussed before meeting) afterwards we had a bottle of cheap wine and pizza. This was 2 years ago and that was my best first date ever.

In my personal opinion, I let people know on my bio that I actually want to meet up but I always let guys talk to me first because I feel like men enjoy the “chasing”. I’ve come to the conclusion that they value me more if they are the ones to open up the conversation. When I open conversations (most of the times, there are exemptions) men tend to be a lot more dry and don’t even try much, I think they feel like “if she opened up it means she is more desperate than me” so I rather just wait for …

It does happen to me often, but I think that a lot of men just like a lot of women, are into these Apps for the ego boost and to “see” what’s out there but not really trying to meet anyone. There are also guys who suck at opening up a conversation and you can just tell they are bad at talking to new people.

As a woman: I agree. Okay so I’m not the type to be flashy but sometimes I myself see some of my friends being EXTRA sexual on social media and it’s like you go girl! Be sexy, you look great, but don’t display double standards when it comes to the attention you get cause you will get all types of attention, wanted or unwanted and no amount of complaining and “feminist” discourse is gonna change this, because you could get undesirable attention from lesbians too ... so yeah. You do you but we awa…

This makes a lot of sense, idk why a lot of short girls obsess so much about having huge guys

Could ask the same thing. I’m pretty tall for a woman (5’11”) and although unlike shorter girls, I give shorter guys a chance but what I don’t understand is massive guys (6’1” and above) with these really small girls , I’m talking 4’8” - 5’1” girls. Don’t get me wrong, I just don’t understand this?? Why do you want to be with a girl that will literally cause you back pain to kiss..?

I’ve been in 2 LTR and the only one who got cheated on was me.... uh, did you miss the point of all I said? But also, I really never been with a guy that asks me “how many people have you slept with” like it has never been a thing... sigh trust me man, I don’t even want a relationship atm, I’m fine, I’m off the “game” now, I’ve got a lot other stuff to work on really. I just wanted to give my insight on this, I understand it bothered you but at least now you know no one is a saint... people tell…

Go off man, project your hate towards women on to me. I really don‘t care. Believe it or not, I‘m not a cheater, the fact that I had some ONS one summer doesn‘t make me less of a person. And I don’t understand the “plus size” comment really lol. Anyways, let me go back to “snaging” decent guys and shit, you know, cause that’s my purpose in life apparently ....

Thank you and yeah cheating sucks and it really broke something in me to the point that I felt like I just couldn’t believe in men and that I should just “play the game”. But I’m a lot better now and I know there are plenty of great guys out there.

tbh idk, I don’t know why I did it, I feel like it was a combination of low self-steem with going through a very lonely moment after a long time relationship that ended pretty bad and I probably had a lot of red flags that nobody saw. I understand you wouldn‘t date a girl like me, everyone has their “standards” but I feel like you would also never know about this , you can’t see it in me and I don’t talk about it. I’m not flashy, I’m pretty reserved, I have a good job and a degree and most peopl…

Hi. I‘m a girl that went through a ”hoe“ phase one summer and did a few ONS. I had gotten through a break up that was caused by me being cheated on and my ex telling me that it was because ”I wasn‘t taking care pf my appearance anymore“. I needed lots of validation after that, I f*cked a lot of chads but also lots of ”average“ guys (I was pretty open to whoever could make me laugh and take me to dinner, not proud about this) what I got out of this was: 1) Validation and 2) some type of mitigatio…
