Probably. They weren't frowning so hard until I got their attention to order what I wanted. Must be the look on my face or something about my demeanor in general. I do ask stupid questions a lot when I'm nervous. Hard to say for sure.

Even with friends in real life, people seem to get really offended whenever I bring up the alpha-beta thing. I don't get what the big deal is. It's not that different than calling people winners and losers.

I've consumed a fair amount of Catholic resources (propoganda?) that bring up what sex life is like within a chaste marriage (only sex with spouse, no porn, no masturbation, etc.) The description is always the same: "It's more fun than casual sex". My guess for why it would be better, is because the spouses feel totally free to let the sex make them bond with each other. I'm going off the numbers I saw on a certain subreddit for sex-workers. The percentage of them that dislike or just straight-up despise their male clients is really high, probably like 80% or 90%. Definitely higher than the percentage of wives despising their husbands.

As a man, I blame the other gender for rewarding bad men with sex. If a woman finds a man who behaves immorally, but is otherwise really attractive, giving him a one-night stand is gonna teach him to keep doing what he's doing. Over time, this would also encourage otherwise good men into adopting said behavior in order to earn sex too. I had no idea that the most successful kind of porn was violent/rape. If I were to guess why that's the case, the audience that it appeals to probably watches way more porn than the average viewer, so the violent/rape kind would be consumed more than other the other kinds.

There definitely are a lot of chads out there. But you can also achieve this by limiting contact between the guy and girl so that the chad can have more than one girlfriend without the girls knowing. This also works if people focus on having casual flings and hookups instead of serious relationships so that the chads rotate through more girls than the number guys an individual girl would rotate through.
