Ok, so basically... TRP exists for men who didn't realize how female attraction worked? Does this mean TRP harbors no ill feelings for women and human sexuality in general?
/r/TheRedPill13/01/14 09:43 AM
-2

Well, the girl who used to be an ugly duckling/fat/disfigured also didn't change as a person once she became hot for whatever reason. Shouldn't the TRP perspective apply both ways?

Dude, the point is that as I see it, the women at /r/AskWomen didn't argue that OP is a loser. They simply argued that "gold-diggers" (according to their own standards) would not be interested in OP. Maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong, but I didn't see it as a malevolent act of denial.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/14 09:40 AM

It's a horrible choice from a financial point of view Like you said, he could possibly afford it by taking out a loan, but it would make zero sense to do so. Gold-diggers are usually looking for someone well beyond the 1%, like that classic post from a woman looking for men earning over 500k. I think that was the point of the posters in /r/AskWomen.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/14 05:20 AM

That makes sense. it doesn't mean five years later after marrying her we're gonna want out So... does TRP condone guys who leave their wives for "better options" just like they condone women for doing the same thing? but it's a lot more likely a girl will marry a boring doctor then five years later realize she misses being banged by guys Well... if you look at the popular SMV/age graph often posted here, men often gain value up until they reach the mid-30s. Doesn't this mean that men would be mo…

but honestly identifying it and drawing logical conclusions from it Isn't the whole "attraction to doctors" thing deeply ingrained in our culture? How does TRP differ from the general opinion of the populace? It's even a common joke in TV shows and movies.

being rich will get women interested, but they won't necessarily like you in a genuine way. But... isn't this common knowledge? And doesn't it apply to women as well? How can a woman know if a guy likes her for her appearance or likes her in a genuine way?
/r/TheRedPill13/01/14 04:52 AM
2

Well, /r/AskWomen generally agreed that doctors are more attractive. Many even mentioned that having a stable income is important for starting a family. The gold-diggers part was probably a matter of disagreement over a definition. When someones mentiones a gold-digger I usually imagine girls fawning over guys driving Ferraris and BMWs, which are beyond the salary of the average doctor.
/r/TheRedPill13/01/14 04:48 AM

So... what is wrong with women being more attracted to doctors, which was posted as a TRP example recently? Does anyone in the world actually deny that doctors get more women?

At a certain point, you will have to settle down or you will look and feel ridiculous. We live in a free society, so you never have to settle down, unless you want. "Feeling ridiculous" is just a social concept that can be easily ignored. Having her devote her life to you, take your name and bear your children is a real test of what she thinks of you 80+% of men will do that in their lifetimes. Is it really such an impressive achievement?

If they take too long to ask the friends question, you just say something like "I have to go back to my friends, how about you go with me?". You can also get your friends/wingman to come to their table. It's field tested. I do this pretty much every weekend, though sometimes it's hard to isolate your target after you've introduced your wingman.
/r/seduction31/08/13 04:31 PM
3

What I like to do is: 1) Engage a girl/group of girls alone 2) When they ask me the usual "where are your friends?" question, point at my wingman 3) Bring them over to our table Then isolate your target by sitting next to her and seating the rest of the group near your wingman. When the mood feels right, invite your target to get some drinks at the bar or out for a smoke and go for the kiss.

They get more women relative to what they've had before. It's all relative to the given person, not to the male population as a whole.

Couchsurfing kinda gets old after a while as all the people seem the same in the community (low-budget travel kinda guys), though it might be different in America. But it's a good place to start.

who wants to drive that long there and back? I know a guy who lives 1.5 hours away from the city center and still pulls regularly. It's a limiting belief.

How many girls exactly are we talking about here? If it's less than 5, you might just be experiencing variance and simply need to hook up with more girls.

I recommend the busiest street in your city, especially shopping areas. In my opinion being direct is the best opener - "hi, I know this is random, but I saw you walking past and wanted to talk to you because you look beautiful". But you can start with asking directions as being direct is hard for beginners.
/r/seduction21/07/13 07:25 PM

Out on the street, though it works best when you live in a moderately large (500k+) city.

Why would you plan parties/plan a weekend with friends instead of asking her out 1 on 1? I would say you need to give her a call, ask her out, and then either meet her in person or forget about her.
/r/seduction18/07/13 02:16 PM

The girl you were gonna marry was walking past your house this morning. Unfortunately you were too busy writing this post on Reddit and couldn't go out and meet her. I agree that 0.01% is better than 0%, but sometimes you just have to move on.

Keep in mind that women here in Chile Chile has 8.5 million women, at least 500 thousand of them are attractive. Are you sure it's a good idea to have such broad generalizations about half a million people? I would say you should forget your limiting beliefs and get new numbers. Those who really want to see you will pick up the phone. The rest will do you a favour by not making you waste time on them.
/r/seduction17/07/13 09:46 PM

Worry about decorations once you have the seduction part down. You can have the most interesting apartment in the world, but it wouldn't help you at all if you can't convince anyone to come see it.
/r/seduction15/07/13 08:32 AM

I've both had people ask me to take out my earbuds (I live in a very touristic city, so a lot of people ask for directions) and asked people to take off theirs. Girls (and people in general) can always ignore your silent request and walk on, there's absolutely no pressure.
/r/seduction10/07/13 08:09 AM

You don't need any creativity to open someone on the street. Being direct is all it really takes. If she's wearing headphones, sign for her to take them out.
/r/seduction09/07/13 09:04 AM

Personally, I would just move on. It's much more fun to have sex/relationships with someone when there is an instantaneous spark.

You just have to make sure you never get old. Not old in the physical sense (there's no way to avoid it), but rather old from the psychological point of view. Always stick to your plans regardless of what your body or society might be telling you. Old people say "I'll just go home early, I have to work tomorrow". Young people say "I don't give a shit about being tired, I'll follow my plan for tonight through the end". Old people say "I can't go surfing to Australia, my girlfriend wants me to vis…

Interesting strategy. Imho, the only thing that matters in "the game" is the result, not the strategy. Congrats on finding one that works out perfectly for you. Two questions: 1) How do you initiate the "would you rather?" game? Do you type out the rules before sending the first question? 2) Objectively speaking, what is the level of attractiveness of the girls you're sleeping with?
/r/seduction30/06/13 06:48 PM
2

Those differences might be important at a business conference, but they can be easily ignored when meeting women. Just calibrate as usual and escalate without thinking of whether country X approves sex on the first/second/third date.
/r/seduction30/06/13 09:43 AM

I would recommend you to drop the stereotypes and treat them like they're Western girls.

The inner voice is absolute bullshit when it comes to evaluating the response of the opposite gender. I've had numerous occassions when it failed me in either direction (both "there's no way this would work" and "there's no way this would fail"). The only solution is to go for it in all situations, regardless of what your intuition might tell you.
/r/seduction27/06/13 07:38 PM

How do you meet those women? Cold approach? Day or night? How long do you talk to them before getting their contact?
/r/seduction26/06/13 10:35 PM

Just say no. It's not worth your time and effort. If she's actually interested in having sex with you she will come without the friend. If she's not, it's a waste of time.

Almost anyone can become attractive by losing weight (enough to have 6-pack ABS), gaining muscle, getting a good haircut and getting nice clothes. Not a super model, but generally attractive to the vast majority of women. So instead of looking for excuses not to approach girls - go sign up for a gym and start talking to women on the way to your workout.

It's a numbers game for anybody, not just you. Both Brad Pitt and the neckbeard virgin are playing it, though with a varying level of success.

Walking away is the solution to 99% of relationship problems (unless you're married with kids and walking away is really hard). This is why being confident in your ability to seduce women is important - you wouldn't put up with any sort of irrational behaviour and would have the opportunity to find a truly matching partner.
/r/seduction19/06/13 04:45 PM
1

No need to go for a bootcamp. Find someone who would spend time 1-on-1 with you as you approach, invite girls for a date, and escalate. It can even be a friend of yours, as long as he knows how seduction works.
/r/seduction18/06/13 07:41 AM
1

If you don't want to blow money on a bootcamp, find some local pickup lair and make friends with them. Go out together, do your approaches, and they will tell what's wrong with you. But be aware that finding someone who actually knows his shit is very hard.
/r/seduction17/06/13 08:29 PM
1

Three questions: 1) Is your body fat below 15%? If not, get more lean. 2) Do you wear well-fitting and matching clothes every day? If not, change your wardrobe. 3) Do you read at least 1 (non-seduction related) book per week? If not, start doing it. If it still doesn't work, I would recommend hiring someone to look at your approaches and interactions and to point out your mistakes.
/r/seduction17/06/13 06:20 AM

Your apartment doesn't attract women. You attract women. I would suggest bringing at least 5 girls to your new place before thinking of any decorations. Simply keeping it clean is more than enough in most cases.

/r/seduction06/06/13 07:28 AM

Don't get numbers, instead go for insta-dates or make plans on the spot. The rejection ratio is extremely high, but overall it's more time efficient than visiting any sort of venues or events.

this thought process almost ALWAYS shuts my game down and I can't seem to justify it. You are afraid of rejection, which is why you are afraid to make a move. I'd suggest you go out sometimes with the sole purpose of getting rejected. Use the worst pick-up lines, go for the kiss after 1 minute of talking, instantly invite them to your place, whatever. "Yeah you look familiar where did you see me?" "Walking around campus a few days ago" You didn't have to actually see her on campus in order to be able to say that phrase. This is more of a way to reduce AA, not an actual approach strategy.

I'm curious why a 32 year old is aspiring to be a pick up artist? When I was your age, I was watching porn, eating Totino's pizza rolls, lifting weights, and chasing girls like a NORMAL basement neckbeard would.

All that ever matters in seduction is the result. The girl could take a week to respond, but as long as she shows up for the event you invited her to, it's okay. Similarly, she could always respond within 60 seconds, but it won't help you if she flakes out on you. Stop caring about response times and start caring about the actual outcomes of your interactions.

Two options: 1) You didn't build enough attraction/comfort during the initial meeting and they decided they would rather not see you. 2) They had something better to do on that day. What is your opinion on girls who take a long time to respond to texts (12-24 hours)? Should you wait as much as they do? Should you still ask them out on the second/third text or should you try to keep up some chat?

so I'd estimate about 30-40% of the girls who go out know who I am I really don't know why you're asking this question. I think that it's still pretty much a numbers game for women as well. Sure, they're much more judged by their looks, but there are always guys out there who would be into them (and they don't have to be ugly/desperate either). The more you go out, the more people you talk to, the more you flirt, the higher are your chances to get laid.

Same way you would with someone you haven't seen for a long time: "Hey, you're Allison, Michael's friend, right? I'm his classmate, good to see you again, bla bla bla". Then ask for her number or make plans on the spot.

Fear of being creepy is one of the main reasons why guys are afraid to make a move, be it to approach, to kiss, to escalate or just to look someone in the eye. You just have to face the fact that no matter what you do, someone will find you creepy. Face it and get over it.

Just make sure you don't expect anything to magically happen from doing all of these things. Hitting the gym, starting a hobby, moving to a new apartment, changing your wardrobe, studying a new language are all important to develop your personality. But somewhere down the line you would still need to make approaches (cold/warm/online) and learn the basics of seduction. I think it's a crucial thing to remember, because a lot of guys fall into the trap of thinking "I need to improve X in order to …

Girls almost never make a move, so as long as you hang out with a girl like if she was a male buddy and don't attempt to escalate, nothing is ever going to happen between you two. It's only if you are desperate for sex and develop oneitis for every girl that agrees to hang out with you that it becomes impossible. It seems to me that while online dating would increase the average number of sexual partners most people have, it would also decrease the rates of infidelity and divorce. A guy who slept with 100 women before he met his wife wouldn't be contemplating about lost opportunities because he's already seen it all.

As always, it is all about preselection and setting your own standards. If you want dates - ask girls out to a restaurant and reject those who fail to communicate properly or flake at the last minute. You want hookups - ask girls out for a walk and reject those who don't go to your place at the end of the night. I would say that the modern times have given us the best of all worlds: freedom.

An interesting "strategy". Just curious: 1) Doesn't it come off weird if you start kinoing the girls back at your place after no kino beforehand? For example, if you approach 100 girls at the restaurant, how many would eventually go to watch a movie with you?

The segment ends with a good question: if women are always “being nice” to men, how are men to tell legitimate interest from harmless, casual flirtation? I believe the answer is "assume attraction" and "always escalate". Much easier than getting a major in body language reading.

Too many stereotypes. There is no one thing you have to learn as a man or a woman. I would say for seduction it comes down to just four things: 1) Have enough money to pay an expert in any area. This includes male fashion (though it's also nice to understand it by yourself). 2) Have a well-toned body 3) Have excellent conversation skills. other than just being another guy who talks about something he really likes Most people (guys or girls) don't have any strong passions. They "like" to ski, to drink beer, to swim in the ocean, to eat ice cream, but they don't "love" it or at least they don't talk about stuff like they do. So you'll automatically be better than most guys are in terms of passion.

Europe is slowly approaching America in terms of fat, UK is almost there. And I fail to see how it is not someone's fault to be fat when all you need to do to be non-fat is to eat less. It's like saying you're an alcoholic because of all the beer advertisements. Unattractiveness can include an ugly face, lack of clearly visible female body parts, signs of ageing, children from a previous marriage and so on. Stuff that can be overcome by males through skill, personality, and (sometimes) money.

The ratio of homosexual men is roughly equal or greater to the number of homosexual women. Not everyone wants a relationship, but men are far more often found living a secluded life with little to no contact with the opposite gender. A) what people say on the Internet is not equivalent to what they do in real life B) your example was bad as you should have said both are equally attractive, not that one is better than the other C) most answers were mentioning the fact that the first guy was more approacheable, implying that the girls were considering on whether they would make the first move. This goes against one of the basic rules here, which is to never wait for girls to approach first.

I believe this goes both ways for women. A girl can justify the man's looks by his personality, but can also justify his crappy personality by his looks. It doesn't work that way for guys, which is why fat men have a lot better chances than fat women.

Look up the Vin Dicarlo escalation ladder. As long as the girl is responsive you should move from touching to hugging to kissing to sex.

That's why you have the escalation ladder. It's the only way to know for sure if the flirting is real or not.

If you make friends with a bunch of people, male and female This is the key point. Having only male friends wouldn't get you any hookups as there are few guys who are actively seeking out female contacts for their friends. Also, relying on your social circle is quite a passive approach and would often lead to a scarcity mentality. But it's a good start.

You still have the weekends, right? What about hours after work? Lots of college students have a job, which means that they have even less free time than you do. Yes, college students might have it easier. But opportunity alone means nothing unless you are actively making use of it. This applies both to the college guys and to the older crowd. but I've never had much luck connecting with women under 25, both in terms of dating and chatting up I know quite a few 30+ guys dating 18+ girls, so it m…

You will never have as many women in your age range in such close proximity again in your life. Make use of it. I don't mean to be rude, but that is also an excuse. If you're an interesting, fit and well-employed guy in your 30s, there's nothing stopping you from meeting tons of college-aged girls. There is absolutely no difference between you and the average guy here when it comes to seduction, except your limiting beliefs.

I think most people are completely content with "vanilla" sex and don't care much about whether a girl wears heels/has designer shoes/or has a lot of sexual experience.

Is he currently dating/hooking up with other women? Are they objectively better than his ex? If not, that's what he should be working on.

You are at the same position as any other guy who hasn't been dating for a long time (some people haven't dated for their entire lives). Read the basics, go out, and start practicing. That's the only way you can possibly succeed. In your situation you should probably try extra hard to get rid of any oneitis you have for your ex, but otherwise it's the same.

The point is that good clothes won't make you any more skilled or attractive on their own. You can be wearing a $10000 bespoke suit and look like a clothes model, but it wouldn't improve your game in any way. Dress up in whatever feels comfortable and at least barely socially acceptable, e.g. a simple shirt and non-sneaker shoes in a bar/club setting is more than sufficient.

wine is a completely subjective topic that is extremely easy to talk about. I would say it's a marginally better conversation starter than anything else in a supermarket. I would suggest you simply avoid gaming in supermarkets.

Couchsurfing.org (meetups) Yoga classes Dancing classes Cooking classes Acting classes Wine tastings Frankly I don't understand the people's obsession with clubs and bars as a hookup scene. Try finding a local "pickup lair", either through this subreddit or by doing some research on the Internet. There's usually one in any major city worldwide. Trust me, it's much easier to approach on the street when you're thinking about the peer pressure of your "mentors", instead of the internal pressure of not talking to strangers.

It could plan a seed of doubt in your head of whether your partner actually likes you for who you are or for how big your wallet is. Go out to bars, flirt with women, do all kino up to a k-close. This will allow you to see that even if she cheats on you tomorrow, you could find a new girlfriend in a matter of a week. "Alpha" is not about forcing women to be with you. It's about giving being outcome independent in all situations. It's okay if she leaves and okay if she doesn't.

Can those failed hookups somehow affect your grades? No? Then why the hell do you care? Awkwardness is actually a good thing as being constantly exposed to it lowers your internal barriers.
