Am I reading that correctly or is that not only in a different country, but also the Doctor involved didn't send the images to anyone else? I mean the guy should have been punished more but the details of these cases are very different.

Yeah, I mean my wife and I do share a bank account, but are both established professionals and live well within our means so it's never really been an issue. However I totally understand how having separate accounts could prevent or alleviate some marital conflict.

I don't know, I think it's pretty well implied. But if you think she was joking than you should assume he was as well. I have been married for a long time and I would not be thrilled if my wife came out and said something like that unless there were previous (playful) conversations on the topic.

That sounds playful, woman in OP implied that she just came out and said she'd cheat and fuck someone else, unprovoked. Her language gives the impression that it wasn't in a joking manner, either. But hey, she "probably" wouldn't go through with it, so that's something! When delivered like that I don't think it matters who the subject is.

My point is that there are additional consequences/factors involved in having surgery as an adult; pain/recovery is merely one of them. I'd be interested to see the statistics on the reverse: circumcised adults and whether or not they would have rather have not had the procedure.

The problem that I have with this argument (that somehow isn't getting brought up), is that in a large number of cases of negative response I'd wager it's because one doesn't have memories from when they were a few days old -- whatever pain you experienced essentially never happened. If you were to ask if one would get circumcised as an adult if they experienced none of the pain or required recovery, and I bet the responses would be much different.
