It’s not manipulative to post a picture of yourself on social media. I’m sorry but it’s not and that is an argument of the insecure. Would you think of it the same way if the woman’s partner was in the picture?

Well I think OP is mixing playing games with having game. How would you personally differentiate between playing games and having game. OP is referring to playing games. This meaning “dread game” which is head games.

From a woman’s perspective, they don’t usually say “I’m gonna wear this outfit to get back at my boyfriend” they wear whatever they want because they want to. Some women do and those women are the ones that enjoy a weird power dynamic. They can do whatever. But to assume every woman wants to be controlled Is ludicrous For a specific example, I had dated someone that user “dread game” because I was younger than him and he assumed I was going after whatever options when I was the one constantly re…

You’re literally saying that it’s good to manipulate women and basically train them like a dog to do what you want. I have no clue where you got your last point because my whole argument was against controlling men. Your argument doesn’t make sense at all. You can always delete this it’s not too late

I really don’t think it is... maybe because I mostly have listened to TRP dudes on YouTube?

“Dread game” is the reason I ended my last relationship. It is meant to target someone’s insecurities to try to establish control over someone. If you care about someone you don’t try to make them insecure.

Wouldn’t these “tests” just be done in response to men’s “game”? I feel like this whole playing games thing is just men shooting themselves in the foot. Real question here. Has any of this PUA “game” actually helped you? If so how?

I mean I’ve talked to guys that we’re honest about wanting just a hook up, I told them it wasn’t what I was interested and that I respected their honesty and we both moved forward. Do you know how many people are actually out there looking for something casual? Especially when (Atleast in my country) there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel. There’s a way to go about anything. If you’re crass in the way you say it of course they’re not going to respect the way you say you’re just looki…

The thing is there’s a difference between treating like someone like a human being and just being platonic and trying for a romantic connection or whatever else in that scope. Just like men don’t like assuming women don’t like assuming. If you are hell bent on approaching then try something other than just friendly but not full on creep. You need any advice my messages are open

Thing is, there are also plenty of men that teach women the same thing. I don’t think mind games are really gendered. I have dated men and women that play mind games and try to make me “guess” what’s going on in their head like a mind reader. We should be promoting honesty and open communication instead of head games and dishonesty

That’s true, but too many people confuse them

“Women like men who they think have options and are in abundance” honestly from my perspective a lot of times women want to be with men who have their own lives and shit going for them. From the men I’ve talked to they are the same way. It’s the whole “what do you bring to the table” thing. People want to be with people that have their own thing going for them.

What do you mean passive? Who are you referring to as passive?

What terminology would you use for an average looking to slightly below average looking dude, with a decent level of charisma, honest, compassionate and has a sense of humility Because I’m pretty sure this is what most women would take over an overzealous, pompous, arrogant “alpha” any day

Dude straight up said “I don’t care if it’s dehumanizing” huh? You shouldn’t be trying to be treating anyone in a way that is dehumanizing. I understand that it makes men very anxious to approach women, I do. But there is a basic way of treating people. It’s just a common decency thing. What responses are you getting that make you want to play games and lie (in the way OP puts it)

Considering where this whole terminology came from I am confused as to where you’re sourcing these terms from. Every RP man has referenced this study Atleast in the online forums. This is where a majority of RP people have gotten these terms from in terms of human interaction

Fighting fire with fire does nothing but burn down the city. I personally try to set the example for people I interact with by opening with honesty. If you’re an honest person and people don’t like your honesty then leave. Eventually you acquire a bullshit meter for liars and can weave through them with ease. This wasn’t really a critique. Miss me w that bs

You know what I don’t understand from the men in this comment section? How they assume the next woman is going to be the same as the last. If I came in here saying “all men are going to cheat on me because my ex did! I’m going to cheat first!” There would be so many men up my ass about how much of a shitty person I am But y’all think it’s ok to toy around with people? To lie? To manipulate? To misrepresent yourself? It’s fake at best and psychotic at worst. Don’t project your shit onto the perso…

“You don’t get to say shit about what we have to do to get the girl” basically translates to “I don’t care if you like it I am going to treat you however I want” This isn’t a good approach with anyone no matter if it’s romantic or platonic. A little empathy goes a long way

As a woman I just want someone who will laugh at my shitty jokes and then respond with their own. Wtf is an alpha? The guy who did the whole “alpha beta” study on wolves retracted his research because he realized the “alphas” were just parents nurturing their offspring. This whole terminology thing is stupid. I do agree with you on the whole game thing though. Nobody wants to be toyed with.
