It's sometimes true! If she's still friends with you she might just not want to fuck you RIGHT NOW. Sometimes it's just not a good time to enter into a sexual relationship with someone. That can change. I definitely have been friends with guys and found myself thinking dirty thoughts when they were around...but for whatever reason it just wouldn't be appropriate.

Reality check not needed; obviously I'm aware of that. Some women CAN tell when a guy is only friends with her in order to bed her vs. when a guy is friends with her but would ALSO would bed her. Either way, it was kind of a difficult thing to realize when I was a young adult---disappointing I guess is the better word. When I said "initially" I meant the bar/club/party situation. Men don't approach "interesting" looking women in bars. They approach attractive ones, and in the case of the PUA, th…

You definitely dodged a bullet there. Just ignore women like that.

I think initially they are mutually exclusive, but over time it ends up being both.

As a girl, I wouldn't say that it's "mind blowing," but I would agree that it really sucks to think that guys only (at least initially) want to be friends with me because they want to fuck me. I used to be very naive and think, "Oh, no he likes me because we have similar interests!" or "Oh, he's like a father figure! (in the case of a particularly old friend)" or "We're just friends, he feels that way too!" Nope. Lies every time. If you're a good looking girl, it's just something you have to be …

Also known as "playing hard to get." This isn't rocket science.

My impression was that the situation at that point was so awkward she just wanted to escape.

Can't you come up with a different way to sway him? Emasculate him, do ANYTHING to get him out of this relationship. I feel so bad for him! He may get mad at you now if you try to humiliate him but he'll be so much better off. I know girls like this and they are horrible creatures.

"i want to keep the engagement...incase things don't work out with him." Who the fuck cares if she cheated? If someone said this to me, I would be devastated but the relationship would be over. I'm appalled that the deciding factor is whether she cheated. She's obviously not ready to get married, let alone be in a relationship with other actual human beings. Also, the fact that she agreed to keep the engagement and make it work after a comment like that shows that it DIDN'T work out with the oth…

I'm a girl and I started talking on the phone with a chap who at the moment lives across the country from me. He fell for me and it wasn't pretty when I had to explain...over the phone...that it just wasn't happening. Girl advice: People tend to stick to texting nowadays because it's safer. If you have nothing interesting to say, don't call her. Unless she's a real idiot (I mean, that may be what you're looking for), she's going to realize you suck after five minutes of talking on the phone vs. …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
