Financial Disclosures...I have seen options on dating sites before I was married that gave you a status of separated or looking for a friendship. You are allowed to have female friends. She has to prove you engaged in some type of sex. As long as she didn't catch you in the act, have photos, or recordings then anyone you met was just a friend. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/07/21 05:30 PM
Help me be a better DadDevelop a relationship and a structured schedule. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Play time / school time Help him with school every night you have him. Figure out activities you enjoy together. I take mine to the park. Toss baseball. Wrestle gently. Have a movie night at home or at theater. Take him to dinner. Teach him all of the stuff you wish you knew when you were little. Get him involved in sports or outdoors. Camping, fishing, hunting will create memories that last a lifetime | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/07/21 05:48 AM
My situation/adviceMarriage is not sacred anymore. It is just a tool for women to screw men. I have told my kids flat out don’t get married unless you date someone for 10 + years and have prenups for all finances. It’s not worth the risk otherwise. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/04/21 02:59 AM
My situation/adviceHer boyfriend liked how well I was taking care of her. Fixing her teeth, tanning, fitness, all of the spending cash for their hotel rooms and food. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/04/21 02:40 AM
My situation/adviceThe longer you wait the harder it gets financially and emotionally. I have gone through a very similar situation and I just put a retainer down for a lawyer. I wish I would have done it 5 years prior. Now I am at 11 years of marriage. I probably wouldn’t have had alimony if I had done when I knew it was over rather than trying to grinding it out. Child support and alimony were tax deductible for divorces prior to 2019 which made them hurt a lot less. Your investments and 401k get bigger as time … | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/04/21 02:28 AM
Men who have children and who are (getting) divorced, what would you need to see in a potential partner for her to be a more serious prospect to you?Marriage has zero advantages for men. You are only setting yourself up to get screwed if it doesn’t workout. I will never trust another woman because it is lose lose situation | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/04/21 11:30 PM
