This is the way! I'm not a USA citizen but I've served my country. I believe in draft equality!

Someone got sand in their vagina? It does sound like someone got sand in their vagina. Men can do creepy stuff. Women can do creepy stuff. Pets do a LOT of weird and creepy stuff! They're not held to the same moral standards as us humans because, well, they're PETS! I just wanted to take the focus off people for once. See the humour in life and that not everything is the result of perverted human behaviour. Sometimes it's unintentional perverted animal behaviour (though technically people are an…

I live in suburbia and we get bowerbirds building bowers in local parks and nature walk throughs (with native trees and shrubs etc). I've taken a sticky beak inside the bowers and it's not uncommon to find brightly coloured extremely lacy or very scanty women's underwear (usually thongs) decorating said bower. I'm not denying creepy men don't exist but in my part of the universe it's less likely to be creepy men and more likely to be other things. Especially that damn dog of ours that likes to c…

As a woman, I don't go straight to men being underwear thieves. I tend to blame the dog, the cats and magpies/bowerbirds before men. The dog is usually the worst culprit for being an underwear thief! She even snatches them off the clothesline and half buries them for later. She's not fussy on gender and socks are fair game too! As for the other TwoX statements, I witness women exhibiting very similar behaviours on a relatively equal basis. However, only women can be victims?

Women should pay their own way when it comes to dating and dinner. The only AH is the woman mooching for a free meal!

Not only have I witnessed the inequality but to see the resources backing my claims makes it even more disturbing. I'm a mother of a son and daughter. My daughter is an older teen. My son is just 6yo. I've always had the mindset to protect him with just as much fervour as I do my daughter. With this being truth, I'll have to work harder to protect him.

I'm with you on this. I believe the ratios to be far more equal. It's just rug swept.

But the underaged male that gets assaulted by an older woman can get HER pregnant and then this poor assaulted kid is then on the hook for child support if she decides to keep the baby. How is that not traumatising? It happens far more often than the media likes to publish. I've seen a few media published cases of this happening but they're nowhere near as prolific as the ones about underaged girls getting pregnant post assault from men. It's not as newsworthy. I see both as equally heinous. Our…

If men want to wear women's clothing more power to them. If my husband started wanting to wear skirts, blouses and dresses etc then fine. As long as he doesn't steal all my clothes! AND buys his own knickers/lingerie!

My daughter's boyfriend has not had a good life. His father abandoned him practicality from birth and his mother is a welfare bound drug addict who has a propensity to dating abusive men. This young man has been through a lot. He's too proud to ask for help but my daughter sometimes asks for things. She never asks for cash but sometimes I direct deposit a small amount into her account. I don't earn big money but I'll sacrifice $30 here or $50 there. It could mean the difference between paying re…

I've learned something today and that's quite horrifying. Something I'll have to talk to my father about as he's a big war history buff. I enlisted of my own volition as a woman. Nobody forced me though I had a lot of people (women in particular) try and talk me out of it. I'm no longer serving but I did voluntarily serve.

Why does this not surprise me in the slightest. My Facebook feed is full of praise for her, the media has her painted as some kind of saint. I have to look at her face on our currency on a daily basis. That woman was evil. The sooner our country becomes a Republic the better. This is probably the only place I can say it without being completely demonised. The fact I, as a woman, have to come to a men's rights sub to say it speaks volumes.

My daughter has left home at 17 and is living in share accommodation with her boyfriend. Both of them used to live with my husband, son and I. I actually took her boyfriend in when his mother kicked him out (he's 17 too). Unfortunately he'd been through a lot of trauma and after 8 months and a minor disagreement that had him calling my husband and I all sorts of names I told him if he didn't like our way of life (we're not rich but all the kids' needs are met including our 6yo son) then he was f…

I distinctly remember a witch hunt over an ex male coworker. I got dragged into the manager's office with the supervisor and grilled over his behaviour. Rumours were circulating that he'd done inappropriate things to certain women and I was one of them. He had mistakenly sent me a text once (he was in a supervisory role and had good reason to access my personal number) and immediately apologised for it. I told management the truth. They wanted me to lie. I refused to fulfil their narrative. We'r…

This is a legitimate medical reason and I take absolutely no issue with that. These are the exceptions that should be provided for. Also, if an adult male, for whatever reason, decide that they want the procedure then by all means. They should have that freedom of choice. Newborns don't have the ability to choose. As I've stated earlier, unless there's a legitimate medical reason for a newborn male to undergo partial or even complete circumcision, it shouldn't be a thing. I have friends (unknown…

I'm going to be honest about my divorce from my ex husband. Including custody, property settlement and extenuating circumstances surrounding the whole shebang. When we first got together prior to marriage he already had a house (if you can call it that - it was not much of an upgrade from a tin shed with plywood floors, ceiling fans, one bedroom and bath) on 5 acres of scrub land. Sure, it was fenced (at least semi decently) but it had no town water or sewerage. It was bore water only. He was li…

Oh please. Cry me a river. Not once did I feel sexually harassed when I was in the military and most of my coworkers were male (there was harassment but not sexual and not by my coworkers and not by my country's military but that's another story for another day). I was harassed once when working for police (not a fully fledged officer but still a uniformed role) by one particular male coworker but he was the exception. I wouldn't consider it sexual harassment just personal space issues and inapp…

It really shouldn't be a thing. I have a 6yo son. While we were both in hospital after birth (a private hospital in Australia) the on call paediatrician assumed hubby and I would be getting him circumcised. The response was "we didn't order one of those". It's still engrained in many medical professionals. Thankfully the paediatrician didn't push the issue. Sometimes there are reconstructive procedures that need to be done to infants that may damage foreskin and that I can understand but circumc…

When I was in the dating world as a woman, I'd always pay for my meal if dining out. It offended some men. Others were kinda shocked. Now that I'm married, hubby and I will still often buy our own meals or take turns paying. I think this practice of women "dating" for a free meal is just rude.

This really grinds my gears. These women teachers that rape under-age boys should get treated like the predators that they are. No mercy. I truly abhor the inequality of justice when it comes to this.

I can't give you a why. It's just what was in part of the message I received. I'm also a woman so it was equally confusing for me. I wasn't highly active on that sub but still followed it. Oh well.

I comment from time to time and follow the sub. It's gotten me banned from other subreddits just from commenting. I've seen a lot of inequality amongst male friends and acquaintances regarding abuse and child custody matters (even though I've gone through my own child custody battles I always tried my best to remain fair). I help where I can. I support however I can. I go digging for resources and through legislation to try and help implement change. I'm not perfect but I've got to start somewhe…

The bar should remain the same. I honestly think it's bullshit. Women shouldn't get easier tests. I passed my car (manual licence) and motorcycle test on the second attempt. It actually took my husband longer to get his licence. He upgraded his car licence from auto to manual and had a bit of difficulty with learning manual but got there. I know of women who didn't get their car licence after multiple attempts until their late 20s/ early 30s. Some people just have difficulty getting it. Seriousl…

If this woman isn't a prime candidate for forced sterilization I don't know what is. What this woman has done is completely reprehensible. Wanting to have more children? I bloody well hope not. Makes me ashamed to be of the same gender and nationality as her. Disgusting.

Even though I may have primary custody of our child and her father may only see her on school holiday visits as he lives a good few thousand km away, it doesn't mean that it isn't important for her to have interaction regularly with her father (phone and Skype) or be exposed to decent male role models in her life. I refuse to succumb to the bitterness that many single mothers have against men in general. It isn't fair on the child and that is what's most important, the welfare of the children. T…

Batty old trolls at SRS is an understatement lol. I know you didn't mean anything by it. But yes, both sides tend to throw stones in glass houses from time to time.

Most of what I said was tongue in cheek (about being a bimbo). I try not to get too involved in hidden agendas. I see it on both sides (subbed to both here and TwoX - I have no time for SRS) and I just end up throwing my hands up in the air and figuratively walking away. You do make a good and very valid point.

Meh, I'll stick with being a bimbo. There's less expectation of me being a bimbo. I can feign ignorance or something. Much of Feminism just makes my head hurt. P.S. I'm all for equality. True equality, not this 'women should be treated better at the expense of men' rubbish.

I'm sure there's a way somehow that you can rudely nap. There must be! Just because I suffer from PMS doesn't mean I have to make everybody else suffer because of my PMS. I can also identify with the Bipolar Disorder statement (I've been diagnosed type II Bipolar). I'd much prefer people to tell me I'm acting out of character and have people question me about it than use it as an excuse to absolve me from any/everything.

The same could be said about keeping the name after divorce (if she changed it upon marriage). Some say that it is inappropriate to keep the married name when you are no longer married to that person. I kept my ex husband's surname mainly to save confusion for our daugher (at the time). Now I could change it back but the mindfuckery to do so with all of the relevant agencies is just too much. Realistically, at the end of the day, it's just a damn name.

That's one of the things that often gets missed with custody battles. What's best for the child. I've been down that road with my ex and while I have primary custody (yes I'm female but in essence if my ex had've done the right thing, kept his nose clean and not behaved the way he did he would've kept primary custody)it was never about 'winning'. The only real winners are the lawyers at the end of the day. Also, congrats to the OP. I wish there was more equality with the court processes. It real…

As a woman, reading that article disgusts me. Men have just as much right to say no. I see it as nothing to do with taking back this so called power over women. Maybe he wasn't up for it or wanted to take his time before making that relationship sexual. This woman needs her head read.

My SO seems to like receiving cards (last checked he was male and I female). He tends to send me more than I him (we're long distance), not that I'm complaining.

I tend to just buy blank ones with a rather neutral picture on the front. Something that the recipient could identify with but without the inane drivel that's on the inside. My SO seems to like my handmade cards. I'm not particularly crafty though. I usually just scribble some drawing and go overboard with stickers raided from my daughter's craft box.

I somehow think my father would take offence if I got that one for his birthday. Not that I have a problem with Bluntcards. Should be more of them.

there was the usual male/female cards in one section then there was this other section that was pretty much purely female. The gender specific ratio was very biassed. Maybe it's because women buy more cards or something? It just struck me as odd that aside from the regular cards this section was all on its own.

I've been a lurker for some time but this made me see red. It's not until a fair way down that the questions are asked about violence against men. If anything violence against men is what's being silenced...

XXer here. It's about time something like this made the front page. The sooner people realise that women can be perpetrators of rape the better. Images like these sadden me. Rape is very real for both genders. This bias needs to go away. To the OP, I really feel for you. Not only for the violation of your person but for the ignorance of your rights solely based on gender.
