In your view which is better time for young women, 1980s or 2017? For young men?

You know that saying "people climb up water flows down" or something like that. People are drawn to things they have a natural capability for, like water flowing high to low. Women in general stay away from STEM because logical thinking feels alien to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/17 05:48 PM
1

No, they should work harder to overcome inferior logical reasoning, less mental capability and higher emotional handicap.

That's exactly the reason why there are much fewer female CEOs, scientists, inventers, architects, even top chefs. Women will fill positions just like less capable men, as long as there are unfilled spots.

Lol, I'm only friends with attached women these days now that I'm married. But back to my single days, I don't think I ever maintained a friendship with a woman when my attraction wasn't reciprocated no matter how attractive she was. I had too much self respect for that shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/17 03:32 AM

When a woman is strongly attracted to a man there are generally three types of indications, or variations of them: Demeanor: act shy, avoid eye contact, submissive posture Proximity: she will try to get close to you, accidentally bump into you and follow you around Attention: she will do things to draw your attention to her, like bend over in front of you to show her butts. I have no doubt EVERY woman acts in one of these ways in front of someone she's attracted to, no exception. The husband is …

Why is it odd? She doesn't want to have sex with me why? Because she doesn't think I'm good enough for her. Why would I hang out with anyone who thinks that way, men or women? I never chased a girl ever in my life and would never be someone's orbitor. Worked out OK so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 11:30 PM

Yes. Not a comfortable situation for anyone involved.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/17 11:24 PM

Projection? I wouldn't hang out with a girl who wouldn't have sex with me. That's literally an insult. I wouldn't even be friends with a girl I'm attracted to before we have sex. We can be friends later after sex.

I have seen numerous times when an unattractive husband helplessly mate guarded the wife in front of an attractive man. The wife was obviously attracted. It's utterly pathetic and vomit inducing. It's no one's fault. You can't negotiate attraction. But believe me you don't want to be one of those husbands.

What if the characteristics of men that cause women's negative experiences are inherent in being a man? Men are programmed to spread his seeds far and wide, for instance. I'm sure that's one major cause of women's negative experiences. We all know women hate that, and by definition they hate men. Why sugar coat it? And why should we give up being a man just because women don't like it?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/17 03:17 PM

I think it certainly will. You pay someone to give you sex and be nice to you. If you do it enough times you will fell much less anxiety around women. I think it's a major issue for a lot of guys, I bet even more than looks.

Did I mention incentives? People have few kids because there are fewer incentives to do so, such as lesser need to have a larger family to provide for old age, or women delay having babies because of their careers, or any number of other reasons, all of them based on considerations for their own benefits, ie, for SELFISH reasons. Keep telling the same thing to yourself over and over doesn't make it any truer. Simply because your hamster cannot handle it doesn't make it less real. You can keep pu…

You think all the women having babies because they were afraid of the fate of our specie? Seriously? I guess you were sleeping in your economics 101 classes. People do things for selfish reasons, whether it's working at a job, buying a house or having babies. Collectively it's for the common good, provided sound incentives are in place. It applies to capitalist societies as well as our specie as a whole. The incentive here is the genetic programming. Women want babies because their genes tell th…

OP just needs to get laid or at least make some female friends. Seriously though, nothing I have seen so far is wrong but how can you learn anything about people without face to face interactions? People can say whatever on the Internet, like you try to play stock market by paper trading. It's good practice but can never replace the real thing. Worse, it can give you a false sense of knowledge which has little use in the real world. To the topic, pedestalization results from scarce mentality, wh…

I cannot imagine a girl like that would change her self image so dramatically simply because she received 100 messages a day from men online. Whatever you do online is only a 2D representation of you. It's ultimately how you interact IRL that counts. Low quality women may get some temporary ego boost online but the world will be crashing down when their dates see the fat asses.

Do we need any further proof that women don't know what they want? Given two guys, one attractive one not so much, if there is no major red flag going up for the attractive one, I'd bet most of women would go for him, then rationalize "he has a better personality" or "he makes me laugh" or "he has less pointy elbows". Women would rationalize anything to convince herself she's a good person, she's not shallow, etc etc. It's the survival instinct for the female gender. Otherwise the cognitive diss…

They refuse to settle mostly because it's easier for them to have a happy single life than men. Sex drive is a bitch. Most of people have a roughly accurate sense of self-worth, men or women. BTW, your math is off. The percentage of attractive men making $50k+ is between 0 and 10% based on your assumption, depending on the overlap between the two populations, not 2.5%.

I agree 100%. Validation from the opposite sex is like psychological oxygen, it boosts your self confidence, your mood and spirit. It's especially important to men since sex plays the most important role in men's life. If you can consistently achieve this, you will feel the ultimate sense of freedom. You're no longer trapped by any particular woman's whim, you're free to do anything you see fit without fearing repercussion from women. Together with financial freedom they are the foundation of a …

The fact that I could find another woman in a week if my wife ever cheated on me doesn't make me less angry with her. This is not about abundance mentality or lack of. It's about the breach of trust. In my experience, high value men pair off with high value women in their early 20s, both with low n count. I really don't consider a player or anyone who sleep around, man or woman, as high value. They may be physically attractive but not necessarily high value.

Believe me, most guys would get bored when it was a sea of 10s around them, even if they don't get sex often. It's in our blood to explore and experiment, whether it's about our environment or our gene pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/17 03:24 PM

Turn this around and ask yourself: what if all women became 10 for you, would you still be attracted to any of them? I would probably get really bored and try hard to find an uglier one, you know, being different can be beautiful.

/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/17 06:45 PM

That's in your eyes. The only difference between sexes as far as attractiveness goes is due to their sex drives. If you made women as horny as men they would find men as attractive as you would women.

I dated down almost in every aspect that's important: looks, intelligence, education, etc. So I have all the power in the relationship. But it turned out to be not a good thing. Everything needs a balance, that's what I have learned.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/17 06:33 PM

Dating down for a man would be to date someone less attractive than him, not someone of lower status, which is dating down for women.

That's a good question, a profound one that is. I do think no matter how advanced our civilization becomes, the biological underpinning is inescapable. It's ultimately not gynocentrism or other -isms. It's men's drive to propagate genes with fertile females that propels human race forward. I suspect all the great empires, breakthrough discoveries, ingenious inventions, musical masterpieces or any other human achievements throughout history had their main characters pining for some females' affec…

I have to say you're a typical woman. When you have nothing logical to say you just muddle the water. Bye.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/17 06:13 PM
1

Let me show you some logic. When a woman has a high n count what does it mean? It means either HE doesn't want to commit to her or SHE has commitment problems. Tell me which one proves she's a high quality woman? If it proves anything it shows she's a trashy woman. Only a retard cannot see this or some crazy who has a warped world view.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/17 06:00 PM
1

You're just making things up to prove your point. Yes high value men marry early to high quality women who by definition have low or zero n count.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/17 05:46 PM
1

Bullshit. High value men don't want to have anything to do with sluts because why should they? There are always some nice and chaste girls around the corner who would like them back. Even if sex is the only thing on his mind he doesn't have to do garbage diving.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/17 05:32 PM

I have very low standards for women nowadays. How about just being agreeable? Not in the sense that you agree with me all the time but just keep on open mind and be able to entertain a different view point than your own. I bet majority of women here would fail miserably.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/17 03:48 PM
10

What a fucked up question this is? If we were still living in a primitive society, yes men would kill each other for women. But now women are the choosers. Why would a man blame other men for being chosen instead of blaming the choosers?

I saw a new book at bookstore the other day many on this sub may find interesting: The evolution of beauty by Yale Ornithologist Richard Prum. I only flipped through the book, but the conclusion from the book seems to be the validation of little known theory of Darwin: aesthetic mate choice, or "the taste of beautiful". Darwin proposed that choosing a mate for the mere pleasure of it creates an independent engine of evolutionary change. The author reached the conclusion by observing the dizzying…

It's not a stable relationship for HIM. If and when there is a better option coming along she would "lose attraction for him", she would cheat and eventually leave him. Many a time the woman stays with the man not because she isn't tempted, but because of circumstances such as logistics of cheating. For this kind of relationship to last the man needs to have much more to offer such as money and status. It all comes down to the fact that an average woman has a lot more options than an average man…

A lot of men are already weary of instability, irationality and bitchiness of women in their lives when growing up, so why take on more risks? I don't know how representative of general female population average Reddit women are. But look at all the condescension, the jeering and mocking the women here dispense toward men, is it hard to understand why most men avoid any potential crazies like plague?

Women are attracted to feminine features on a guy's face, such as a pair of big round feminine eyes. Don't know why but my guess is feminine guys are less intimidating for one. Women are also attracted by other women to certain degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/17 01:33 AM

I bet he's just short and unattractive. I have seen white women drool over Asian men (if you're curious see my post history). I don't think women are racist per se. They usually exclude certain ethnicities because those people are less attractive on average. As a result there are negative stereotypes associated with them. Women wouldn't go out of their way seeking these men but they can be attracted to individuals.

Ultimately RP is coping mechanism for guys having trouble with women. Although I agree with much of what RP has to say, especially about female nature, they have trouble freeing themselves from putting women on pedestal. Men think with their dicks and permanently succumb to female sexual power. It's a grand design by nature to ensure survival of our specie.

Older women get PISSED when men of her age group go after younger women. Women feel threatened by anything and everything that diminishes their sexual power over men. At the same time they think they're defending other women's rights. Why do you think older men going after younger women is such a shameful thing to do when women are only interested in attractive men? Aren't they all people's preferences, like height or weight?

Remember the time the Chinese knockoffs were flooding the world market, Nike and other brand names were outraged? Why were they so concerned if they knew the knockoffs were inferior? It was about their own price and market share of course. It's the same in SMP. Sex when readily available decreases the bargaining power and market share (number of men who would potentially commit to her) of an average woman, dramatically I would argue. The need for social approval is certainly feminine. Just look at the social media. Also to many women what kind of man they're dating is heavily influenced by how their girlfriends think about him. Women's survival instinct dominates all other traits for apparent evolutionary reasons. I have seen women go to extreme length to protect against some miniscule probability events. Their self reliance and manipulative nature are all derived from that instinct. Men care less about survival and more about bravado and that makes them disposable.

Dog/cat analogy is spot on. Dogs are aggressive and straightforward. What you see is what you get. Cats are lurking in the shadow, calculating and manipulative. When they fight, cats usually win in the end not through strength but cunning.

There is a thing called reality, you know the one outside reddit. Also this is Purple, not TRP. I haven't seen any comments like that in here. Or you just had a shitty childhood.

I know from personal experience as well as from research, play hard to get work well for men. But you have to be attractive to start with. Yes women love the emotional thrill from attractive men.

Women are already aggressive, when an attactive man is present. You can sense the strong urge she has to get his attention, to be close to him, to get his genes. It's a primal drive that's out of her control. Women are no less aggressive when shutting down an unattractive man's advance, with swiftness and cruelty.

Throughout the history only hardship and struggle bring out the best of humanity. People transcend circumstances out of need not want. Simply looking at obesity epidemic you will see what future holds. It'll be stassis and stagnation if not outright plunge into darkness.

This woman totally gets it: Most men just want a woman who's nice. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/05/11/most-men-just-want-woman-whos-nice.html The gender roles have existed for thousands of years for a reason. I'm fine with people having the freedom to choose whatever works for them. But wholesale denial of traditional gender role is a crime aginst humanity.

I wouldn't enter relationship with a woman who wants to change me into something SHE prefers. What kind of shitty deal is that? This whole thread is a reflection of our current misandristic and gynocentric society where men need to be changed for women's convenience.

think that everyone THINK about themselves as breeding stock is creepy That word in capital letters is where you get it wrong. No normal person would THINK like that. But do you know 95% of your brain activities is beyond your consciousness? http://www.simplifyinginterfaces.com/2008/08/01/95-percent-of-brain-activity-is-beyond-our-conscious-awareness/ So where do you think these subconscious brain activities get their food from? Out of thin air?

Biologically the only thing the female sex needs from male is his genes. Everything else is secondary. So only indications of good genes matter to visceral female attractions. Status, money, social skills, etc are all social constructs and secondary. TRP and PUA are hated so much by women because they confound the primary signals with fake secondary ones. We all know how devastated women feel when their reproduction system is polluted by inferior genes.

Did you just prove I was right? I never said you would ACT on it every single time but the TENDENCY is always there. When the RP says AWALT, it's about this tendency. Individual women has different self control, everyone does. So outcome will be different taking into account circumstances and social pressure as well. I applaud you for being on top of it though.

Your hamster can run all it wants. Once you see an attractive bad boy you get wet. I have seen it time and time again. But no one can blame your inconsistency. It's just biology and out of your control.

To get superior genes. Scientists investigated why males even existed and they found answer: http://www.iflscience.com/environment/why-do-men-exist/ "To be good at out-competing rivals and attracting partners in the struggle to reproduce, an individual has to be good at most things, so sexual selection provides an important and effective filter to maintain and improve population genetic health,” said Gage. "Our findings provide direct support for the idea that sex persists as a dominant mode of …

I happen to think being athletic is more important for a man. Having a pretty face is nice but women's tastes regarding to face are very varied. But being lean and athletic is pretty universally liked by women.

One of my Asian friends can easily beat 90% of white males. See my post history. I know he's more of exception than rule, just trying to point out such exception does exist.

It's 3 no doubt. I have seen enough how women behave in front of a better option. They have this inate urge to act on it, but most walk away from it, not because they somehow overcome their hypergamous tendency but because of social pressure. The last thing a woman wants is becoming an outcast socially. That helps keep their urge in check.

I actually agree with you. The women wouldn't be attracted to old gross powerful men. But they sleep with them anyway, which makes it even shittier.

Only if it's socially acceptable to do so. Women are the ultimate circle jerkers (not sure what's the female equivalent but whatever). You can see this everywhere on Reddit. No women want to contradict with each other.

Sure you better believe I'm a Nobel Prize winning 10/10 model. I seldom see someone who is successful, well round and generally content with her life would held such ill will to a subgroup of people. They're more likely to give benefit of doubt. Your posts smell more like radical feminist, in my opinion the female version of incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/05/17 12:52 PM

Funny from your response I have this mental picture of you, neither very intelligent nor good looking. And crazy on top of it, blaming men for all your problems.

I'm actually quite successful with women. Never chased a woman and can possibly get a new girl every week if I act on IOI they throw at me. But I agree with RP 90% of the time. Calling someone loser doesn't automatically make whatever they believe in false.

Exactly this. If you consider the facts that 1) most women find vast majority of men not attractive; 2) some women see an attractive dude once every few YEARS, it's not hard to understand when you mention "men" to a woman, it's that bland, unremarkable creature popping up in her mind, nothing special as far as physical attributes are concerned, because they see a truly attractive man so far and in between, it almost doesn't register in her subconsciousness. That's why they say looks don't matter…

That's the PC shit most of men are brought up with. I see enough evidence from personal experience to support AWALT. It's biology. Ironically I can readily forgive an individual woman's bad behavior because of this realization. It's not her fault, just the result of evolution.

I happen to think that's how women think about unattractive men, especially when they hit on them.
