Uhh, those quotes don't look good... sounds like she didn't want to have sex and he didn't care....

The start of the article was talking about the authors previous beliefs were found out as misconceptions. Don't read it. I don't care. I still think you are mischaraxterizing it.

"Why didn't the author write about girls in an article about boys?!?" I don't get that sentiment. I agree that toxic femininity needs to be addressed more, but that doesn't negate the authors point that having relationships and developing understanding with boys is better than just punishing them.

You really shouldn't have stopped. I don't think this article is talking about behavior of the kids as much as it is talking about the behavior of adults. "schools need to stop using a “boys will be boys” approach to discipline that erodes relationships by creating resentments, destroying trust and perpetuating an endless power struggle between boys and their teachers. Schools must put relationships first"

I don't know, I felt like the point of the article was that those kinds of behaviors don't work and the author had much more success using a reassuring approach. You should probably read up until at least you reach the point the author is trying take before judging this out of hand.

You said plenty by leaving. The adult this to do is not mention it or discuss jt.

Imagining that all women felt this way and that men respect women as equals, I don't think that there would be a legislative solution because theoretically half of the legislators would be women who wouldn't be interested in making that legislation. Obv this is a hypothetical, but just because women decide to stop having children doesn't automatically give men the exclusive right to control them.

If you keep getting smacked and don't move your head, you aren't making any reasonable effort about that potential danger. Take a step back, she keeps coming and won't quit, yeah, lay the bitch out, but he let her hit him so he could be justified in hitter her back harder

"Hey, this guy here slapped me so I went ahead and put their face into the pavement and caused possible permanent damage." I not saying what she was doing ok, but she wasn't endangering him at all. He put her into significant danger.

There were a lot of ways for him to end this without KO'ing the girl. He chose the most violent option. Just because someone is annoying you doesn't give you the right to injure them. That is US cop logic right there...

Yeah, he was obv aggressive with the camerawoman. He didn't seem really keen on deescalating anything either.

What world do you live in? Women get tons of grief for acting promiscuous.

That is a terrible take. I hate false accusations as much as the next guy but "for life" is just a ridiculous over exageration

The article pretty clearly an unambiguously talks about how it is hard for the father in several places. Please read before commenting something that isn't true.

At what point does that article insinuate that "the burden is all on her"? I agree that this is super shitty for the dad and likely he is having a rouger go than she is, but you are misrepresenting the article with this baity headline

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
