Wow. I've started fetishizing worse looking women than my girlfriend as well, just because its something different. Very interesting. Starting to wonder if I'm just not into monogamy because I have no complaints about my girl. She spoils me rotten and objectively I think she's gorgeous.

I can relate with this. I have a pretty high sex drive and like sex once a day, but my girlfriend needs it at least twice a day and pushes for even more than that. I honestly believe she would have sex all day if she could. We've done it as much as 7 times in one day and she still wanted more. At first its great, but it actually becomes pretty annoying.

Definitely BJJ. It's like playing chess with your body. You also don't have to get hit in the face repeatedly.

Not drinking is respectable. But like it or not, it will damage your social life. You will miss out on girls who would feel so much more comfortable if you would just take a shot with them. It's an unfortunate reality, but it shouldn't dictate how you choose to live your life. You need to make the decision of whether or not you're okay with that.

In hindsight, I agree with this- thanks for the feedback

While I understand that this is something to think about, I agree with /u/Vandaalen that asking for documentation when she hasn't given any vindictive red flags seems over the top. However, I do appreciate you holding me accountable for my willingness to upgrade her from a plate so soon. Upon reflection I think I am making that judgement call a bit prematurely as my only real reasoning was that she's the hottest girl I've banged and I enjoyed not only her body, but her personality and feminine e…

Fair enough, you might be correct with underlying oneitis developing. I'll keep an eye on that and make a point of pursuing other women. I have no problem continuing to initiate low commitment hangouts with the explicit purpose of fucking. How long would you recommend I wait until I try again?

Fair enough, I agree with these responses

Forgive me if I'm misinterpreting your post. But while I do sympathize with your disappointment in women who aren't loyal, it strikes me as slightly hypocritical to complain about that while we sit here spinning plates.

Notice the body language of the white knight after Helen tears apart his argument for the second time in a row. At 2:40 the hand subconsciously moves to his mouth as if to take back the words he said. This was entertaining.

When I referenced scamming I was primarily speaking about what is referred to as the "white man's tax". You will routinely pay 300-400% more than what locals pay even after you bargain down, simply because of your skin color and perceived wealth. Tuk tuk drivers are also notorious for charging exorbitant amounts if you don't negotiate a price with them before getting in or insist on finding a driver who uses a meter. But in reality, everything is so cheap by our standards that it's not that big …

They've got issues of their own (i.e. societal caste system)

My understanding is that because there are so many regional languages, English actually serves as the lingua franca. So language barrier shouldn't be too much of an issue. Bathrooms will certainly be... different (to put it nicely). I would recommend wikitravel as a resource. Many people cite food contamination as one of the most frustrating elements of their trip. Other challenges are poverty / beggars / petty crime, noise pollution, (lack of) sanitation, and population density. I've heard Indi…

I like this suggestion. A trip to India isn't going to solve all your problems, but it sure as hell is going to shake up your expectations and perspective on life. I think all of us should be seeking to change up our environment from time to time to improve our adaptability. India is the equivalent of getting a defibrillator shock to the heart. It is frequently touted among travel junkies as one of the most challenging destinations in the world, not because it is unsafe but because it is just so…
