It kinda sounds more like you're an egalitarian, than a feminist, though.

The phrase was literally a joke started on TikTok I get the sense you weren't around before it became a trend. Extremist feminists have been unironically using that phrase for way longer than TikTok has been around. Probably ought to consider where a vitriolic phrase like that actually originated, before going around saying it; might make you look like somebody you aren't, who has views that you may not.

This is where I meant to put this comment. I live in the US and have had employers tell me that discussing salary/wages was "against company policy." Is there anything I could have done in those cases? I wouldn't have wanted to go out of my way to stir any pots, but fair discussion is fair.

I feel like there are a fair amount of us who needed to see this, as well. Let's not become so wrapped up our own indignation, no matter how righteous it may feel, that we essentially become an embodiment of hate. It's important that we continue to lift each other up. Let the naysayers say "nay" all they want, but let's not give them any ground to stand on.

It doesn't say she's been charged yet, unless I missed it while skimming the article. I'm all for rapists being dealt with justly, but I feel it's important that we do our best to maintain a mindset of "innocent until proven guilty" for all rape accusations, not just the accusations against men. Let me just say though that I don't think it's okay that the poor kid tried to kill himself, and that I feel it is a pretty compelling point for his case.

I'm in the middle of my first playthrough of that game! Just finished episode 2. Starting to worry about a certain somebody exacting revenge on Max in future episodes. Also I'm starting to get the feeling that, despite the crazy meteorological stuff happening, the tornado in Max's visions is just a metaphor for the Vortex club.

Right, but we're not supposed to publicly shame/blame them for anything because their hardship has been brought onto them due to the oppressive white man and certainly not their own somewhat collective perpetuating of gang idolization and refusal to make a change for the better, because that wouldn't be PC. You'd be surprised. As a gas station clerk I'm honestly baffled by how many people don't understand how to use our debit/credit terminal. The manager has even taped little signs on it that say "RED is NO!!" and "GREEN is YES!!" and still every night, without fail, I get a handful of people asking "Which one do I press next?" with instructions clearly outlined on the little screen. It's almost depressing.

Man, I've been an uncle since I was five. Even as I'm now twenty-one, there is absolutely no creepiness to be had. I fit right in both with the adults and the kids, and honestly their parents usually leave them to me to keep them entertained while they relax at our family gatherings. It's awesome. Best advice I can give is to not even care about what the adults think; it's the kids that matter.

There's nothing wrong with them, the comic is a poor attempt at satire. The message it's trying to get across isn't that there's something wrong with chubby girls, but that there's a double standard in dating/hooking up/society in general where women have high standards for men and that guys who don't meet that standard shouldn't deserve to date up, or that if they do then they're considered a creep.

I, a 5'10" 210lb. guy dated a 5'4" 102lb. girl at one point. We met online (shameless plug: text-rp by the name of Improbable Island) and were both instantly attracted to each other's personalities. The first time she visited, my 6'7" 330lb. friend exclaimed "She's so tiny! Aren't you afraid you're gonna break her?!" to both of our embarrassment. We promptly decided we'd go and I mentioned to him later that she was sensitive about her smaller stature, to which he shrugged and muttered some excus…

It's easy enough to throw around sarcastic comments like this if you're not actually paying attention to the different points being made regarding equality and also how the moderate feminists don't seem inclined to do anything about the radical feminists. I wonder if, had the guy at the end of the topic video who was getting harassed by the woman telling him he was "fucking scum" turned around and began shouting in her face (without laying a finger on her, mind you), he would have made the prote…
