Keep a clean house is as basic as basic gets.

So you’re saying when you live with someone your exception is that they can quit their jobs and you will take over full financial responsibility for them and the house…

I love that I’m getting downvoted because this guy literally spelled out male privilege. Oh what a day.

That is very true. And the actual problem. For the sake of education, why do you choose not to do these things in a relationship? What are you bringing to the table instead of helping carry your load around the house?

That’s a darn good question.

I describe those tasks as simple because they are simple, men just don’t like to do them, which is why women get frustrated. Because they are simple and yet many men refuse to do their part. That part is the actual problem. There are literally dozens of posts in here saying how cleaning is woman’s work, maintaining a home is woman’s work, etc. Too many men don’t want to be held accountable, they don’t want to “work” around the house… then they complain when their significant other is frustrated …

lol You think women want to be in relationships acting like mother’s to their spouses/partners? No, they don’t. Women want men who can hold their own, but that is not always easy to find. That being said, women are not holding some unrealistic bar over men’s heads… You’re seriously underestimating the number of men who do not pay their bills on time, who don’t clean their bathrooms or have sheets on their beds (maybe don’t even have a bed frame), who won’t load the dishwasher even though it’s ri…

I’m sorry I didn’t comment on every single facet of his comment. Thank you for pointing that out. The idea that women dictate everything that impacts them societally is ridiculous. Thank you for stopping by.

I genuinely don’t know. I’m still perplexed as to why men lie about their height. This is all above my head for sure.

We’re talking about women’s looks. That was the topic.

Did you or did you not say “the problem is, in society we don’t place as much of a value on men’s looks as we do women’s.” In turn, society has different standards for women where looks are concerned. Enjoyed that gaslighting though, thank you. You also have a good day.

Thank you for explaining to me that society has different standards for women.

It’s interesting that y’all are tearing women down for how they rank themselves when men do the exact same thing. Ranking ourselves higher than society might isn’t a uniquely ‘woman’ thing.

A woman can throw a toothpick and find a dozen men who will sleep with her, no questions asked. It’s not a matter of who is more attractive, it’s a matter of who is more selective.

The comments in there were unnecessarily hateful. Her list was not unreasonable, I can’t see why it turned so nasty.

How tragically archaic and sexist.
