School districts are a little different in Canada. They generally encompass the entire city. Mine was within 30 minutes. So she moved 30 minutes away. Then when she moved next it was 25 from there. Then she moved 25 minutes from there. After threatening court she moved back within the 30 minute window. I’m planning to move within walking distance in the next year. This. My ex was poisoning my very young daughter against me. I don’t think she is a bad mother but her hatred for me was clouding her judgment. I had it out with her that it was also her responsibility as a good parent to ensure her daughter was not traumatized for the first 30-90 minutes after I picked her up because she “missed” her mother.
