An attractive guy can just get away with being creepy longer.

Are you me? I have gotten to a place where I feel fine standing up for myself which confuses him so he doesn’t say shit anymore lmao.

At this point I’m barely even physically attracted to them.

Omg yes! Around this time I dated a broke guy for the last time. He had a full time job when we met, nothing great but it paid host bills. He owned his place so I saw that as a mark of maturity. He soon lost his job after we met and was unemployed for a while. He never cooked, never had food in his fridge. He got a part time job at a book store and seemed happy just doing that. He couldn’t afford to do anything, I paid for shit a lot. That got old for me quickly because I make enough to have som…

I’m with you on the beards but I love tattoos and have plenty myself. My favorite is clean shaven, clean cut fashion, lots of tattoos. I like the juxtaposition of it I guess. The guys that get job stoppers (hands, neck, face) usually fall into one of three categories: work in the tattoo industry, work in an industry where tattoos aren’t an issue, or they’re losers with bad taste who prioritize getting new ink over paying their bills. The latter is a common stereotype but it’s not always true in …

-Bad hygiene (don’t take care of teeth, shower regularly, wear deodorant) -bad grooming (unkempt hair, beard, pubes) -Bald and insecure about it -shitty style, clearly doesn’t care about appearance -shorter than me (I’m 5’8”) -fat, “dad bod” Literally went on a date with a guy who was bald with self described dad bod. Before we met he was fishing for validation on his appearance via message and I should’ve unmatched him right then and there. We had a brief coffee date and he was so insecure and …

I know I’m just feeling kind of defeated right now I guess.

Height doesn’t matter much to me but their attitude about it does. I’m on the taller side for a woman (5’9”) so sometimes I’ve dated men my height or slightly shorter. But good god, men who have a complex about needing to be taller than the woman are so insufferable.

I’m a millennial (34) and I never come across men with money or decent jobs. I have a decent job where I’m able to save money for vacation and other things I want, why do I never come across men like this? I guess I’m struggling to apply FDS because of this. I’m pretty understanding of the fact that our economy is fucked because of inflation and wage stagnation but I don’t see dudes even trying to find decent jobs. So many seem satisfied working at coffee shops, restaurants, and retail. The lack…

My ex made me hate beards. He became obsessed with growing one once we started dating and I didn’t mind at first. Except he would refuse to trim it and would let it scraggly. Like it would collect food bits and get in my mouth when we kissed. He saw his beard as an extension of his manhood which I told him was stupid. In hindsight he was very insecure and would get kinda homophobic trying to prove how manly he was. Ironically he refused to touch me unless I was freshly shaved from the neck down.…

The most hilarious part of an incel accusing me of that is that the typically Chad they describe is not even remotely my type.

Lol pretty much any woman could go on OLD and pick up some hook up if that’s what she wanted. I did it for years and the novelty wore off when I realized they didn’t like a woman who had NSA sex and would act shitty towards me. I wouldn’t say I’m completely celibate but I have long dry spells. I want to be committed to someone otherwise I’m not really interested in sex at the moment.

I’ve been in this situation before and would agree that yes, I also need a connection. But it’s bringing up the topic of sex so quickly that’s the red flag. So many times I’ve had a guy tell me this and then on the same date, they’re throwing themselves at me trying for sex. They just tell you what you want to hear and then go for it when they think your guard is down.

I’m a stylist and bleghhhh do I hate hearing comments like this. Or when a female client is like “my husband would not let me do that to my hair!” It’s so gross and controlling.

I’ve been slowly learning to drop my pickme behavior over the last few years and I feel more confident and assertive than ever. I went out with a few LVM this year and I dumped them as soon as I realized they weren’t worth my time. I can sniff out shitty behavior pretty quickly now and I’m hoping to drop it 100% in 2020!

I’ve been a hairdresser for 12 years and it’s all about denial and insecurity. Some of my male clients are way more insecure and fussy about their hair than most of my female clients. Plenty that would rather spend tens of thousands of dollars getting a hair transplant than rock a shorter style because they just can’t deal.

I can't say it's had much of an affect on my brother. He has issues with covert misogyny and doesn't respect me very much. He's snapped at me and called me a man hater a few times. He's married and treats her well I guess but they're very codependent. He tries to act like her caretaker in a way that seems like he doesn't trust her to take care of herself.

My ex was exactly like this. Years after it comes off as super controlling. He would derail my attempts at losing weight all the time, would tell me I would look better with more meat on me, call my healthy food “rabbit food”. My weight was at its highest after I finally broke up with him. I eat healthy now and dropped the weight and feel great!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
