Hey bud it’s been a blast chatting with you but I’m gonna have to let ya go. I think I have had enough screen time haha. Good luck out there I wish you the best!

But as a species humans don’t need to reproduce as much as they possibly can. Now we tend to use the pleasure aspect of sex more often for our own benefit and not for the evolutionary reason it’s there. Can you acknowledge that?

Actually yes it does. We have no threat to our survival so there’s no need to be reproducing at the rate every other species has to. Like you said, human females are the only ones to conceal ovulation? That would make sense.

The reason to hide heat is because human women don’t need to be reproducing all the time. It doesn’t make sense for our species anyway, like I said, given theres no real threat to our survival. We would just be over populating.

Also recognize that a body count has nothing to with how much they are reproducing. There is a pleasure aspect to sex. I’m not sure how a high body count means that a woman will go behind your back to reproduce with someone different. She wasn’t having sex with those men to reproduce in the first place.

No. It’s a problem for him as he becoming a miserable and dangerous person.

No. Concealed ovulation ensures that women are able to reproduce with who they choose, somebody she can successfully raise offspring with. This fear that she will choose a partner, and then go behind his back is kind of fear mongering. It simply doesn’t happen like you think it does. It doesn’t make sense.

He’s going to be 18 in 6 months. I’m just trying to help him out.

As a human woman I will give you a perspective you might not have. When a women wants to reproduce it’s important that it’s with a partner she feels she can be supported by emotionally and help raise her young. It’s not just “the best man available”. Maybe it’s in her DNA to want the best mate because that’s how a species is given the best chance to survive. but it just simply wouldn’t make sense given that we are not in the “eat, sleep, reproduce, die” agenda that other species of animals are o…

I think you are forgetting humans have language, animals do not. So a woman could communicate when she is fertile. Most of the time a woman will reproduce with someone she’s in a committed relationship with. It wouldn’t make sense for her to go behind her partners back to reproduce with someone else. So it’s an unrealistic fear to have.

I’m only asking you to explain it because it seems to be something you stand by. If you can’t defend your belief then I think you should probably reflect on that.

I’ve definitely taken that into consideration. You are right that at 14 you don’t feel like your just starting out. At 14 you definitely have your share of romantic and social experiences, of course. But there is a lot more he has yet to experience, but those experiences will now be tainted with these views he has taken on which is why I’m so concerned.

I’m not sure how concealing ovulation can lead to disgusted feelings. If you could explain that part.

I’m curious about the claim that those feelings are due to evolution… why do you believe that? Where was this studied? And where in the animal kingdom has this also occurred?

I am in no way trying to get you to date women with high body counts. BUT, what I am saying is that you will continue to be unhappy with women if that’s all you can think about. Realize there’s more to women than their bodies. Realize there’s more to a relationship than sex. If you are struggling with this then you will not be successful with any woman you meet, low body count or not. Go into a relationship with somebody for who they are, their interests, their personality, the things that you h…

“I’m not gonna be more lenient on sluts lol” Sir I don’t think you are in a place to talk about respect… And I would agree maybe you are better off alone.

I would say though that maybe everyone has a standard including me. But when it’s taking over your thoughts the way it is for you, that shows you are immature. Those disgusted feelings that you feel are real, I felt them too. And don’t tell me “it’s different for men” I don’t think you get to make that claim from a man’s perspective alone. We might not be all that different, and when I come in with a story to relate to you, you completely deny me for simply being a woman. Please reflect on that.

I don’t think it is impossible for me to understand as a woman, that’s a totally unfair claim to make.

I understand the concern, which is why I created my Reddit account in the first place so I could dig into this kind of content that he is consuming and get a better understanding on how his mind is working. You are right that some of this content is speaking to his lived reality, it’s clearly what drew him to Reddit. So many people with similar experiences to him made him feel less alone and different. But the problem is, he is super impressionable and easy to manipulate if you give him any bit …

hmm… okay. if that’s how you feel, I was just trying to help you out. You’d never know who really is an LTR candidate before you get to know them, but if you want to keep living the way you live then I won’t tell you to stop. It just seems like you’re pretty miserable because of it. I think your hyper focused on this issue to the point where it’s lessened your chances of forming meaningful relationships with women.

Yes. There’s sex and then there’s physical intimacy: cuddling, kissing, hugging, closeness. Sex has definitely FELT like a chore to me, but not because it was forced on me. For some reason it’s not really my thing, the sensation to me is uncomfortable and I mostly just think about germs the entire time so that sucks. Despite this I usually want to have sex so I can feel close to my husband, but he understands that it’s not something I really enjoy. I guess I feel like I’m sacrificing myself a li…

I’m just saying many people on here seem to be like my brother where they are almost impossible to have conversations with even if I try. My brother has said a lot of hurtful things to me but I will always try to be a listening ear to him and provide any advice I can. but he tends to get into this black and white thinking and I see the same thing all the time on Reddit. I literally created my Reddit account so I could keep tabs on him and what kind of content he is consuming so I can have a bett…

I’m sorry… are you talking to me? What your saying doesn’t seem to have anything to do with my comment so im not sure if you had accidentally replied to me. EDIT: nevermind I think your referring to the original post. Honestly I forgot what this thread was about I just saw this comment and wanted to share my experience. I didn’t come here to talk about the dating issue. Although I could.

Unfortunately for me I was not aware that he had been hooking up with another woman during our talking phase until well over a year into our relationship. This hurt big time and kind of shattered how I viewed him afterwards. I was completely loyal to him and I felt so stupid for it. I felt betrayed. But a whole year into our relationship I had already fallen in love with this man and knew he was the one. So I had to really sit back and process that heartbreak. If I had found out while we were st…

I’ve noticed this too. In fact, my younger brother who is neurodivergent fell down this rabbit hole and starting repeating all the misogynistic stuff I see on Reddit. As his older sister I try to have conversations with him to help him understand women rather than taking advice from random strangers. But he views me as a clueless woman. It’s honestly so sad and frustrating. I love my brother but hate who he is turning into.

I understand this feeling, but it’s really out of your control. When I met my husband he had already been with 5 women before me, and this was hard for me to get over simply because I was insecure and worried he’d compare me to them. Despite this issue, we really clicked and I knew that he was somebody I could spend my life with… I just had to get over this jealous and disgusted feeling I had about his past. But hey, I was 18 and immature. I’ve grown up since then and realize that his past is si…

maybe, but it’s not intentional. I guess the topic itself can be touchy so you have to be careful how you word things or use your tone otherwise people take it as attack.

You guys over complicate this relationship crap. It should be about being with someone you click with, and enjoy spending time with, and respect. It’s not transactional like you give sex and I give money. That’s not how any of this works. You are so convinced you have it all figured out but you don’t, and it proves why you all are out here struggling. Because you are too shallow and emotionally immature to be in a meaningful relationship with someone. Get these toxic ideas out of your head.

I would argue that women would be capable of filling the jobs that men left behind like they did in WWII. Yes, the workforce is mainly men. You gave many examples of male dominated fields. But there are still a good amount of women in those fields too. So if men all vanished the trade wouldn’t be completely lost on us. I would even say that more women would be willing to learn these trades now that men are out of the picture. Sexual harassment in the workplace wouldn’t be a problem (maybe). Many…
