I'm glad the story had a happy ending but the dude was a dumbass for falling for her shit the first time around. A friend of mine went through almost an exact same story with the manipulative girl and shotgun wedding after barely meeting. An all too common occurrence in any branch of the military. And most usually don't end up this well.
