The Long Walk came out with in the last literal year. There are issues to discuss centered on this issue. It is a disservice to all to be disingenuous about it. Be better. ETA: You specified boys, which the movie I referenced changed to late teen and early 20's young men. I looked up some more options for you. How to Train Your Dragon (the live action) Elio Karate Kid: Legends Animal Farm (important for EVERYONE!) Fearless

For the record, they are stopping automatic bot banning only. Mods will still be able to manually ban you for activity in other subs (I believe). They just can't fully automate the process. I foresee a bot generating lists of users from 'forbidden' subs, and then mods manually banning those users.

Full context of the quote helps. He is saying that you need to take care of your responsibilities before you was the money on non-essentials. That a selfish mentality ruins a healthy relationship. I understand that pain can drive us to be blind. We have a duty to handle these things better, or else we continue to look like a joke, or worse.

Bruv, reread the article. You go hard with cherry picking for an article that is focused on helping young men and bogs. As it should be! If he just spent the article talking about 'girls bad, feminism bad' then it would have been hateful garbage. Focus on the uplift!

u/gurleyman30, congratulations on being with your children. I do not want to diminish that with what I say next. Thank you, I am totally straling your ratio idea. I have been trying to think of one to represent my children and yours is simply brilliant. Thank you sir for being amazing. Edit: Fixed to congratulate/thank correct person

As a Christian, I have come to realize this line is one of the most negative things to happen to a church. It is exactly the purpose of a Sunday morning sermon/lesson. Those aren't outreach tools designed to save souls. They are tools to build up the faithful. In the same vein, this is exactly the group who needs to hear and think about this. There are some posts that, if they aren't anti-woman, seem very much like it.

I think that translates to: don't demonize the wrong group.

Ah. I read the opposite intent in your words. My apologies good person.

I reread the article you linked to. It describes an unsettling trend in a region of the world that is even more steeped in a culture of xenophobia, sexism, sexualization, and other unequivocally awful behaviors. Often to a degree that most western countries can not approach. You posted this in response to a link to a picture of older woman who are queued up to see a move targeted toward young teenagers, and has several sexualized young men in its cast. (Are all these women there for those young …

Your point is what exactly? That because men do this thing or because an incredibly sexist nation does this thing, that it excuses or mitigates the behavior of women who do it?

Unrelated, but I hope this post was made by your throwaway account. Otherwise you just lost the ability to post in most of the subs that are "feminist."

Wait.... You helped author this paper? Can you give a brief, laymen translation of key points (both pre- and post- study, expectations vs. outcomes kind of thing). I don't feel as if I am particularly unintelligent, but reading full research papers and experiment reports hurt my head.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
