A lot of places, at least where I'm from cute is just a better word for attractive. So I don't really mind getting called cute all the time...

You're still entirely missing the point. Of course you can have discussions without absolute proof. Just stop banging on about your RP pseudoscientific bullshit and claiming it's factual.

Exactly it seems to suggest. That is what everyone should and would be saying in an intelligent discussion, however everyone else here is like 'dis is proof males r diffrent frm feeemales'.

That's not my premise. You're completely missing the point. Perhaps a little difficult to understand for non academics but you can't just read something in a study and state it as fact and apply it to everyone/thing.

Yeah that's not how it works. If one guy argues the earth is flat and there's no rebuttal then credibility would also be in his favour.

On the other hand, arguing with you is pointless if you are really that ignorant. ELI5 for you. Science changes all the time, theories which were accepted by everyone have been disproved and this will continue. Furthermore, every single piece of research has its flaws and thus should be taken with a pinch of salt rather than accepted as 'hard facts'.

One study is not hard facts, nor is even a 1000 studies. If there's one thing i'm sick of from RP, it's this pseudo-intellectual shit. I would bet most of you don't even know how to read a paper properly, let alone critically analyse it. This is evidenced by your use of the term 'hard fatcs'. In this instance especially, there is no such thing. While it is possible either viewpoint may be true don't assume one thing is because you read it on a website with science in the title.

Ahaha Nice save. Not sure if you looked at my link there but maybe have another quick read, specifically the part about being based on a few people. Your RP theories are backed up by extremely poor research at best. These 'theories' are lacking in evidence to back them and are based on, wait for it, generalisations. Yay.

Yes! Only one study? That's terrible! As a biologist I do tend to distrust psychological research somewhat. Human nature doesn't generally allow for proper controls, bias etc. That being said you should take all research with a pinch of salt, rather than 'solid troof'. Your comment highlights a poor understanding of what research means. Just because a scientist said it doesn't necessarily mean it's true for everyone/thing or even true at all.

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/generalization 'a general statement : a statement about a group of people or things that is based on only a few people or things in that group' alternatively: 'the act or process of forming opinions that are based on a small amount of information'

I was reading this thread the other day about differences between the pills and you guys said blue pill was bad for extreme generalisations....

Well post some links that are actually worthwhile reading. Critiquing and attacking are entirely different things. Naturally, feminism is open to criticism. It has it's flaws of course it does, like everything else BUT that's not what you are doing. The mainstream, hahah. Yet again you cherry pick quotes to confirm your TRP warped beliefs. The extremes of feminism may seem a little more mainstream than they are because of an extreme vocal minority. Most feminists want equal rights for all and un…

Is critical thinking beyond you? Hurr durr MIT professor says something so it must be true. You just cherry picked articles which confirm your beliefs. I also acknowledged that feminism has extremists which you ignored. Men are not oppressed and the only people who think they are are ignorant manchildren. You are the reason women need feminism.

You say as if that's the only way to deal with that situation. Not everyone is a fucking lonely neckbeard. In general if you're not socially retarded a shitty love life/loneliness isn't that hard to deal with. It's not offensive, it's just ridiculous that anyone has to follow a script. That's just pretending to be someone else to get what you want. Yawn, toxic feminism isn't even a thing. Extreme feminists exist of course but the same goes for any movement including your own.

Jesus fuck this is like some scientology level shit. It's not a snapshot, he's married, committed to someone for the rest of his life. You guys are like children unable to deal with adversity wanting everything to go your way, sometimes that shit happens, that's life. Oh 'but it doesn't have to be like' that comes the reply, not if you're RP. Get fucked, bad shit happens to everyone. Some of you guys seem to think fucking a bunch of emotionally unstable girls is better than having a dry spell. A…

As opposed to your 'high' standards of trying to fuck everyone you meet. Success is subjective, i think it's you that doesn't get it. RP is so binary, either your beta as fuck or alpha, RP and successful or BP and a failure. I'm 99.99% sure this guy doesn't give a fuck that you think he's not been successful. That's what you guys don't seem to get. Life and dating especially is much more fluid than you think, alpha and beta isn't a thing. This whole macho red pill shit is just a manifestation of…

You're basically telling other people they're unhappy. You have no idea. I hate this whole enlightened bullshit you guys as if RP is the only way to be happy and have decent relationships. Even for the '80%' of guys who aren't considered attractive, there are a plethora of other ways to get what you want from dating (w/o being a beta, whatever that is). Success and happiness mean different things to different people of course but RP is not the only way to achieve even your apparent level of this…

I couldn't care less. All I am saying is being a man does not entitle you to attractive woman. 1st page in not being a cunt 101. You clearly are an immature, misogynist asshole and you are so self-absorbed you don't seem to understand that a lot of women just might not be interested in you. Also i'm a guy. hahahahah

Even though you might be fat/ugly as fuck yourself. Like I said that's the problem, just being a man doesn't automatically qualify you to get attractive women. You have to have something to offer. Being an entitled douche doesn't really help.

So you think as a man you are automatically entitled to 'attractive women'? That's the problem and so many people like you don't see it.

You cannot be that stupid? Holy fuck. Crime ridden people? Are you fucking serious? Away back and sit on the sofa on your lawn.

Aw it's okay guys, spokesperson for all women here. Women don't want to go into those fields! Yup, if it wasn't for all that goshdarn sexism, newton would have just magically grown a vagina. I just finished a degree in biology, the split was about about 60:40 in favour of females. The ratio is similar for most universities. If there is so many women, then why is there so few publishing papers in this field? Oh wait, incidents like this one: http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk/news/sexist-peer-…

It is extremely hard to go on without resorting to flat out insulting you. How your thinking can be so warped is beyond me. Women are under-represented in these fields and thus is appears that 'men are 99% of the intellectual movers and shakers'. Furthermore, rampant sexism, which has existed within academia for many years has led to women not being given due credit for their discoveries.

No, please do not talk about science when you haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about. Look up Marie Curie, Rosalind Franklin to start, there's more if you care to look. For all we know, woman may well have been responsible for more inventions/scientific discoveries than they have been given credit for but sexism, such as that shown by yourself, has prevented them from receiving any recognition.
