Things you did right: - said what you wanted specifically - said that what you wanted involved her - said it as a statement of desire (what you want) versus intent (what you will do no matter what) which means she had the option to say no, meaning she was given some control over the situation and of meeting (or not!) your desires and the feeling of safety that you weren't going to try to force yourself on her All of these are great things, and probably helped your case immensely. But the best th…

Men get hurt and need to feel safe, too. Good for you for seeing he was worth it and showing him that he is more than what he can do for you in bed. Building that trust and *lack" of expectation can be critical in actually unlocking their inner sex demon. Because they finally see that it can be about having a good time with each other, not about a performance goal or that both people need to cum buckets or whatever. Kudos for you, out there winning at the long game!

Canadian here, that's how we roll. We mix and match all over the place, even in the grocery store. We only changed over from imperial in the 70's, and we often travel to the US or deal with Americans that are apparently mostly incapable of understanding metric. So, we sorta roll with all sorts of random shit. We like to publicly be polite and accommodating. It extends to our colloquial units of measurements.

leans in, stares deeply into her eyes, best Texas drawl "Darlin, good gracious me, I want you to put your lips to mine... You are pure seduction, and I wanna know what that tastes like." Lol, but also half serious. Well spoken, polite, sexed up honest cowboy is a romance novel trope for a reason. Women like a guy that will respect the shit out of them, but also fuck their brains out. Possibly with some kinky disrespect involved, but by then you're golden anyway.

I think it would be a really nice gesture. But I'm also a sentimental sweetheart, below the slutty exterior. I think it also depends on how you make your move, and obviously the woman in question. I can't help with understanding each woman's desires, but as for the how? Well... Saying something mild like, "May I kiss you goodnight?" after a successful date may seem too meek for some, and for others it will feel very rushed. But. I think everyone loves someone that can advocate for their own need…

It's called backbenching. She's keeping you around and interested in case the rest of her roster falls through or gets traded (to extend the sports metaphor awkwardly). As someone else here said, you are more than one girl's option. You can keep her around as a side peice if you're both nonmonogamous, but if there are rumours at work that might be bad for your career. You can be someone else's everything if you make time to find that someone else. Spending time on this chick is not gonna get you…

I think there are many men on this subreddit that are here to build up their confidence by seeing posts from others that already have their game down. I also see a lot of posts or comments from people that get angry / frustrated when things don't go their way, and that shows that they aren't confident that they will have other opportunities that will for their way. So, I'm trying to help people understand that it isn't always about you if you're looking for longer term things. Or if you're with …

For the guys that are nervous about being that bold I think it is a decent option. I'm a horny bisexual chick with a high libido and I don't spend more than an hour with a date unless I want to fuck them. I am a switch, and sometimes am in the position of being the one doing the seducing, convincing nervous nerd boys that they are in fact sexy and do in fact want to give me a strip show. (I am not representative of my gender, I realize that.) Many women that I know talk about accepting kisses or…

For those that are too nervous to just go for it, there are also other options rather than just leaning in and taking the kiss. There is physical seduction, but there is also mental seduction. For those who aren't comfortable with being boldly physical, mental seduction may be as effective. For instance, with the example of bringing her home and kissing her when she takes off her coat, that is a physical seduction. A simpler physical seduction is to casually take her hand as you give her a tour …

The corrector is useful for learning what it feels like to have food posture, and the idea is that you wear it to remind yourself and then when you aren't wearing it you can try to use your muscles to put your shoulders into the same position. It's a memory device, not anything to build muscle tone.
/r/seduction07/08/21 07:27 AM

Also, rowing. If you don't right (mega caveat) you will be strengthening the back and shoulder muscles that draw your shoulders up and helps to hold your spine straighter.

I'm bi. I like pussies. I am learning that there are a lot of very picky bitches out there when it comes to bodies and shapes and sizes. I dunno, the enthusiasm of my partner has always made the moment, dick size / shape is just one tool in the pleasure toolbox. I'm sorry you guys have to deal with such bullshit. If I ever hear a woman talk trash about uncut dicks I will shut her the fuck down. It's just ignorant. A dick is a dick.
/r/MensRights02/08/21 08:10 PM

You mean American women won't suck the dicks of people from those countries? Really? Is this anecdotal evidence, or...?
/r/MensRights02/08/21 08:05 PM
1

I'm confused by what sounds like sarcasm... In your analogy the mutilated vulva is the same as a cut dick. Are you saying that all cut dicks are as non-functional as a pussy that was sewed shut and has no clit? Or...? I genuinely have never met a dick that wasn't nice looking. Because I don't meet a dick unless I'm about to fuck said dick, which means it looks like I am having a good day.
/r/MensRights02/08/21 08:05 PM

it's what they themselves prefer to put in their mouths. I guess I'm just weird then. Hygiene is the most important thing, and outside of that cut vs uncut makes no difference to me. So, does this mean that when stereotypically uncut European men come to the US they have trouble getting their dick sucked?

That's fucking crazy. I've never heard anyone say that in Canada, but I also mostly hang out with prudes who don't talk about sex, so I suppose my sample is fairly biased towards people who don't say anything. There is nothing ugly about a cut or uncut dick. Ditto for grow-ers vs show-ers. Or brown eyes vs blue eyes. If you can't see someone's beauty because they have the "wrong" eye color or tit size or dick skin, you're a horrible and shallow person. JFC. Edit: also, do these men saying this t…

I would not mutilate my child, and I appreciate both cut and uncut cocks. Maybe as a non-American I have a different perspective. I'm sorry you live in a culture that somehow cares how much skin a dick has. That's ridiculous.

In at least one case a boy was raised as a girl after especially gruesome disfigurement in the past. No shit. It is impossible to read his story without feeling ill: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-11814300 Horrifying doesn't begin to capture it, and I am a woman that was not born with a dick but, I guess I can't know that for sure. It is also apparently still quite common to remove the penises of intersex infants with fully functioning female genitals in western culture to let them "live a norm…

I completely agree. I have friends (acquaintances more like) that had to rush their infant son back to the hospital due to complications with his circumcision, and I looked into it then out of curiosity about the statistics. I was surprised they went with circumcision because they aren't religious and I didn't understand the need for surgery, clearly human dicks were fine for eons without medical interventions. Before that I was merely surprised when a friend would get their child circumcised. A…

Never mind later in life, there are accidents during circumcisions that leave the penis permanently damaged, scarred, or in some cases destroyed, and in rare cases infants have died after complications from their usually unnecessary operation. https://med.stanford.edu/newborns/professional-education/circumcision/complications.html

So your assertion is that parents are choosing to cut their infant sons so that they can get better pussy when they are older? I don't think so. Pretty sure it is done because it is a religious preference. European women seem very satisfied with uncut dick, as do Japanese women (they have one of the lowest rates of circumcision in the world). Also, I am a woman and I have no preference over cut vs uncut. It is the cleanliness and the way the owner uses a cock (and fingers, tongues, and toys) tha…

"Don't tend to take" vs "Are not easily able to take due to societal pressures and hiring biases" are two different statements. There are a variety of reasons why women are not made welcome in roles with high risk pay, and that is not something "perpetrated by women". It is a societal problem that both men and women need to address together. There can be BOTH a pay gap AND an earnings gap. I work in STEM, and many of my university friends do. If women dominate STEM, it isn't in any of the industries that my friends and I work in. I don't count managers of STEM projects as being "in STEM", so maybe that's a discrepancy? Please don't take anything late teens say seriously. Male or female. I entirely agree that women and men (I use the term society / we as shorthand for this) need to take responsibility for each other's wellbeing. It is often easiest to see the need to prioritize and solve problems that you or people you identify with are facing or have faced. It is also easier to rally people behind a specific cause than a generic one because the specific cause can easily be focused on by everyone without confusion. This is why we have cancer charities and research teams, and dif…

I have never said I am a feminist. I know feminists, but none that have done these things that are being described here. I don't know any women that think rape is only a male initiated thing, or that domestic violence is only a male on women thing. Many of the people responsible for residential schools are dead and gone, that doesn't mean I can't want to work extra hard to repair the damage that was done by them under the banner of something I am associated with. No need to apologize. Google didn't find that they underpaid all men, not even close to it. For one low level role they found that they weren't going to give men the same raises as women in one particular year. It wasn't across the company, as you are suggesting, and it was raises being unequal not vast salary differences on hiring. https://www.wired.com/story/men-google-paid-less-than-women-not-really/ The reason why looking at pay scales is important is to make sure that things like that don't happen. I'm 100% with you on sexism and ageism and racism being unacceptable. I have not claimed to be a feminist, I have said that I am new to the MRA movement, and that my understanding of feminism is that it argues for equal(ising) rights by focusing on issues affecting women, like BLM does for issues affecting POC. I do think that (and have often experienced) women in the workforce are still not treated equally, despite some people here adamantly insisting that we are. I do know women and men who id…

Many things are against the law. But to prove something illegal was done, you have to have evidence. With most payrolls still being confidential, it is difficult to prove that you are being undercompensated to be able to have a legal ruling made against an employer. When studies are done on differences, even accounting for time away from the workforce, there are still major gaps. Just because there aren't lawsuits doesn't mean illegal activity is not happening. Racially motivated checkstops and …

I see your dog analogy, and I think we can both agree that if one dog bites you, the solution is not to kick all dogs but to accept that not all dogs bite. This takes time, and often counselling, but the problem in that situation is the person acting aggressively towards all members of a group (dogs) due to the actions of a single member of that group. I think this is what you were saying with the rest of your points. There is a point where you are bitten by enough dogs that the only reasonable …

No, BLM is not about black supremacy. No, feminism is not about female supremacy. This cannot be a productive conversation if you believe those things. It becomes an "us versus them" mentality and no progress can be made. We are in the same boat. We want the same things. I'm sorry you have not been exposed to the positive sides of BLM and feminism. They very much do exist.

Alright, perhaps my experience with the term feminism is seen through a more mild lens then. Certainly many of the things being described as "what feminists do" in this thread are things that the women's rights advocates I know would actively shut down.

The gap is complicated, I agree. There are industries, like low wage fast food workers, that don't have many significant wage gaps. There are choices some people make that result in fewer hours worked, certainly. Companies in the knowledge worker sphere want to hire "the best" talent, so your assertion that hiring cheap would be the norm is not true there. Also, due to unconscious bias, most people hire people that look like them. So, if there are two identical resumes, the team will choose the …

I have never met a feminist in real life that would condone let alone participate in any of the things you mentioned. Those are the extremists, and I agree that they are filled with hate and that they do not represent what many women see as the crux of feminism, which is equal rights. Wage gap is the difference in pay earned by non white males. It isn't just about gender differences, minorities also face lower pay just for their race. The gender pay gap is the most commonly referred to wage gap, but POC face similar issues. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_pay_gap

I am aware that anecdotes are not data. I have also seen studies that do show gender and racial bias in hiring and pay. Just because I believe that there is a wage gap does not make me a feminazi or less interested in men's rights.

I am not a feminazi. I work in a male dominated industry and have seen studies showing that putting black or female names on a resume makes both men AND women lowball or pass on potential hires. That's a contributor to the wage gap. I have had female managers tell me we shouldn't hire young female staff because "they will probably go off and have babies soon". The wage gap does exist, on that we will have to agree to disagree. Toxic masculinity is when men are told that they are only worth what their body offers a woman, that they need to bury their feelings, that they need to "take it like a man" rather than seek the mental health services they may need, among other horrible things that boys are taught. My position was to try to explain that there is a spectrum to feminism, and that women that advocate for women's rights can also advocate for men's rights. They are not mutually exclusive causes. To equate feminists with Nazis, or the KKK as above, seems to only look at the most hardcore feminists and decide that the entirety of feminism or females in favour of social justice is aimed at denying men rights. I just tried to put this into words for someone today and probably sounded like a lunatic. It's so true, though. Someone willing to say where they stand, even when they know you don't necessarily agree, shows that they have principles. And that they value them. Which is a pretty decent indicator that they might value other people's. It also shows that they have enough respect for you to stand their ground and know that you will support them and their boundaries, if you actually care about them. …

I totally agree. Live today. Fully. Completely. Insanely. With every part of your being. Don't ruin your tomorrows, but really be here now. You do not know how many more todays you will get. That said, I freak people out with my intensity, so... Maybe I do to…

You're saying that it is bad to love someone if they won't ever love you? That's a pretty reductionist and transactional way of looking at love. Admittedly, I am polyamorous and I deeply love many people at one time, which may be the difference in my perspective. However, in my experience loving another person deepens your ability to see beauty and magic in the world, and to appreciate new things that you may not have been exposed to without knowing them: a cool band, an interesting hobby, a gre…

I want ultimate respect outside of the bedroom. I am a motherfucking badass. I have real patents, plural, pending. I am smart as fuck, and I am good at my job. So much so that intimidate people at times with the depths of my reasoning for why X is a good idea or Y is the worst fucking peice of shit idea I've ever heard in my life. I am a boss, and it is obvious to most people after a few minutes of hearing me talk about my subject of expertise. At the office, and with people I don't know? You be…

TIP ZERO: Start calling them women and not girls unless you want to pick up twelve year olds. Then you've got different problems. Think of it this way, most men would rather be called a man than a boy. Same diff for the ladies. Yes, there are circumstances where it's fine to call a grownass man a boy, to be teasing, or whatever. But nobody's going around calling James Bond (the ultimate male stereotype) a boy because that's weird. "Ladies" and "women", not "girls" and "chicks". You might be surp…

You can always ask her if she wants you to sit next to her, since every person will have different preferences about appropriate physical space. If the place you're at is really loud she might want you to sit closer just to be able to hear you better, so if she asks you or agrees to let you sit next to her I would caution you not to immediately assume she's smitten. You said this is your first date, I wasn't clear if you meant ever. Here is a great guide from the C&C subreddit about restaurant d…

This is so awesome. I think the same goes for men, in the hands of the right woman he can be everything and everyone.

Depending on your kinks and where you currently live, it might be easier to find people you can relate to online, and then see where it goes. I am a professional woman, but I have a kinky, submissive heart. Expressing my real desires on dating app profiles is difficult because if friends or colleagues saw it I might gain a reputation that would make my chosen profession difficult due to the very conservative area that I live in. So I have to match with people, and then bring up what I'm really l…

All of these are valid points and just go to show that relationships and seduction are personal, and that there is no playbook that tells you how to get to know someone else. Be yourself, confidently. Then don't try to force anything. If it isn't gonna work, then it isn't gonna work. Seduction is about seeing what the other person craves, what they need, what they don't have enough of, and then giving it to them within your own boundaries. I know it isn't a popular opinion here where people see …

Yes, so much this. But not even just with shit tests. In general. Know what you want. Have standards. Stick to them. And when you find someone that meets or exceeds them, make sure they know it.

Sometimes it isn't a shit test. Speaking as an older woman fresh on the dating scene after a recent divorce, sometimes it's her fears about being left behind. About not being able to be enough, or listening to the wrong music, or not being able to make pop culture references, or not fitting in with his friends or "young person" lifestyle. You kids and your Dub Step, and whatever. Haha. Sometimes she thinks she's just going to be a one night stand for you, or some story to tell your friends about…

FWIW, I spent some time in a culturally reserved part of Asia where directness was NOT seen as a virtue, and upon returning to North America I found myself working with mostly shy nerds with social anxiety who couldn't always handle direct questions without getting either angry or flustered. Instead of asking direct questions to the person that I am trying to know better, I try to make sure that I am very open and willing to share things about myself, and that I try to show them that I am a safe…

Nice! Sounds like a good reading list! When I tell people that I have such a variety of books on the go at once I am often met with skepticism and surprise, as if I couldn't possibly be enjoying all of them fully. Maybe I just haven't known enough book junkies like me. Ha! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that does this, thanks!

Who wants to play the dumb, doting girlfriend to a genius, when you can be with someone who treats you as an equal and offers to teach you when they do know more than you? So. Much. This. For me, also, I've never understood what kind of an insecure egomaniac wants to date someone they feel superior to and can't talk to about their life and their passions. Surely sharing your life and your passions with someone that, granted may not share the same fire for the subjects, but can at least appreciat…

Always too many things. I'm trying to focus on a workbook about healing from emotional abuse because I keep pushing people that I care about away with my intense lingering trust and anger issues. I have a book about writing fiction that I'm slowly working through while fleshing out an outline for a story that keeps building in my mind. And I've got a stack of old Heinlein, Asimov, Gibson, Bradbury and LeGuin sci-fi classics to indulge in when I need some escapism. I read at least twelve books at…

Okay, honey. Just wanted to offer that as an option in case it hadn't come up. I'm sorry today wasn't what you had hoped for. I hope you can find the light to lead you out of the darkness. If it means anything, I'm sending love from a stranger to help ease your pain. You are loved, and you are worthy of the kind of love you need. 💖

Perhaps your love language is gifts and acts of service, but his are not? He may not value gifts the way you do, and not understand how much this meant to you. I find it hard to feel compassion sometimes when I'm feeling hurt, but the best relationships are built on these things. If you two haven't talked love languages or relationship attachment types, now might be a good time to look into them. Together. Best wishes, OP. It hurts to hurt, but you wouldn't hurt if you didn't love him in the fir…

Yeah. I'm a bratty submissive polyamorous bisexual that likes rough sex in a strong, supportive D/s relationship. I am a flexible and understanding partner that wants to give others the love that they need to feel validated, and I want the same from them. That doesn't mean I can't be polite and understanding and respectful of other cultures. And I'm not going to try to force someone that isn't dominant into learning to dominate me. Seduction is subjective. It is giving someone the ultimate exper…

The people on /r/love might enjoy this. Thank you for sharing! People rarely fully communicate their honest selves, instead hiding their true thoughts, beliefs and intentions out of fear of making themselves vulnerable. So many situations are explained by this. People not wanting to be vulnerable, so they hold back their real selves thinking that the other person would not choose them if they knew the truth. The most healthy relationships are where you choose someone and are chosen because they …

Sounds like you're completely willing to accept and adapt to the culture that you are living in! Wow! /sarcasm Just like most Americans I met when I travelled in Japan, sadly. No concept that you are in their land now. Just because it is the culture you grew up in doesn't mean it is the best one. You are free to march through other countries disrespecting their social structures and approach to etiquette, but it reflects back on your own arrogant and self-centered culture more than you can imagi…

I lived in Japan for a bit, and yeah. There are definitely different rules. For instance, holding hands is like third base, and there are many movies and TV shows where the main characters finally touch hands, resulting in an almost sexual release of tension. Over touching hands, not always even holding hands. Being aware of the culture of the person you are interested in helps immensely, but you can't assume that just from their looks. On the topic of seductive gazes and Western women, though, …

It’s like making a dad joke when you’re passionately making out. I think this would actually make me fall harder... Haha... I love a good that destroys serious moments with silliness. But yeah, not for everyone. Rule 1 of anything: know your audience. Take the pressure off of yourself, assume she already likes you, and just build comfort and rapport with her. Get to know her. Converse. Be light hearted a little bit. That’s all you need. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT THIS. Let go of the outcome. Indeed. Sh…

This is such a wonderful story! :) It's so nice when your efforts to show your man how much you appreciate him are returned in praise, and in him telling others how much you rock his world. Getting extra touchy in public sounds great, too! ☺️ So happy you've found someone who gives back as good as you give it to him. :)

Also what I needed to read today. I've definitely struggled a lot with my two selves: the strong, independent woman that has her shit together and knows what she wants in life (and in the bedroom) vs the caregiver side of me that wants to be praised for making a fabulous meal (or for being a good sub in the bedroom). I oscillate between the two selves never feeling like I can be one side fully. This concept of deference, though, sits really well with me. Thanks! Glad I'm not the only one having …
