Congratulations for leaving the toxic MGTOW! Please believe in love and in good women again. True love and successful marriages still exist. You're young. Start working on yourself as soon as possible and you will attract the right woman when the right time comes. Regarding your anxieties, what helped mine is doing inner healing, and surprisingly watching Christopher Nolan's The Batman Trilogy, Psychological analysis of the The Batman Trilogy by the YouTube channel Movies with Meaning (Check out…

I think you're putting this crush on a pedestal. I'm sure he's not as great as you think and you may not be compatible anyway. FOCUS on what's best for YOU. You deserve a high quality man who will love and cherish you and who will build with you the relationship (and family) you've always dreamed of.

You're describing what love and marriage is ought to be. I think society confuses love with lust. Love is self-giving while lust is self-gratifying. Many people cheat and leave when times get rough or when they get bored because they we're never in love but in lust. A successful marriage is one that is based on mutual love and respect. If the love is true, it grows and it never ends. I know men and women who are still in love even after 20, 30, 40+ years of marriage.

If love is merely a fantasy why are there successful marriages? The problem is people do not know how to love. People have become more and more selfish. Love is an action, a skill we cultivate. It is to will the good of the other. Marriage is invented to protect both couples and their children.

Isn't marriage the reason why we date? Maybe you're emotionally unavailable and not yet ready for a real relationship

I'm so sorry to hear that. Receiving Christian formation doesn't guarantee that one will become good and faithful. The values must be acted out and our relationship with Christ should grow continually. Or else, we will be easily swayed to commit sin. And from what I've noticed, people with successful marriages both have strong faith and they cultivate it together.

When we reject the Judeo-Christian values in which our society has been built upon, everything will collapse. And that includes the institution of marriage. Moreover, God is love and so love comes from Him. That's why true love is so rare nowadays because people reject God and pursue relationships for selfish reasons. Selfishness is antithetical to Christian love which is self-sacrificial.

Maybe you haven't met a true faithful Christian woman yet. There are still a lot of them out there

Amen. Because God is Love. We can only learn how to love if God is with us. Through Jesus' example, we learn how a husband should love his wife: by sacrificing himself for her sake. And in return, the wife loves her husband by sacrificing herself for his sake Real love is demanding. It's sacrifice. That's why true love is rare nowadays since most people only want to use each other and runaway from responsibilities. Source: Love and Responsibility by Karol Wojtyla

I also think his mom encouraged that dependence on her but there's more to the story. The guy grew up in a toxic and dysfunctional family. His father was narcissistic, alcoholic, lazy, and violent. He witnessed how his father abused and beat his mom to the point of almost killing her many times. His father also controlled everything and didn't allow his mom to have her own money so she'd become dependent on him. She worked 8-5 while maintaining the household all by herself. Also, his father with…

Playing video games in moderation is ok. But it turns into a problem when it becomes an addiction. And like any other addiction, it can DESTROY your life. I personally know men who have become so addicted to video games that they choose to play all day instead of going to work. One is a Momma's boy who relied on his mom until she died. His mom's stress from work caused her cancer and death. He was 40 when she died. And had a mental breakdown and lived in the men's shelter for some time. He also …
