TofuTofu, I logged in just to thank you for this post. I am at work now and can't stay around though. Cheers

Would you consider explaining what parts do not make sense, or is your preference to spout swear words like a teenager? I deal with logic everyday and I am very successful at my day job, so if I am making a logical mistake I would appreciate being informed so specifically, since my livelihood depends on my ability to reason.

I can't tell if you're trying to make a funny but the delivery was untasteful given that you're likely insulting one of the few girls on this forum. I'm sorry minervaxox, but maybe you should stay away from this subreddit since it seems to be full of angsty, rude guys like akiraus. Akiraus - would you ever say that to a girl in person? Go ahead and downvote. I will stick up for a sensible, respectable woman any day over a horde of angry keyboard jockeys. You can pretty much take your points and …

Check. I will read it later at some point. I am new here and just realized why all my posts are being downvoted. You are a mod.

This is a socially awkward male dominated forum so I won't get the support I deserve when I say this, but I don't think you give women (or people in general) enough credit in terms of their intelligence and their personal understanding of their own emotions. A conversation is an experiment. It does not normally tend to generate data that is statistically analyzed, but it does generate data whether you realize and stick it in a database or text file somewhere or not. If you just said Social Scien…

Not most of the advice I've seen so far. A small amount, maybe 10-20% seems decent to me. I never said there were people on here who are not successful with women. Regarding your point, I think the best advice here is better than the advice from your average woman. But definitely not the average advice here. I am going to stop this argument here, since it sounds like its coming down to semantics and a definition of what is average and what is not, and this will become hard to prove.

Not trying to be a White Knight here, but as an example to AFC's reading this, this is a terrible attitude to have. You are bitter about not getting laid and you rationalize it by implying that woman only try to use men for material purposes. You can not bring this attitude to the table. Also, you have the numbers 69 in your user name which makes you look creepy.

I agree. I just thought we were talking about averages, yet you are using outliers in your examples. You are also insecure, if you need to boast about having sex online. =P

Haha okay. Check, on both points. You're welcome =)

Yes, TofuTofu, I believe that the Average man here will learn more from talking to the Average Woman Out There than they will from a month of reading books and this subreddit. Everything is theory until you try to practice it, and learning how to master any craft is learning how the practice differs from the theory. If you're are only getting responses like the ones you listed above, you haven't asked deep-enough questions. Describe to me Confidence. Define Sincere. Give me an example. Let me gi…

I would say it depends on the situation. Some couples may be more open to open relationships. Some are not and would be devastated if their SO cheated. I try not to devastate peoples personal lives so I stay away from those types, but the other types are game. You can generalize in general, but when it comes down to a specific situation, relying on a generalization will only get you average returns. I think one of the biggest problems I see in this subreddit is over-generalization.

I like it. I noticed that you describe out-gaming AMOG's but everything from this post suggests that you are one yourself (even if you don't realize it). Maybe you're not the douchey regular that frequents this area, but you are a shark swimming with sharks. If you don't do this that often then it looks like you had a good night. You are smart and played strategy well and more people should read this.

I think she may be genuinely interested in what goes through the minds of an AFC Edit Edit: instead of linking him to this post - may I suggest linking him to this subreddit in general?

He's super shy. But sounds like a nice guy and knows how to tuna sandwich. Know plenty like this. He has a good attitude if every time you turned around he was smiling. Okay guys, have fun ^ What do you want us to do? Critique your observations? Offer him suggestions? Offer you suggestions? ^ Is there a guide for woman who want to pick up AFC's? I'm bored so I will go over your points. 1.) Yes. 2.) Yes. 3.) Yes. 4.) Yes. 5.) Ye Oh jesus, its Yes all the way down. These guys shouldn't be reading …

Okay then - here's what I suggest. Do not text her for at least 7-8 days. If she was feeling insecure after meeting you initially, but you were generally being a good sport, after 3 or 4 days, she will start to doubt any initial bad vibes she got from you (especially if those vibes are a result of her insecurity and not real creepy vibes that you are letting out). By not texting her, you are signaling that her lack of response will result in a lack of interaction and that you may be losing inter…

A good point to bring away from this is that being assertive and learning about yourself is good for your life overall. Everything is connected - what you study, your upbringing, your work life, your social life. We are biologically programmed to want to procreate and if we cannot achieve this we are unhappy. I like to look at it less through the lens of trying to seduce everyone you meet and more through the perspective that you should always be as useful as you can to those around you. Thats m…

Good job. Heres one tip: You don't need to be outwardly hostile to the AMOG. In this case it may have worked. It may also be a matter of style, and given your look, it may have helped. My preference is to win an AMOG over personally, and then cut him off in a more subtle manner.

There are so many possible approaches here. Ask her how she likes the class. She will complain it is difficult. Ask her what she is having trouble with. Try and get her to be specific enough that you can start explaining the problem. Oh integrals? easy they are like this... From here the conversation could naturally go towards establishing a time for a study session. You can volunteer this, "I normally study at the library between n and n hours..." etc. Talk about something not related to the cl…

Sounds like she is shy if you couldn't establish any chem at all. If she is slightly reserved I am guessing you said/did something that she didn't like (offended a political/social stance of hers, acted too cocky, etc), and she expressed her feelings in more subtle ways that you did not pick up. Going out on a limb here, but I think that some of the more reserved types are more weary of guys who are trying to take advantage of them and she may have seen this situation as being a manifestation of…

There is a reason why we like anonymity in some circles. Having photo's exposed, especially on a subreddit like this could impact our professional/night lives. However, I do think it would be acceptable and interesting to ask for a photo of a famous person whom you most closely resemble, followed by a description of your style.
