Unless of course, during an investigation a statement is taken she admits she said that or that that she lied about the allegations. Or she pleads guilty. And although I'll agree you don't need a video recording on her typing those messages (but it wouldn't hurt), you do need to be able to place her where the IP address is situated when the message is sent. As there is no imminent threat, the police would be able to submit a production order to Facebook and Facebook would provide them with the IP addresses used on her account to make those posts, and it would likely take months. You'd then need to get warrants for the ISP to determine where those IPs are located. So now you've determined who owns/registered the account, and where they were when they posted those comments (home network, or cellphone network for example).
